Chapter 262: Something Happened to Hao Meiyun
Something indeed happened to Hao Meiyun, and it all stemmed from the Blood Curse Gate card.
Hong Qichang came out of the Emperor Hotel drunk that night, and it wasn't until the next afternoon that he realized his card, along with his wallet, was missing.
This discovery sent a chill down his spine. He knew that losing the card not only endangered his own life but could also lead to the instant destruction of Azure Cloud Group.
His face turned ashen.
Fortunately, Hong Qichang's mind remained relatively calm. He sat on the bed and smoked three cigarettes in succession, his awareness seemingly sharpening. He remembered being helped by two waitresses at the Emperor Hotel when he was about to get into a car and felt as if he had been bumped into by two people coming from behind.
Had he encountered a thief?
There were surveillance cameras in the parking lot of the Emperor Hotel. Hong Qichang immediately picked up his phone and asked the hotel boss, Kong Mingsheng, to retrieve last night's surveillance footage, copy it onto a disk, and personally deliver it to him.
Before long, Kong Mingsheng appeared in the Hong Family's living room.
"Follow me!" Hong Qichang led Kong Mingsheng into the study.
He took the disk from Kong Mingsheng's hand, inserted it into the computer, and the footage gradually unfolded until it finally focused on a particular scene.
The person who bumped into him was a young girl, assisted by a young man.
In one scene, the girl reaches into his pocket.
Next comes the moment when the young man quickly takes the girl by the arm and leaves.

Clatter!
Hong Qichang's face suddenly darkened. He slammed his fist on the table, causing a teacup to shake violently and fall to the ground, shattering into pieces.
Kong Mingsheng, watching the footage, finally understood that Hong Qichang had encountered a thief. He must have lost something extremely important; otherwise, he wouldn't be so anxious and red-faced, demanding that the surveillance video be pulled up.
He looked sympathetically at the couple frozen on the screen. Why did they choose to steal from this formidable figure? It was like asking for death!
"Old Kong," Hong Qichang pointed at the man and woman in the footage and asked Kong Mingsheng, "Do you recognize these two?"
Kong Mingsheng carefully examined them and shook his head, fearfully replying, "I don't know these two people!"
"This is none of your business; you can leave!" Hong Qichang waved his hand at Kong Mingsheng.
As soon as Kong Mingsheng left, he called over one of his Five Tiger Generals, Lu Shan.
Hong Qichang handed him the printed image and said coldly, "Even if you have to turn the entire Galactic District upside down, find these two people."
Lu Shan stared at the person in the picture and said, "Uh, isn't that Cheng Hu and that Red Sister?"
"What's wrong? Do you know these two?" Hong Qichang asked, his eyes shining with excitement.
"Yes," Lu Shan replied. "This Cheng Hu is the son of Cheng Yuanzhao. Didn't we just use a scheme to shut down his father's company? This guy and that Red Sister were originally from the Wolf Gang at West City Hall, but for some reason, they were kicked out by Lu Jiutang not long ago."
Hong Qichang's gaze froze. "Are you sure he is Cheng Yuanzhao's son?"
He thought to himself, could this kid already know that I am from the Blood Curse Gate and is deliberately colluding with Red Sister to steal my card as revenge?
Impossible. No one in the Galactic District could know my identity within the Blood Curse Gate.
"Yes," Lu Shan said curiously. "I heard that Red Sister is even this kid's lover. Boss, what do you want with them?"
Hong Qichang's expression darkened. "You don't need to worry about that. Just quickly bring those two to me!"
Lu Shan acknowledged and was about to leave when Hong Qichang called him back: "Lu Shan, have you found out anything about the one who hit my son, Xiao Yun? Who exactly is he?"
Lu Shan replied, "I had someone investigate. I heard he is a Bone Painter, specializing in treating women by painting their bones. That singer Feng Wushuang was saved by him; he has quite a few women around him."
"Oh, is that all?" Hong Qichang asked.
Lu Shan said, "That's all I could find out. Boss, do you want me to send a few of my men to teach him a lesson?"
"Forget it, it's a good thing for Hong Wu to suffer a bit; it will help temper his aggression and prevent him from running wild outside. For now, let's not touch Xiao Yun!" Hong Qichang said.
"Understood!" Lu Shan replied and then left.
At this time, it was getting late. Lu Shan gathered a few subordinates and went directly to Cheng Yuanzhao's doorstep, only to find out that the Cheng family had moved that afternoon.
After inquiring with the neighbors on either side, no one knew where the Cheng family had gone.
Upon receiving this report from Lu Shan, Hong Qichang was furious. Could it be that the Cheng family already knew he was going to capture their son and moved away to avoid him?
"You immediately mobilize all your brothers to find them! We must locate them!" Hong Qichang shouted angrily. He did not believe that the Cheng family could hide away in some far-off place.

Little did they know that Cheng Hu and Red Sister had already been sent by Xiao Yun to Panlong Mountain, while Cheng Yuanzhao and his wife had moved into a house at the Jincheng South Road Intersection.
Cheng Yuanzhao was very satisfied with their new home. Early that morning, he said to Hao Meiyun, "Meiyun, we really have to thank Brother Xiao Yun for this wonderful place. If it weren't for him, we might have ended up on the streets. Let's invite Xiao Yun over for dinner today to show our gratitude!"
Hao Meiyun was more than happy to invite their son over, smiling as she said, "Sure, I'll go buy some groceries right now. You prepare some cigarettes and alcohol at home."
"Okay, I'll give Xiao Yun a call shortly to let him know!" Cheng Yuanzhao replied.
Hao Meiyun said, "You don't need to call him; after I finish shopping, I'll drop by his place and say hello!"

"Go to hell, I'm his mother! What sincerity are you talking about? Nonsense!" Hao Meiyun glared at him.
Hao Meiyun picked up a basket and crossed two streets to the vegetable market, which was not far from Rose Garden Community. She planned to buy some vegetables and then visit her son's house.
When she left the Xiao Family, her son was very young, and over the years, she had no idea what his favorite food was. She considered what vegetables she should buy that he would like when suddenly she felt a heavy hand on her shoulder.
Hao Meiyun was taken aback and turned around to find a strong, dark-skinned man standing in front of her. He was quite tall but had a rough appearance and asked, "Who are you?"
This man was Lu Shan. He had seen Hao Meiyun before, but she did not recognize him.
"You must be Cheng Hu's mother, right?" Lu Shan asked with a forced smile.
Hao Meiyun nodded and said, "Yes."
"Someone is looking for you. Please come with me!" Lu Shan said.
Lu Shan led Hao Meiyun into a small alley where a car was parked. A few young men with dyed yellow hair stood nearby, each with a fierce look in their eyes.
Hao Meiyun sensed something was wrong and tried to turn and run, but it was too late. Lu Shan struck her neck with a knife-hand strike, and she immediately collapsed to the ground.
"Get her into the car and take her away!" Lu Shan ordered the group of blond kids.
