Fire Tongue Grass was extremely fierce, and after it spewed forth, all the plants within ten zhang were instantly reduced to ashes, dissipating with a light breeze.
"Here they come!" Ye Tian focused intently on the cave entrance, feeling that the two Crimson Flame Apes were getting closer.
Before he could finish speaking, a furious roar echoed from within the cave, followed by a wave of heat as the ten zhang long Fire Tongue Grass erupted once more.

"Ye Tian, are we chasing?" came Cold Moon's voice from another branch.
"Not for now." Ye Tian lowered his voice as much as possible. The Crimson Flame Ape was not to be underestimated; although everyone suppressed their Martial Origin Power aura, sounds could still attract its attention.
"If we don't chase now, it will get away." Unlike Yun'er, Cold Moon did not possess the Blood Exchange and Marrow Transformation Technique, making her perception of beasts quite weak. She failed to notice that there was still another Crimson Flame Ape inside the cave.
Ye Tian pointed towards the cave, indicating that there was still one inside.
Seeing this, Cold Moon immediately leaped down and rushed towards the cave. She misunderstood Ye Tian's meaning and thought that his action signified that the Crimson Flame Ape had already left, so she went in to investigate...
Both Yun'er and Ye Tian were alarmed; there was still one Crimson Flame Ape inside, and they had just driven off an intruder into their lair. The beast was in a furious state, and for Cold Moon to intrude again at this moment would be asking for trouble...
"Sister Ningyue!" Yun'er called out loudly, but Cold Moon's figure had already flashed into the cave.
Without saying a word, Ye Tian activated the Yuqi Tayan Jue with full force and followed her in an instant.
As Ye Tian entered the cave, he felt a wave of heat so intense it could singe eyebrows, followed by furious roars and Cold Moon's cries of alarm. Then, deep within the cave, a flicker of fire suddenly ignited!
"Be careful!" Ye Tianxia shouted instinctively, for he saw the panic-stricken face of Cold Moon.
Cold Moon was not weak, but she had not experienced many life-and-death battles, especially against such a fierce beast. She had never encountered anything like this before, and in that critical moment, she found herself in a state of panic.
The Fire Tongue Grass surged forward like a ferocious fire serpent, engulfing everything in its path.
Ye Tianxin's heart sank. If Cold Moon were to be consumed by the Fire Tongue Grass, even if she survived, her cultivation and stunning beauty would likely be lost. Moreover, compared to death, those two losses might cause Cold Moon even greater suffering.
However, being a direct disciple of the Lord, Cold Moon quickly regained her composure in this dire situation. With her left hand forming a sword gesture and her right hand holding the sword across her chest, she rapidly recited an incantation. Soon after, her sword emitted a humming sound, and a ripple like water and mist spread out from it.
The ripple expanded continuously around the sword, and in just a moment, a barrier of mist formed before Cold Moon.
As the Fire Tongue Grass surged forward and made contact with the mist barrier, it hissed loudly but ultimately could not break through. Instead, it dissipated into a cloud of white smoke.
Although she had fended off this attack, cold sweat dripped down Cold Moon's forehead. It was a close call; had she hesitated for even a moment longer, she would have likely turned to ashes by now.
Roar!
In the dim cave, a pair of crimson eyes suddenly lit up, glowing with a flame-like intensity that was terrifying.
"Run!"
Ye Tian's voice came from behind. Cold Moon glanced back but turned her head again just in time to see a fist engulfed in flames, as large as a sea bowl, crashing toward her.
Hiss!
The sound was still like boiling water, but this time it was much more intense, almost piercing. The mist barrier trembled violently, and a wave of heat surged through.
Cold Moon's pupils suddenly constricted as she held her long sword aloft and flicked it, unleashing a sharp beam of sword light that sliced directly toward the abdomen of the Crimson Flame Ape.
The Crimson Flame Ape's eyes blazed with fury; this mere human not only dared to intrude into its lair but also attempted to attack it—truly oblivious to the danger!
Roar!
With another furious roar, the Crimson Flame Ape ignored the incoming sword energy and slammed its fists down onto the ground. Two flames erupted as its fists struck the earth, and a wave of fire exploded outward from the impact.
This wave of fire was far more ferocious than the Fire Tongue Grass before; Cold Moon barely had time to react, and her heart sank.
In that moment, time seemed to freeze. Amidst the howling chaos of the raging flames, she could clearly hear Ye Tian's anxious shouts and the sound of breaking air behind her. Then came the scorching heat; in an instant, Cold Moon felt her body beginning to dry out.
Clang!
At that moment, the long sword in Cold Moon's hand suddenly let out a long cry, then unexpectedly slipped from her grasp as Ling Kong began to spin rapidly.
As the sword spun, a dazzling light burst forth, and centered around the sword, a hurricane swept through, enveloped in brilliance.
The wave of fire was weakened significantly by the hurricane, and Cold Moon's breathing eased slightly as her mind became clearer again.
"Run!"
Behind her was Ye Tian's figure. Cold Moon felt her arm tighten as she was involuntarily pulled outward with great force, turning her body forward and being shielded by Ye Tian.
In the next moment, the heat wave broke free from its constraints. The long sword was caught in Ye Tian's hand just before it hit the ground, but the searing flames instantly burned his arm that held the sword.
Ye Tian gritted his teeth and did not cry out in pain, but Cold Moon could sense that Ye Tian had just trembled. Soon, Cold Moon's body pressed against a not-so-strong arm, and a distinctly masculine scent filled her nose.
"Ye Tian..." Cold Moon called out in her heart. In critical moments, it was never Thunderstorm who risked their life to save others.
A strange feeling arose from the depths of her heart, and a flush crept onto Cold Moon's face, unknowingly turning redder than the flames around her.
Beside her were the howling Whispers. Ye Tian frowned tightly, his face full of determination. Cold Moon glanced up secretly, and her inner turmoil grew even more complicated.
Moments later, Cold Moon felt a gentle breeze rushing in; it seemed the cave entrance was just ahead.
She hurriedly forced herself to calm down, the flush on her face gradually fading as she regained her icy beauty.
With a whoosh!
Ye Tian exerted all his strength to activate Yuqi Tayan Jue and surged out of the cave entrance, tracing an arc in mid-air before heading into the distance.
Behind him was an extraordinarily long Fire Tongue Grass that resembled a fire dragon; the flames were even tinged with black, indicating an incredibly high temperature.
Yun'er had sharp eyes and immediately noticed the injuries on Ye Tian's arm, where the skin was charred black, likely from burns caused by Void Fire.
"Ye Tian!" Yun'er felt a pang in her heart but remained calm enough to remind Duan Liu to wait again.
Duan Liu nodded in agreement, then Yun'er swiftly moved toward Ye Tian's direction. Just as Yun'er left, Duan Liu also moved; he was a man and could not hide away just because of danger.
At the cave entrance, an angry roar erupted, and at the same time, a massive figure engulfed in flames burst forth.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
It pounded its chest fiercely with both fists, and with each strike, Fire Tongue Grass splattered out. Standing nearly ten feet tall, it was engulfed in raging flames, with sharp fangs and bloodthirsty glimmers flashing in its Giant Eyes.
After a moment of discernment, the massive form of the Crimson Flame Ape shot up and rushed toward the eastern part of the dense forest.
Ye Tian pulled Cold Moon and they ran for several miles before stopping. With focused perception, he sensed four auras rapidly moving around them.
Directly behind them, the closest was Yun'er. To the left and slightly behind, Duan Liu was also rushing over with all his might. The remaining two auras included one lurking three miles southeast, likely the previously driven-off Crimson Flame Ape.
The last aura was approaching Ye Tian's location at a speed more than twice that of Yun'er.
"Are you okay?"
"Are you okay?"
Both spoke simultaneously. Ye Tian chuckled lightly due to their mutual understanding, while Cold Moon awkwardly lowered her head.
Ye Tian asked again, and Cold Moon shook her head.
"I'm fine too." Ye Tian raised his arm to inspect it; his arm had been burned by the Void Fire spewed by the Crimson Flame Ape. However, because he possessed the Crimson Dragon Golden Blood body, the damage was limited to his skin. If it had been an ordinary person, that arm would have turned to ashes long ago.
Even so, Ye Tian was still greatly alarmed. The Crimson Dragon Golden Blood was still one of the most extreme flames in existence; that Void Fire could actually cause him harm—this was truly extraordinary.
"Wait a minute..."
As he pondered, Ye Tian suddenly realized something. He hadn't even activated the full power of the Crimson Dragon Golden Blood yet; how could he talk about extreme flames? Getting burned was already fortunate; not being burned to death was good enough.
"What’s wrong?" Cold Moon's expression had returned to normal.

He certainly could not tell Cold Moon about possessing the Crimson Dragon Golden Blood; it was not the right time yet. This was not because he did not trust Cold Moon, but because Crimson Dragon Golden Blood involved too many matters, the main one being the downfall of the Cold Family...
After a moment, Yun'er's presence grew closer, and after half a cup of tea's time, she finally appeared before the two.
"How are you?!" Yun'er rushed to Ye Tian's side, bending down to check the injury on his arm.
"I'm fine." Ye Tian signaled to Yun'er, indicating that she should not let anything slip.
Ignoring Ye Tian, Yun'er carefully examined him and finally felt relieved. She then sighed and asked, "Should we still..."
"Yes! Of course we should. If we don't deal with that Red-Furred Monkey today, I will be really angry," Ye Tian said half-jokingly.
"We're already within range." Yun'er focused her senses and then spoke up.
Upon hearing this, a glimmer flickered in Cold Moon's eyes. For some reason, she always felt that Ye Tian and Yun'er were hiding some enormous secret. Take their sensing ability for example; their strength was clearly below hers, yet their sensing capability far exceeded her own, which did not make sense.
"They're here!"
Just as Cold Moon was pondering this, Ye Tian's serious voice suddenly rang in her ears.
