I called the front desk and asked for a service staff to come up. Upon seeing the broken door we had kicked in, she couldn't help but gasp in surprise. I quickly made up a story and handed her a hundred yuan, asking her to help put on Aijia Yu's clothes. After she finished dressing her, I called the staff out again, promising that the cost of the broken door would be settled separately before sending her away. 0

After waiting at the door for about ten minutes, Kong Xuan called me in. Upon entering the room, I saw that Aijia Yu was already standing up. 0

"Are you alright?" I asked suspiciously. 0

Aijia Yu moved around a bit, stretched her limbs, then closed her eyes to feel for a moment: "I'm fine. Kong Xuan, thank you!" 0

Kong Xuan waved his hand with a grin: "We're all in this together, no need for such formalities." 0

"How did this happen?" Once I confirmed that Aijia Yu was okay, I finally asked. 0

"I'm not sure. After falling asleep last night, I had a very strange dream!" Aijia Yu frowned as she recalled it carefully. 0

Hey, I'm asking you what happened, and you're telling me about a strange dream? I raised an eyebrow at Kong Xuan, wondering if this girl had any lingering effects. 0

"This dream felt so real and terrifying. I... I couldn't tell what was a dream and what was reality," Aijia Yu seemed to remember the horror of the dream and couldn't help but shiver. 0

Come on, you're a martial arts master! Are you scared just from a dream? I found it hard to believe. 0

"What kind of dream? Let's hear it," Kong Xuan seemed very interested. 0

"In the dream, there was slaughter everywhere on Earth, with crowds fleeing in panic. The ones carrying out the killings were some white shadows, one of which was particularly huge. The words spoken by these white shadows were not human language, yet somehow I could understand them; they were shouting to kill all humans... kill all humans..." Aijia Yu said with a tremble. 0

"Then what happened?" Kong Xuan's voice sounded a bit strange. 0

"Then another red shadow appeared, and it fought against the White Shadow. Although it cut the massive White Shadow in half, it itself turned to nothingness. Yet, the severed White Shadow was still alive, constantly crying out for help, 'Come save me, come save me...'" Aijia Yu's face began to pale. "In my dream, I was watching from the side. When that white shadow called for help and glanced at me, I suddenly couldn't move or shout until I woke up, only to realize I truly couldn't move or shout." 0

After Aijia Yu finished speaking, she looked at me as if she noticed my skeptical expression and gave a bitter smile. "I can't describe that kind of slaughter. The most gruesome adjectives I can think of are bloody and gory, but those two descriptions don't even begin to capture its brutality." 0

After all, she's just a girl; what's there to be afraid of? It's just bloodshed, right? However, the fact that the white shadow could glance at Aijia Yu in her dream and impose a Restriction on her is incredibly impressive. 0

After Aijia Yu finished speaking, the three of us fell silent. I lit a cigarette and casually offered one to Kong Xuan, but she didn't reach out to take it. I called out loudly, and only then did Kong Xuan come back to her senses and take the cigarette. 0

"What are you thinking about?" I asked curiously. 0

"Zheng Nan, do you remember what An Ran said last time at my house?" Kong Xuan lit her cigarette and took a puff. The smoke came out of her mouth and went back in through her nose; this was an instinctive action of a seasoned smoker. Generally, when someone does this, it means they are deep in thought. 0

"Huh? Which one?" 0

"She said she is the Moon Demon Heir!" 0

"Right! You never explained to me what this Moon Demon thing is!" I found it strange that Kong Xuan suddenly brought up the Moon Demon. A hint of doubt arose in my heart—could Aijia Yu's dream be related to the Moon Demon? 0

"In that book Yin Yang Essays, there are records about the Moon Demon. I'll try to explain it simply," Kong Xuan cleared her throat. "The Moon Demon and the Sun God, although they are both labeled as divine beings, are actually beyond the Yin-Yang Realm. To put it another way, they can be considered entities that can rival the Judgment of Life and Death." 0

"Is that true?" I shuddered slightly and exclaimed with a trendy phrase: "This world actually has such powerful beings? Isn't the Judgment of Life and Death supposed to be the most powerful?" 0

I admit my thoughts were somewhat dark—an unsettling kind of darkness. The Judgment of Life and Death controls the entire world alone; how boring is that? Now there are two entities that can contend with it; if these guys were to fight... the viewership would definitely be impressive. 0

Kong Xuan then said, "However, they haven't even had the chance to challenge the Judgment of Life and Death before they started fighting among themselves. The Moon Demon seeks to gain power through slaughter, while..." 0

"The Sun God is here to protect humanity, right?" I interjected confidently. 0

"Wrong. The Sun God doesn't have any good intentions either. Let me put it this way: the Moon Demon wants to kill us humans for a stir-fry, while the Sun God... well, that's not good. I prefer steamed dishes... and so they began to fight." Kong Xuan's example was so straightforward that I was left dumbfounded. 0

"After one intense confrontation, the Sun God died on the spot, and the Moon Demon fell into an endless slumber. I believe you can guess what that means: yes, Aijia Yu's dream of the White Shadow is the Moon Demon, while the Red Shadow is the Sun God." Kong Xuan chuckled bitterly, "From the current situation, it seems that the Moon Demon is showing signs of awakening." 0

"The white shadows in Ai Meng's dreams are the Moon Demon Heir possessing An Ran?" I pondered for a moment and asked. 0

"That should be it," Kong Xuan nodded. 0

"Regardless of whether it's the Sun God or the Moon Demon, we should take advantage of their weakness. The Aging effect on it hasn't dissipated yet; we need to find it and kill it quickly." I summarized. 0

I glanced at Kong Xuan and saw his distracted expression, which made me angry. "Why do you lack confidence? Haven't we already beaten her into submission?" 0

Kong Xuan was taken aback for a moment before a faint smile appeared on his face. "Alright then, let's kill it!" 0

He took out a Tablet and pointed at the map. "Currently, she is in a village called Tian Zhuang. We shouldn't delay; let's head there right away." 0

After going downstairs and settling the bill at the front desk, I checked the time—it was already two in the afternoon. I hailed a taxi, but when the Taxi Driver heard we were going to Tian Zhuang, he shook his head vigorously. "Guys, it's not that I'm refusing to take you; it's just that my car has a low chassis. Only a Tractor can get into those mountain areas!" With that, he stepped on the gas and sped off. 0

A Tractor? Why not just fly there? 0

With no other option, I called Qu Changfeng. He had insisted on giving me a business card last night; within Mint County, he was available at any time. Since that's the case, I might as well ask for his help. 0

"Listen to me," Qu Changfeng laughed, "What's the big deal? Where are you? I'll have someone send a car over. By the way, since you're not familiar with the road conditions, I'll send you an experienced driver. I'm in a meeting, so I won't come over." 0

After I provided the address and hung up the phone, about ten minutes later, an SUV drove up. A middle-aged man with graying temples leaned out of the window and greeted us to get in the car. 0

"My name is Nong Zihao. As a farmer, I am very proud to be Nong Zihao." After starting the car, the middle-aged man cheerfully introduced himself. He was indeed an experienced driver; we hardly felt any bumps during gear shifts. 0

As we passed by Old Li's statue, Nong Zihao couldn't help but point outside with his thumb, his face filled with pride: "Old Li is our pride in Mint!" 0

We all nodded in agreement. We held deep respect for these older revolutionary figures. Kong Xuan even responded loudly, "Old Li is not just your pride in Mint; he is also our pride in China!" 0

Hearing Kong Xuan say this made Nong Zihao's face light up like a blooming flower... well, more like a blooming lotus. He happily said, "Haha, this brother really knows how to talk! Old Li participated in the revolution back in the day and generously donated gold bars from his home to solve the urgent needs of the revolutionary government at that time. Just this generosity alone is worthy of admiration. And not only was Old Li good at fighting, but he could also write poetry. The poem inscribed on that statue was written by Old Li." 0

"Oh? What poem?" Seeing Nong Zihao so animated, we felt his pride and had to join in. 0

"Narrow paths need not boast; charging ahead is truly bold. When no one is around to practice military skills, Erlang holds his spear and laughs." Nong Zihao recited a poem with enthusiasm: "What do you think? Isn't it bold?" 0

"Yes!" We weren't sure how to respond next. Although this poem had a bold spirit, fundamentally speaking, it could only be considered a light verse. 0

Once he started talking, Nong Zihao couldn't stop. Amidst his endless praises, we drove out of Longping Town. 0

After about half an hour, we turned onto a bumpy mountain road. No wonder that taxi driver couldn't come here with his low chassis; he wasn't lying to us. This road was simply a pile of rocks; it was the most insane road I had ever encountered—without exception. Although this SUV performed well and Nong Zihao's driving skills were excellent, we were still tossed around inside. 0

That Moon Demon really has issues coming to this remote area. 0

Every man has some degree of machismo. What does machismo mean? There isn't a clear boundary for it, but it certainly includes not letting women see one's weak side. Unfortunately, I failed in this regard; perhaps it was because I hadn't eaten lunch, but I actually got car sick. 0

I asked Nong Zihao to stop the car, and after vomiting for a while, I tearfully accepted the tissue that Aijia Yu handed me, weakly asking Nong Zihao, "How much longer?" 0

Nong Zihao smiled and glanced at his watch. "At most half an hour, and we will arrive at Tianzhuang Guesthouse." 0

If it were only a few minutes or ten minutes, I would have preferred to walk there. Hearing that it would take half an hour, I could only brace myself and continue in the car. 0

Strangely, I had never gotten car sick before; why was I feeling nauseous today? If it was because I hadn't had lunch, then how come Kong Xuan and Ai weren't feeling sick? I asked Kong Xuan in the car, and he looked at me disdainfully. "I don't talk to idiots who get car sick." 0

"Didn't you just talk to me?" Damn it, I got caught up in this nonsense; I'm not an idiot! How could Kong Xuan be so infuriating? 0

Finally, we arrived at Tianzhuang Guesthouse. I squatted in the yard with my eyes glazed over and vomited again before standing up. Kong Xuan and the others had already checked into the rooms. 0

After resting for a while, dinner in the countryside seemed particularly early. Nong Zihao had already arranged for dinner to be ready. When I sat down, I saw that the meat was from their own pigs, and the vegetables were freshly picked. It tasted exceptionally delicious. I ate three large bowls before picking up my wine glass to drink with Nong Zihao. 0

"You guys are here to treasure hunt, right?" Nong Zihao asked with a smile after downing a couple of glasses. 0
