Duan Liu stopped being verbose, and the surroundings seemed to suddenly quiet down. The sky was deep, with only the sound of the wind and rain.
Moments later, a figure rushed over, and with his arrival, the pouring rain seemed to ease slightly.
"He's here." Duan Liu was evidently influenced by the Crimson Flame Ape again, his tone quite excited as he suddenly sprang up, ready to rush out.
Ye Tian quickly reached out to hold him back, casting a look of extreme annoyance.

"Tell me more about it," the White-Furred Giant Ape insisted.
"Hey! What do you think we owe you?" Duan Liu retorted angrily, disregarding their previous camaraderie and preparing to strike.
"Wait," Ye Tian quickly stepped in to block Duan Liu. They couldn't afford to fight; this guy was Yun'er's senior brother, and they must not turn against their own.
"Ye Tian, why are you so timid today?" Duan Liu was displeased, clearly under the influence of the Crimson Flame Mad Ape's True Form at that moment.
Furrowing his brows, Ye Tian ignored Duan Liu as he pondered how to resolve this situation. It was needless to say how happy Duan Liu was to have obtained the treasure; getting him to reveal it was practically impossible and far too cruel. The Honest Man, now back in human form, frowned as he looked at Ye Tian several times, seemingly filled with doubt. A flash of killing intent crossed his eyes.
He remembered that after Yun'er decided to infiltrate the Cloud Sea Sect for Ye Tian's sake, their master had given instructions on how to deal with Ye Tian: eliminate him next time they met!
