This episode is set to air as a Christmas Special, and everyone is putting in extra effort. The official Christmas holiday starts the day after tomorrow, and to avoid working overtime during the break, Miao PD announced that video editing will take place overnight tonight.
It's been a while since anyone has worked overnight, but everyone gladly accepted it in order to enjoy their winter vacation afterward.
"What should I do..." Taeyeon whispered anxiously, hiding behind a sofa in a room as the footsteps grew closer.
Anna signaled the VJ to turn off the filming lights. Taeyeon, whose forehead was covered in sweat from nervousness, glanced gratefully at Anna. With the danger averted, Taeyeon emerged from behind the sofa, sighed in relief, and smiled at Anna, saying, "Thank you, Miss Anna."
However, just as she stepped out of the room, there was a sudden rush of footsteps. Taeyeon turned her head, and Anna instinctively looked over as well, but suddenly everything spun around her and she lost her balance, falling to the ground.
It turned out that Lee Kwang-soo was chasing Yoo Jae-suk. Brother Jae-seok moved too quickly and accidentally knocked Anna down. This fall blocked Kwang-soo's path, but instead of escaping as he should have, Yoo Jae-suk saw Anna on the ground and quickly stopped to help her up.
"Are you okay?" Yoo Jae-suk asked.
Anna shook her head and replied, "I'm fine, Brother Jae-seok."
Just then, Lee Kwang-soo suddenly ripped off Yoo Jae-suk's name tag.
"Hey! Lee Kwang-soo, you really..." Yoo Jae-suk looked helplessly at Kwang-soo holding his name tag.
Anna looked at him with disdain, while Taeyeon found it amusing. Kwang-soo seemed a bit embarrassed and blushed as he said, "Taeyeon, Anna, I'm not that kind of person..." His explanation was weak and pale; even he couldn't convince himself.
Yoo Jae-suk was taken away by a man in a suit, and Anna said, "I'm sorry, Brother Jae-seok."
"It's fine, Anna. Ah! Lee Kwang-soo, I will remember you," Jae-seok said as he disappeared around the corner of the hallway.
Looking at Taeyeon, who was smiling and stepping back slightly, Kwang-soo smiled and said, "Taeyeon, I'm not that kind of person."
Taeyeon's smile remained bright, but she shook her head repeatedly and did not stop her retreating steps.
Anna mouthed to Kwang-soo, "Come on."
Then she ran off with Taeyeon. Kwang-soo looked at the name tag in his hand with frustration, deeply regretting his earlier actions.
The filming finally wrapped up, and the post-production should be completed soon. After an all-night initial edit, it was already morning when he left the company. After such all-nighters, it had become a habit for Anna to go to the nearby 24-hour convenience store to grab something to eat and take a break.
Two skewers of fish balls and a cup of instant noodles later, this time she didn't doze off. After eating, she felt warm inside and continued walking on the thick snow on her way home. "The day after tomorrow is Christmas Eve," Andy said while flipping through a newspaper.
"Yeah, so tomorrow Brother Jae-seok, Miao PD, and Brother Kwang-soo have plans to go to the welfare home to deliver some holiday gifts," Anna replied as the latest episode of Running Man's Christmas Special replayed on the television. They had just finished producing that episode two days ago while Anna peeled an apple.
"Aren't you on break? Are you still going to film?" Andy asked.
