After a brief hesitation, Ye Tian stepped forward, realizing that obtaining inner cores from low-level monsters was not an easy task. There is no free lunch in this world; to get what one desires, one must be prepared to pay the price.

“Four-Eyed Python?!” Ye Tianjing exclaimed. Although he did not know if one of the two giant pythons was the same one he encountered that day, seeing these massive creatures made Ye Tian break out in a cold sweat.
After the shock came helplessness, followed by curiosity. He was astonished by the might of the giant pythons, helpless because there was no chance to take advantage of the situation, and curious about why these two pythons of the same kind were entangled in a deadly struggle.
However, after feeling helpless, he let out a startled cry.
A massive wave surged again, reaching heights of forty to fifty feet. The ancient tree where Ye Tian was hiding was only about twenty feet tall, and with this Turbulent Wave crashing down, it was instantly submerged. Fortunately, the tree had deep roots and strong branches; otherwise, Ye Tian would have been swept into the Great River and faced an undeserved disaster.
Even after enduring the violent onslaught, Ye Tian found himself filled with water, choking as the Turbulent Waves receded. He felt as if his chest and lungs were on fire from coughing.

A tiny human who nearly lost his life to a huge wave naturally did not attract the attention of the giant pythons. “Humans are the pinnacle of all beings! How can I be afraid of these monsters?!” Ye Tian shouted defiantly, trying to bolster his courage. Yet more than that, it stemmed from an inner anger; for some reason, he felt an unexpected stubbornness and boldness at this moment.
Steadying himself, Ye Tian secretly activated his Martial Origin Power because the two giant pythons were once again rolling in a tumultuous manner. Once they started rolling again, another towering Turbulent Wave would follow. But this time, he resolved to withstand the Turbulent Waves without retreating an inch.
Sure enough, after a moment, the Turbulent Waves surged forth, and the roaring sound of water drowned out all other noises. The massive waves came crashing down with overwhelming force.
"Scary!"

The Four-Eyed Python was named Swallowing Sky Jiao, with ranks ranging from Profound Level Three to Profound Level Seven, depending on the colors of its four eyes: white, azure, red, purple, and gold, corresponding to ranks three through seven. Although the Swallowing Sky Jiao had a high rank and possessed immense power capable of shattering mountains, it lacked intelligence. This was precisely why it could only reach Profound Level Seven and not advance further.
However, despite lacking intelligence, the Swallowing Sky Jiao must possess an inner dan within its body, which was innate; no one knew why this was so.
The Spiritual Treasure Compendium contained analyses and interpretations regarding the innate dan of the Swallowing Sky Jiao but remained uncertain. The most plausible analysis that Ye Tian found suggested that the Swallowing Sky Jiao carried the bloodline of a Divine Dragon, being a hybrid of a Divine Dragon and the Heavenly Tier Eight Beast Black Fiend Devouring Python. The Divine Dragon needed no introduction, while the Black Fiend Devouring Python was also an exceptional beast with intelligence and power. However, despite its noble lineage, the Swallowing Sky Jiao was undeniably a vile creature. After being born, they would eagerly kill their mother and devour her inner dan. "For an inner dan, they can even kill their own mother; let alone their kin! They deserve to die!" Ye Tian seemed to understand now why the two Swallowing Sky Jiao fought desperately against each other—it must be due to their greed for each other's inner dan.
As Ye Tian spoke, the two Swallowing Sky Jiaos were not idle either. The one in the advantageous position was eager to swallow the opponent's inner dan and, without waiting to completely deal with the other, directly thrust its head into the opponent's wound, targeting the Seven Inches.
The Seven Inches is the vital point for all pythons, and the Swallowing Sky Jiao is no exception. Moreover, any python that forms a dan does so at the Seven Inches.
At this moment, the dominant Swallowing Sky Jiao was impatiently aiming for the inner dan at the Seven Inches, but this gave the already desperate other Swallowing Sky Jiao an opportunity. The other Swallowing Sky Jiao, in pain, wildly thrashed its body. In such a struggle, the earlier Swallowing Sky Jiao that had only swallowed half of the inner dan fell dead into the river, splashing high waves.
Seeing its opponent killed, the other Swallowing Sky Jiao weakly submerged into the water and swam away, leaving a long trail of blood on the river surface.
Although it had won the battle, its injuries were so severe that they were beyond healing. It was likely that it would find a place to wait for death.
After witnessing this thrilling battle of giant beasts, Ye Tian adjusted his breathing to calm his emotions and then descended into the Forest to leave.
However, just as he was about to step forward, an object emitting a blue-green glow in a semicircular shape about ten feet ahead caused his footsteps to halt instantly, unable to move even an inch.
