"From what you described, the ghost from the Jin Yang Family should not have reached the level of a deity; it's just a ghost with some skills!" Kong Xuan stroked his stubble, pondering, "There are also some portals in the Yin-Yang Realm that resemble temporal rifts. It's possible that this ghost unintentionally entered the human realm through one of those rifts." 0

"I don't care how powerful it is; what I want to know is, do you have any way to deal with it?" This was what I needed to know most and the real reason I came to find Kong Xuan. 0

"Tsk tsk, your IQ balance is seriously lacking. You're a person with a Yin-Yang Physique; aside from those deities and cultivators from the Great Vehicle Realm, who else could harm you with spells? Plus, your combat skills are decent enough to confront that ghost!" Kong Xuan looked at me in surprise, as if my question was too foolish. 0

I recalled the incident in the Jin Yang Family's restroom when Red Shadow lunged at me. I wasn't harmed at all. It seemed Kong Xuan was right; this ghost truly couldn't do anything to me. Since that's the case, what was there to fear? 0

Wait a minute, but I couldn't do anything to it either. That punch I threw just hit air, didn't it? 0

I shared my doubts with Kong Xuan, who frowned and said, "That's true; you haven't cultivated, so you can't inflict damage on ghosts." 0

"So, you still have to come with me!" I said with a smile. 0

"Do you think I'm joking? My master doesn't allow me to catch ghosts because my skills aren't deep enough. He told me to focus on cultivation for ten years before I can go out into the world. Let me put it this way: my magical powers were sealed by my master before he died, and the duration is ten years!" Kong Xuan sighed deeply. "I'm just indulging in talk." 0

"Isn't Nan Kong just you? Did you rely on bragging to get here?" I couldn't help but laugh. 0

"Shut up! Nan Kong refers to the Kong Family and Xiao Family. In our sect, everyone must be surnamed Kong to enter, while the Xiao Family in the capital is a family passed down through generations." Kong Xuan said, "Besides, my theoretical knowledge is so rich that I'm not inferior compared to that girl from the Xiao Family in Beijing." 0

"How many more years until it's unsealed?" I asked hopefully. 0

Kong Xuan held up one finger. I hesitated and asked, "One more year?" 0

Kong Xuan chuckled bitterly. "That was only a year ago! Unless I can get my hands on a Hundred Flowers Dissolution Pill, tsk tsk, that's unrealistic. It would be faster if I teach you..." 0

Seeing that Kong Xuan didn't seem to be joking, I felt frustrated. Although I learned many things from him, my original intention was to find someone to deal with ghosts; from that perspective, I still gained nothing. 0

However, before leaving, Kong Xuan taught me some basic knowledge about how to open the Yin-Yang Eye to identify ghosts and how to communicate with them. Perhaps due to my Yin-Yang Physique, I picked this up quite quickly; Kong Xuan repeatedly praised my exceptional talent. In the end, I borrowed the Yin-Yang Ancient Coin from him for emergencies—to use it against that ghost if necessary. Kong Xuan scratched his head and praised my thoughtful planning; since the Yin-Yang Ancient Coin could harm people, it would surely be able to harm ghosts as well. 0

He casually handed me the box, completely unconcerned that I might break it. I took out the copper coins and returned the box to him, smiling, "I'm not afraid; carrying this box is just a burden!" 0

After saying goodbye to Kong Xuan, I called Ding Fatty and asked him to come with me to the Jin Family tomorrow. Ding Fatty had just received a call from Lingfeng about the situation at the Jin Family and nervously asked if going there like this would be like walking into a death trap. 0

I confidently assured him that I had learned powerful techniques from a master! Ordinary ghosts were nothing to me! After all, ordinary ghosts couldn't do anything to me; I wasn't lying. 0

Ding Fatty was overjoyed at my words and immediately pressed for details. I recounted what Kong Xuan had told me, and after his enthusiastic praises, I proudly hung up the phone. 0

The next morning, Ding Fatty and I met at the District Entrance. The guards at the entrance booth saw us and were too lazy to check; they just let us through. 0

Upon entering the Jin Family Villa, I sensed that the atmosphere was different. There were many Black-clad Men in the room, all around their forties or fifties, with rugged faces exuding a sense of menace. 0

When they saw us, a large black man stopped us and reported to Jin Zhenzhong. Jin Zhenzhong came out from inside and, seeing Ding Fatty behind me, asked in surprise, "Is this your backup?" 0

I laughed and said, "My backup isn't a person; it's this Yin Yang Ancient Coin!" I proudly waved the Yin Yang Ancient Coin in front of Jin Zhenzhong. 0

Jin Zhenzhong didn't ask further and waved over a man in black, pointing at me and saying, "Whatever he wants to do, you all just let him be!" 0

The man in black nodded without saying a word and walked away on his own. 0

I lowered my voice and asked, "Who are these people? Why do they have such a strong killing intent?" 0

Jin Zhenzhong chuckled lightly, "They're all veterans of the Vietnam War, men who crawled out from piles of corpses. A friend of mine has a few like them around; no ghost dares to come near!" 0

I glanced around; there were at least ten Black-clad Men in this room. Wow, with such a setup, even ghosts wouldn't dare approach. I couldn't help but marvel at Jin Zhenzhong's efficiency; in just one night, he had gathered so many Vietnam War veterans. These weren't just ordinary retired soldiers. 0

Ding Fatty and I went up to the second floor and pushed open Jin Yang's room door. 0

We headed straight for the bathroom. I took out the Willow Leaf that Kong Xuan had given me and rubbed it over my eyes while silently reciting a spell. There was no reaction at all. Ding Fatty looked at me with some skepticism, and I awkwardly cursed, "Motherfucker, this spell is too complicated! I'm still new at this; it's natural for me to be a bit clumsy!" 0

After reciting it several times, my vision suddenly darkened, as if I had put on a pair of sunglasses. Everything in front of me became hazy, and numerous red footprints appeared—on the floor, the walls, the Flower Board, and even on the toilet. 0

Fatty noticed I was frozen and patted my shoulder. "Are you okay? If not, we should leave!" 0

I quickly replied, "I'm fine, I'm fine, Fatty. Did you see the footprints?" 0

"What footprints?" Fatty asked, somewhat bewildered. 0

I realized that Willow Leaf's spell had taken effect. I raised my Index Finger to signal Fatty to be quiet and focused my attention. 0

These footprints looked exactly like human footprints; to be precise, they resembled those of a child. It was as if a seven or eight-year-old child had covered their feet in red paint and then ran around the room. 0

Aside from the footprints, there was nothing else in the room. The ghost that Kong Xuan mentioned was not here. Could it have been scared away by the old soldiers summoned by Jin Zhenzhong? After leaving the bathroom, I took a look around Jin Yang's bedroom. The ghost's footprints were everywhere, particularly dense on the windowsill. It seemed this ghost had entered through the window. 0

After thinking for a moment, I ran to Old Man Jin's room on the third floor. There were no traces of any ghosts in Old Man Jin's room. Hmm, could it be that this ghost is only interested in Jin Yang? 0

To confirm this, I walked around the Jin family's villa and indeed found no ghostly footprints anywhere else. I reported my findings to Jin Zhenzhong, who let out a long sigh but then furrowed his brow again, likely worried about Jin Yang. 0

Just when I was pondering what to do next, my phone buzzed with a WeChat message. I opened it; it was from Yang Guo'er asking me to come to her room later. 0

I casually chatted with Jin Zhenzhong for a bit and made my way to Yang Guo'er's room under the pretense of checking something again. I didn't want anyone from the Jin family to know about my relationship with Yang Guo'er; it was purely instinctive. 0

The door to Yang Guo'er's room was slightly ajar. I knocked lightly, and she responded from inside. I pushed the door open and closed it behind me. Clearing my throat, I asked, "Guo'er, what's up?" 0

It felt awkward calling her by her full name; saying Yang Guo'er didn't roll off the tongue easily, while calling her Guo'er felt too intimate. In the end, I settled on Guo'er. Ding Fatty also chimed in with a wink and said, "Hello, Guo'er!" 0

Yang Guo'er wasn't shy at all; she greeted us with a bright smile and invited us to sit down. She poured each of us a glass of water and got straight to the point after we settled in: "I think Li Chao is acting strangely." 0

"How so?" I set my cup down and tapped on the table twice as a gesture of thanks. 0

Yang Guo'er brushed her hair back, revealing her delicate face, with her brows slightly furrowed. "Yesterday in the living room, I was standing next to Li Chao when Young Master Yang complained about Uncle Jin. I noticed that Li Chao's expression changed dramatically; he was breathing rapidly and looked completely flustered." 0

Ding Fatty opened his mouth to speak, but I quickly stopped him. I knew what he was thinking. Li Chao had been discussing Jin Xinghua behind his back, and being confronted about it would naturally leave him panicked. Although it wouldn't lead to him being fired like Squid, he would definitely be resented by Jin Xinghua, making his life difficult in the Jin Family from then on. It was only natural for him to change color at that moment. 0

This alone wasn't enough to indicate something was wrong; Yang Guo'er surely had more to say. Sure enough, she continued, "After Young Master Yang's incident, Uncle Jin asked me to help manage some household affairs. I certainly wouldn't refuse; I need to keep an eye on the family's matters and the Spirit Tent's affairs. In the late night, I felt a bit cold near the Spirit Tent, so I went back to grab a jacket. As I passed by Li Chao's room, I unexpectedly heard arguing." 0

"Arguing?" I frowned. 0

"Yes, arguing, and it was quite intense. But the door was tightly closed; I could only hear Li Chao's voice and couldn't make out the other person's voice. I didn't dare listen closely and just went into my own room," Yang Guo'er said. 0

"He wasn't on the phone with someone, was he?" Ding Fatty finally couldn't hold back and asked. 0

Yang Guo'er smiled at Ding Fatty. "That's what I thought at first too. Just as I entered my room, I heard Li Chao's door open. My curiosity piqued, and just as I was about to open my door to take a look, Li Chao shouted from across the hall, 'Did you take away the peach?' Then the door slammed shut. When I opened my door to check, there was nothing there." 0

Did he just say someone took away the peach? 0

Could it be that Li Chao knows who took it? 0

Was that ghost arguing with Li Chao in his room? 0
