Fatty has indeed gotten into trouble. 0

However, hearing this from the other party calms me down a bit, as I now know Fatty's whereabouts, unlike before when I felt so uncertain. 0

"Who are you? What do you want?" I took a deep breath and reminded myself to stay calm. 0

"Yesterday at noon, one of my brothers went to take over the territory of the Iron Blood Gang, but he was interrupted by you. Moreover, you were able to withstand my brother's level four strength, so I find you quite interesting." The voice on the other end was still as pleasant as ever, reminding me of someone—Lin Tao. Lin Tao has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard, and although it has the effect of Thunder Demon Sound, I can't deny that his vocal quality is genuinely impressive. 0

"Are you Wang Chuan's brother?" I asked in confusion. "What do you mean by level four strength?" 0

"He Dong Moon Bay, you'll know when you come!" The voice on the other end provided an address and hung up with a laugh. 0

It seems this person is from Wang Chuan's side; let's call them Underworld for now since that's how they refer to themselves. What exactly do these Underworld people want? After the bloody clash between Red Wolf Hall and Iron Blood Gang, both sides suffered heavy casualties. Now, at this moment, Underworld is brazenly intervening despite the unspoken rules among gangs in Sun City, and they have a freakishly skilled person like Wang Chuan under their command. What does this all mean? 0

Even stranger is that after occupying the headquarters of Red Wolf Hall, the Eastern Club, they haven't done anything except expel all the Ordinary Employees, turning the club into a ghost town. What are they really trying to achieve? 0

If it weren't for my timely appearance at this Foreign Trade Hotel, it would likely have already been taken over by Underworld. Would they also expel the employees from this hotel? Furthermore, now that they've kidnapped Fatty and want me to go to Moon Bay, what awaits me there? 0

"What's wrong?" Zhao Ting looked at me, curious as I remained silent. 0

"Nothing much. Do you know about Moon Bay?" I shook my head, trying to dismiss all those questions in my mind. Since I couldn't figure it out, I decided not to think about it for now. 0

"Moon Bay District? It's a new development that just opened recently. I've heard it's all large units, with each apartment over 150 square meters, and the average price starts at five thousand!" Zhao Ting said with an envious expression. A price of five thousand per square meter is already quite high for a fourth-tier city like Sun City. 0

What does Underworld want me to do? Buy a house or sell one? 0

"Moon Bay is located on Liberation Road in Hedong, right across from the Roman Grand Hotel," Zhao Ting continued. "A taxi ride there would cost around ten bucks." 0

"Okay, it should be fine here. I'm going out for a bit." After saying this to Zhao Ting, I ordered two hamburgers at KFC by the door and then took a taxi to Moon Bay. 0

The Moon Bay District, like all the properties in the country, was selling pre-construction units; the main framework was still unfinished, but the Sales Office stood magnificently at the entrance. 0

There was no one on the phone asking me to find anyone. Could it be that I was supposed to wait for him at the entrance? 0

I took out a hamburger and started nibbling while observing the Sales Office's entrance. Just as I was considering whether to go in and ask, a ragged child approached me. He looked about seven or eight years old and said nothing, just staring at the hamburger in my hand with a strange expression—not one of longing, but rather... curiosity. 0

"Do you want some?" I asked, noticing his gaze and pointing to the other intact hamburger in my hand. 0

The child nodded. I noticed a two-centimeter-long scar at the corner of his brow; I was familiar with this kind of scar—it was a knife wound. 0

Just as I was about to hand him the hamburger, I suddenly recalled a post online about volunteers from China and the U.S. going to Africa to aid impoverished children. Upon arriving, an African child ran over, and a Chinese volunteer tried to give him a biscuit, but an American volunteer stopped him. The American volunteer then asked the African child to help unload things from the car, offering the biscuit as a reward... 0

The point of that post was that poverty is not a fault, but if you easily give things to them, making them think that poverty can be a means of living without effort, then that's your mistake... 0

With this thought in mind, I squatted down and smiled, "I'll trade with you. You tell me where the nearest restroom is around here, and if you do, I'll reward you with this hamburger!" 0

The child turned and pointed at the Sales Office: "That's the restroom!" 0

"Hahaha!" I laughed heartily and patted the child's head as I handed him the hamburger. Indeed, there was a restroom inside the Sales Office; perhaps in his eyes, such a beautiful Sales Office was just a restroom—nothing more. 0

Alright then, since there's a restroom there, I'll pretend to go there. After ruffling the child's messy hair again, I stood up and walked toward the Sales Office. 0

"Sir, are you looking to buy a house?" A beautiful woman in uniform approached me. 0

"I'm just using the restroom; someone called me over!" I blurted out without thinking. If you understand what I mean, that's great; if not, just pretend I didn't say anything. 0

The saleswoman was taken aback for a moment and stammered, "Sir, what do you mean? Did someone call you to come here to use our restroom?" 0

It seemed she didn't understand, and just as I was about to ask her to contact the sales manager or someone similar, a person hurriedly walked in from outside. With sharp eyebrows, bright eyes, red lips, and white teeth, it was none other than Wang Chuan. 0

Upon seeing me, Wang Chuan waved his hand and greeted me, "You're here!" His voice was natural and friendly, like an old friend I hadn't seen in years. 0

"Yes!" I was unsure of what Wang Chuan was up to. My hand was already on my Spatial Bag, ready to draw my gun at the slightest movement. 0

"Come, let me show you the layout," Wang Chuan's sudden enthusiasm made me feel uncomfortable, but I couldn't afford to lose my temper. I had no choice but to follow him. 0

We stopped in front of a model of a housing layout. Wang Chuan halted and cheerfully pointed at the model, saying, "If you had to choose, what kind of layout would you pick?" 0

I glanced sideways at Wang Chuan, who was smiling warmly at me without any hint of hostility in his eyes. It was as if the person from yesterday wasn't him; now he was just a salesperson promoting real estate. 0

"What do you mean?" I asked coldly. "Where is Fatty? Where is he?" 0

"If you want to know Fatty's whereabouts, you'll have to listen to me," Wang Chuan replied with a smile. 0

"This one will do!" I casually pointed at a housing layout. 0

"Alright, this is a four-bedroom, two-living-room layout with a total area of 168 square meters. This does not include the entrance garden and the bonus balcony..." Wang Chuan immediately began introducing it in detail. 0

I nodded continuously as I followed his finger around. This is the master bedroom, this is the study, this is the children's room, and here is the living room with a bay window... After about five or six minutes, Wang Chuan finally finished explaining this unit. 0

Strangely enough, this layout actually had no windows. The designer of this model must have been quite lazy. 0

"Alright, let's go see the Model Room," Wang Chuan said as he led the way forward without looking back, clearly unafraid that I wouldn't follow him. 0

I walked to one of the buildings and took the elevator up to the fifth floor. Wang Chuan pushed open a room in front of me and smiled, saying, "This room is the four-bedroom, two-living room you just saw. Fatty is inside." 0

I shot him a suspicious glance and noticed a strange smile on his lips. I immediately felt something was off and quickly pulled out my gun. Before I could raise it, a blinding white light flashed before my eyes. Instinctively, I closed my eyes, and a sharp pain shot through the back of my head, as if a steel needle had pierced a blood vessel in my neck. A numbness rapidly spread through my body along with the blood vessels. 0

I let out a scream and aimed my gun behind me, pulling the trigger until all the bullets were spent. I vaguely heard bullets hitting something metallic, producing a series of pinging sounds. 0

The numbness quickly engulfed my entire body, and my mind became increasingly confused until I finally passed out. 0

When I opened my eyes again, the first thing I saw was Fatty's back. He was bouncing around the living room like a fat groundhog, turning his head to look around. I was lying on the sofa in the living room, which seemed to be the same room Wang Chuan had brought me into. 0

I shook my neck, feeling that the numbness had mostly faded away. I cleared my throat and sat up. 0

"Ghost Brother, you're awake!" Fatty turned around at the sound and asked with concern. 0

"What happened?" I pressed my temples and rubbed around my eye sockets. Damn it, years of eye exercises had made it a habit for me to press my temples, causing my index finger to naturally rub around my eye sockets. 0

"I just stepped out yesterday when I got pricked in the neck and fell asleep. When I woke up, I saw you," Fatty quickly explained before asking me in return, "How did you end up here?" 0

I recounted what had happened today, and we both found it hard to believe that Wang Chuan intended to keep us confined in this room. 0

After discussing for a while, we were still unsure of what Wang Chuan was planning. I stood up, but Fatty muttered nervously, "Ghost Brother, this room doesn't have any windows; it's so unscientific!" 0

No windows? I quickly looked around and realized that there were indeed no windows in the living room. I hurriedly checked every room; none of them had windows either. In fact, I couldn't even find the main door—there were no signs of any entrance where I had just come in. 0

"It feels like this room is sealed!" Fatty exclaimed behind me anxiously. 0

"That's nonsense! If it were sealed, we would have suffocated by now," I scoffed while observing my surroundings. "By the way, your eyesight is good; see if you can find anything unusual!" 0

"While you were unconscious just now, I already searched the place!" Fatty muttered. 0

"Did you find anything?" 0

"I did!" 0

"What did you find?" 0

"I found that this room has no exit at all; the walls are made of iron," Fatty said, looking a bit dejected. 0

I turned around in the room several times, growing more anxious with each rotation. This room was exactly the same as the model I had seen in the Sales Office—the style of the sofa in the living room, the direction of the wardrobe in the bedroom, and even the kitchen utensils and the orientation of the toilet were identical. Aside from the lighting in the room, there was no way to see outside; I couldn't even tell if it was day or night. 0

"There must be an exit; otherwise, how did we get in here?" I tried to reassure Fatty. 0

The two of us kept circling around the room. On our fourth round, Fatty suddenly pointed at the message board above the refrigerator in the living room and said, "Hey, there's writing on this message board!" 0

The more obvious things are, the easier they are to overlook. I chuckled wryly and leaned in to take a closer look. There were two lines written on it: 'Let's play an escape room game; all the clues are inside this room!' 0
