Indeed, ‘Isolated from the World’ did not deceive me; this key really weighs over two hundred pounds. I shouted and lifted the key, while Fatty quickly grabbed the other end, and the two of us hurried back to the elevator. 0

That's right, we were scared. What if that infrared system returned to normal? This was no joke; in an instant, everything could vanish without a trace, leaving no chance for last words. One must cherish life and stay away from danger. 0

After reaching the first floor, we carried the key out of the elevator. I checked my phone; it was now 2 AM. Damn ‘Isolated from the World’ still hadn’t called. 0

I told Fatty to wait and walked to President Su's office to return that bottle of red wine to its original place. Back in the Coffee Room, I felt aimless. The two of us stared at each other blankly, unsure of what to do next. We were supposed to exchange the key for Guo'er, but how would we do that? Where would we go to make the exchange? 0

As time ticked by, I couldn’t help but worry. If Old Wang returned when it was light or if someone else came to take over for him, this whole thing would be exposed. They would know the key had been stolen and would surely guard the Portal with heavy security or even change the locks. Wouldn't that mean all our efforts were in vain? 0

It wasn't until around 3 AM that ‘Isolated from the World’ finally called. I quickly updated them on our situation and asked when we would exchange the key. 0

Upon hearing that I had obtained the key, ‘Isolated from the World’ was very pleased and laughed loudly for a moment. However, when I mentioned the exchange, there was a long silence before they said, “Zheng Nan, when am I supposed to come over to exchange with you?” 0

I immediately panicked and cursed loudly, “You bastard! You clearly said that as long as I stole the key, you would release Guo'er!” 0

There was another moment of silence before they outright refused: “Do you have a recording? Without a recording, you’re full of crap.” 0

I was furious: “Fine, if that's how it is, then let’s just part ways. You can kill Yang Guo'er; I’ll call Xu Qingyu right now and tell them the key has been stolen.” 0

A silence fell between us again. After my anger subsided, I felt some concern; they wouldn’t really go through with killing Guo'er, would they? Although this key was very important to them, Guo'er was even more important to me. 0

Suddenly, I heard heavy breathing on the other end of the line. A thought flashed through my mind: this ‘Isolated from the World’ wasn’t a computer program but rather someone using a special device to alter their voice. Who could this person be? 0

“Zheng Nan, I was just joking! No need to take it so seriously,” ‘Isolated from the World’ suddenly changed their tone. 0

I took advantage of this shift: “What should I do next? It’s almost dawn.” 0

‘Isolated from the World’ paused for a moment: “You guys wait downstairs at Golden Peak Building with the key. I'll have someone drive over to pick you up. As soon as I get the key, I'll release her immediately.” 0

After hanging up the phone, I followed Yang the Fatty out of the company and down to the ground floor. The security guard downstairs stared wide-eyed at the keys we were carrying: "Wow, is that really a key?" 0

I laughed, "This is an activity model we made for an event called 'Opening the Door to Wealth.' You get it, right?" 0

The guard chuckled, "Damn, this door to wealth is really impressive." 0

Once outside the building, we waited for about ten minutes at the entrance when a black Volkswagen suddenly screeched to a stop in front of us. I thought it was a Passat, but Fatty exclaimed that it was a Phaeton, which could be exchanged for several Passats. 0

The driver was an unremarkable middle-aged man, and sitting in the passenger seat was a black-clad man I recognized; he was one of the four who had pointed a gun at my head in Jiang Haoyu's house. 0

As soon as we got into the car and closed the door, the middle-aged man slammed on the gas, and the car shot forward. Within seconds, I saw the speedometer hit 160. 0

Fortunately, there were hardly any cars on the road at this hour, and the middle-aged man was a skilled driver. After about ten minutes of driving, he suddenly stopped with a screech. I looked out the window and thought, hey, isn't this Civic Center Square? 0

The Golden Peak Building is in Yuhua District, while Civic Center Square is in Qinghu District; normally it takes at least half an hour to drive here. Did we fly over? 0

The black-clad man smiled at me and said, "Mr. Zhong, Mr. Ding, you can get out now." 0

Fatty and I exchanged glances and got out of the car while carrying the keys. 0

Civic Center Square is a landmark plaza in Star City. The square is vast, roughly the size of four standard football fields, not including the surrounding green lawns and gardens. 0

In the center of the square stood a large fountain that was currently not spraying water, surrounded by six people. 0

The black-clad man gestured with his chin for us to approach. With no choice, Fatty and I walked over while the middle-aged man retrieved a suitcase from the trunk and followed behind us. 0

As we got closer, our attention was immediately drawn to one of the individuals—a beautiful woman whose appearance seemed sculpted by divine hands. Her figure was incredibly alluring; I had seen many beauties before but none compared to her—not even Qing Qiu. 0

The woman smiled at us, her long eyelashes fluttering under the streetlights in an enchanting manner. Just as Fatty and I were staring in awe, a cold snort came from beside us. 0

That snapped us back to reality as we quickly assessed the others. Among the six people were three familiar faces—the same black-clad men from Jiang Haoyu's house—along with two oddly dressed individuals clad in black robes from head to toe, wearing motorcycle helmets. Their attire made it impossible to distinguish whether they were male or female. 0

The cold snort just now came from one of the men in black robes. Could it be that these two helmeted figures are Guo'er and Lingfeng? Was the one who snorted Guo'er? As this thought crossed my mind, a cold sweat broke out on my forehead. Then I realized something was off; Lingfeng was taller than both of them, while Guo'er was shorter. If they weren't Guo'er and the cool breeze, then who were they? Why were they acting so secretively? 0

The six people in front of me formed a triangle, with the first being a woman who looked like an immortal, followed by two men in black robes, and three black-clad men behind them. It seemed that the leader was this beautiful woman. 0

I signaled to Fatty, and we placed the key on the ground before addressing the beautiful woman, "Are you 'Isolated from the World'?" 0

The beauty shook her head, smiled gently, like a hundred flowers blooming in spring, her voice as pleasant as a yellow oriole: "My surname is Ai, Aijia Yu." 0

Today there is a beautiful person, speaking with a charming smile. The Fairy Sister of Duanyu from Dragon Eight Parts is nothing compared to her. 0

"If you are sent by 'Isolated from the World,' then you should fulfill your promise now, right? We have delivered the key; where are they? Where are Guo'er and Lingfeng?" Thinking of Guo'er made the allure of the beauty in front of me diminish significantly. 0

"Lingfeng will be seen very soon!" Aijia Yu smiled brightly. 0

"Where?" I turned my head to look around. 0

"Follow me." Aijia Yu turned and walked toward the center of the fountain. This fountain was a ground fountain; when not activated, it looked like any ordinary square. 0

Aijia Yu and her group walked straight to the center of the fountain. Stopping and turning around, Aijia Yu smiled at me: "Come over here, why are you just standing there?" 0

I nodded at Fatty, and we both carried the key to the center of the fountain, closely followed by the Middle-Aged Man and the black-clad men behind us. 0

"Get closer." Aijia Yu called out to Fatty, who immediately stood next to her with a look of enjoyment. Aijia Yu didn't mind at all; she just smiled sweetly. 0

"Alright, let's begin!" Aijia Yu clapped her hands. The Middle-Aged Man behind me, who was almost responsible for making Huaiteng take off, approached with a suitcase in his left hand and a black remote control in his right hand. He pressed one of the buttons. 0

Suddenly, water columns erupted from the fountain. I had played at Civic Center Square before and knew that this central fountain could display various shapes such as dandelions, morning glories, mushrooms, and peacocks opening their tails, enhanced by music and lights; it looked stunning at night. 0

At this moment, it seemed that what the Middle-Aged Man controlled was an entirely different system. I had never seen such shapes at Civic Center Square's fountain; water columns surrounded us in a circular curtain wall. The force of the water was so great that I could not see anything outside. 0

"Continue," Aijia Yu whispered. The Middle-Aged Man pressed another button. 0

A series of rustling sounds emerged, surprisingly coming from beneath our feet. In the center of the fountain, a dark hole appeared, leading down into the ground with a set of concrete stairs. Wow, there’s actually a tunnel beneath Civic Center Square? 0

“Please enter!” Aijia Yu gestured for us to go in. I simply shook my head. Am I stupid? If I go in, you’ll just close the switch and trap me inside! 0

Aijia Yu smiled slightly and walked in, followed closely by the two men in black robes and helmets. The remaining four Black-clad Men and the Middle-Aged Man looked at me, signaling for us to enter. 0

“Let’s go!” I gritted my teeth and, along with Fatty, carried the key down the stairs. 0

After descending about twenty stairs, a rustling sound came from behind us as the passage was closed off. The five men followed us inside. 0

The passage was approximately four meters high and three meters wide, with large Azure Bricks lining both sides. The ceiling was semi-rounded, giving the space a rather spacious feel. Every ten meters or so, there was a wall lamp that illuminated the entire tunnel as bright as day. 0

After walking over a hundred meters, we encountered a bend, either left or right, but the stairs continued downward. After about twenty minutes of walking, we had descended at least two to three hundred meters underground, and the air gradually became stuffy and humid. 0

“Are we there yet?” I couldn’t help but shout loudly. “This key is so heavy; why don’t you guys switch places with someone else?” 0

Looking at how deep we had gone underground, I vaguely felt that things were not looking good. Damn it, how could Lingfeng and Guo'er possibly be down here? I should let them carry the key while Fatty and I recover some strength for emergencies. 0
