The two were momentarily stunned upon hearing this. They had initially thought that Ye Tian would vehemently refute their claims, perhaps even become angry enough to take action. Therefore, they had prepared everything they believed would leave Ye Tian speechless.

Elder Dou was taken aback by Ye Tian's words. Li Xun sought the position of Cloud Pavilion Master, and while Elder Dou primarily wanted to kill Xuanyuan Changfeng to avenge his brother, he also harbored thoughts of sitting in that position himself. In this regard, they indeed had some similarities.
"Well then, since that's the case, let's each go our own way." After a cold laugh, Elder Dou turned and left.
Ye Tian's earlier statement was quite clear; he was telling Elder Dou that as long as they did not threaten Cloudscroll Pavilion, they could do whatever they wanted.
