"You all are being emotional. The priority now is to protect the show Running Man," Li Xiuyu said.
"Running Man is a show, but it's also a place that values loyalty. If we're going to continue filming without Brother Jae-seok, then I won't participate," Anna declared.
"You're threatening us," Lee Joon-seok pointed at Anna and said, "Even without you, there are other staff members. The show can still go on without one person."
“Lee Joon-seok, watch your tone,” Miao PD interrupted the heated words of Lee Joon-seok and then said to Anna, “Anna, things haven't reached such an extreme point.”
Zhao PD looked at the silent Jung Kook and the others, saying, “Jung Kook, Kwang-soo, Ji-hyo, Gary, what about you?”
“I won’t record without Brother Jae-seok. I’m waiting for him to come back,” Jung Kook said firmly while keeping his head down.
“I’m waiting for Brother Jae-seok,” Kwang-soo added.
“No Jae-seok, no recording for me either,” Seok-jin stated.
“When the show started, we didn’t know anything. It was Brother Jae-seok who gradually brought us to where we are now. If he doesn’t come back, we won’t record,” Ji-hyo and Gary exchanged a knowing smile, confirming each other's thoughts.
Miao PD smiled with relief.
Anna finally felt warmth in her heart.
“Alright, then we’ll wait for the day when the truth about Yoo Jae-suk comes to light,” Zhao PD said.
“Director Zhao, but we...?” Lee Joon-seok and some others who disagreed with this approach still felt doubtful.
Zhao PD made a reassuring gesture and frowned as he said, “If some people are unwilling to remain in a temporary work stoppage or want to seek other paths to produce different variety shows, you can come find me after the meeting. I will arrange other Task Forces for you.”
With those words, the debate was finally put to rest.
The meeting dispersed, but Anna was quietly making plans in her heart. In the past, it was always Brother Jae-seok helping others; now, it was time for everyone to lend him a hand as well.
