On the morning of the 21st, Fatty and I sneaked back from Room 805, each carrying two thousand dollars and sporting dark circles under our eyes. Without saying a word, we collapsed into bed. 0

Damn Penghu Bay, I must have been too tired; some things really do take a toll! 0

I slept until the afternoon when the piercing ringtone of my phone woke me up. Groggily, I answered it, only to find that Kong Xuan had arrived in Moon City and was asking where we were staying. I mumbled the name of the hotel and went back to sleep. 0

I don't know how long it was before there was a loud knocking at the door. Clearly, Kong Xuan had arrived. Rubbing my eyes, I opened the door, and as soon as Kong Xuan stepped in, he frowned and sniffed the air. "What is that smell?" 0

I grabbed a bucket of instant noodles and threw it at Fatty's head. "Fatty, get up and explain this to Kong Xuan!" 0

Fatty groggily got up, shook his head, and upon seeing Kong Xuan, chuckled and greeted him. He got up to drink a bottle of water, lit a cigarette, and then shared our wild experience from last night. 0

"Something feels off!" Kong Xuan sniffed again. 0

"Hey, it's just that you missed out on a good time! What's so off about it?" Fatty laughed at me. "Typical case of sour grapes!" 0

Ignoring Fatty, Kong Xuan turned to me and asked, "Did you feel anything unusual at that time?" 0

Fatty proudly chimed in from the side, "Nothing unusual! The technique was quite skilled!" 0

Seeing that Kong Xuan was serious, I thought for a moment and replied, "That President Wang seemed a bit cold!" 0

Kong Xuan frowned but didn't say anything. He took out two leaves from his pocket; they were vibrant green and translucent, looking as if they were carved from exquisite jade. He handed one to me and one to Fatty. "Hold it in your mouth and press it under your tongue." 0

Fatty and I exchanged glances; seeing that Kong Xuan wasn't joking made us somewhat puzzled, but we complied. 0

After holding the leaves for about a minute, Kong Xuan asked us to take them out. When we spat them into our palms, we were surprised to see faint black veins appearing on the emerald green leaves—quite eerie indeed. 0

Kong Xuan tore off a tissue from the table, took the leaves, and wiped away our drool, snorting coldly, "The ones you slept with are two female ghosts. Aren't you enjoying it? Show some guts and give me a smile now!" 0

Fatty and I exchanged stunned glances again. After a moment, Fatty forced out a smile, "Well... I really didn't expect that I actually slept with ghosts! Hehe... this feeling... is quite exhilarating. Cough, cough, but Kong Xuan, can you check if we have any aftereffects in our bodies, like chronic poisoning or something?" 0

Kong Xuan checked our pulses for a moment and then smiled slightly, "Actually, there's nothing to worry about. Those two ghosts don't seem to have any malice towards you. Could it be that you two are really famous? Even ghosts come to submit their stories!" 0

I knew that Kong Xuan's mention of "submission" was actually a joke. I chuckled dryly but felt something strange in my heart, though I couldn't pinpoint what was odd. 0

Just then, my phone rang. I picked it up to see that it was Kang Qin calling. 0

"Zhong, I've found the information you asked me to look into. I'll send it to you via text." After that, Kang Qin gave me a couple more instructions and hung up. 0

After a while, my phone beeped a few times, indicating that I had received two messages. 0

The first message: Xiaofeng Luo, male, thirty-one years old, coach at Peak Fitness Center, lover of Du Weidong's wife Sun Xia; they met at the gym. Address and phone number of the gym. 0

The second message: Chen Zhiqun, male, twenty-nine years old, driver at Ningsu Distribution Center; detained for hitting and killing Ms. Wen Li. If you want to find him, you can call Director Huang's phone number; just mention my name when you do. 0

I showed the messages to Fatty and the others before taking back my phone and recounting these events to Kong Xuan. After discussing for a moment, the three of us decided to find Xiaofeng Luo first since the clue left by Chen Fei'er mentioned 'green hat,' which clearly referred to this situation. 0

As we were leaving, Fatty casually knocked on the door of room 805 across the hall. There was no response; it seemed the two people across had already checked out. Kong Xuan laughed mockingly, "What? Still hoping for an overtime?" 0

Not bothering to eat, we grabbed some snacks to fill our stomachs and took a taxi directly to the area where Peak Fitness Center was located. We walked through a garden and arrived at one of the buildings where the gym was located on the first floor. Upon entering, we found the receptionist and inquired about Xiaofeng Luo. The receptionist looked surprised and asked, "Are you members?" 0

"Uh, we're good friends he introduced us to come here; we heard he works as a coach here. We three want to get fit too; just look at this belly." I patted Fatty's belly lightly; it shook like leaves swaying in the spring breeze over Lugu Lake. 0

"Oh, I see! You can wait over there for a bit." The receptionist smiled at us and gestured for us to sit on the nearby sofa before picking up a microphone sweetly saying, "Coach Xiaofeng Luo, Coach Xiaofeng Luo, there are people looking for you at the front desk!" 0

Before long, a rather muscular Brawny Man walked out, greeted the front desk, and the front desk staff nodded towards us. The Brawny Man, puzzled, walked over and sat down beside us, asking, "I am Xiaofeng Luo. May I ask who you three are?" 0

"Is there a quieter place?" I smiled. 0

"What do you mean?" A hint of caution flashed in Xiaofeng Luo's eyes. 0

"I just want to talk to you about Sun Xia!" I said softly, noticing Xiaofeng Luo's expression change as he attempted to get up and leave. I quickly added, "We are relatives of Du Weidong. If you don't want us to make this a public affair, you'd better come with us." 0

This statement hit his weak spot; if the company found out that a gym instructor was involved with a client, Xiaofeng Luo would definitely be fired. After all, if every gym instructor behaved like this, who would dare send their wife to work out? 0

Sure enough, Xiaofeng Luo's face turned red and pale in turns. After a moment, he quietly said, "Let's go to the garden outside." 0

The four of us exited to the garden and casually found a stone table to sit at. Xiaofeng Luo cleared his throat twice and asked, "What do you want?" 0

I glanced at Kong Xuan, who shook his head. Earlier, he had intentionally brushed against Xiaofeng Luo a few times; something resembling a yellow paper talisman had flashed in his hand. It was clear he had tested him and now shaking his head indicated that Xiaofeng Luo was not related to any ghosts. 0

"Sun Xia's husband Du Weidong has been murdered. You must have heard about it," I stated directly. 0

"It wasn't me!" Xiaofeng Luo immediately blushed and whispered angrily. 0

"I'm not saying you did it!" I rolled my eyes. "I'm just trying to understand the situation." 0

"Are you police?" Xiaofeng Luo sighed in relief but then asked suspiciously. 0

"You don't need to know that," I replied ambiguously. "Just tell us how you know Sun Xia." 0

In truth, I had no idea what to ask. I approached Xiaofeng Luo simply because I suspected he might be Chen Fei'er's next target. What could I possibly ask in this situation? Should I inquire about what position he used every time he was with Sun Xia? 0

Xiaofeng Luo might really think of us as the police, not hiding anything and going into detail about how he knows Sun Xia. He rambled on for about ten minutes, and when he finished, he smiled wryly and summarized, "Actually, this was initiated by her. I'm a kind-hearted person and can't stand seeing a woman with that sorrowful look in her eyes..." 0

I quickly raised my hand to stop him. "Hold on, hold on. Does Du Weidong know about the two of you?" 0

Xiaofeng Luo paused for a moment. "He probably doesn't know. Sun Xia is very rational; our relationship is purely a release of physical desires." 0

I nodded towards Kong Xuan and Fatty, signaling them if they had any questions. I had none left. 0

Kong Xuan shook his head, but Fatty boldly asked, "Do you know Wen Li and Chen Fei'er?" 0

Xiaofeng Luo clearly hesitated, as if recalling those two names carefully, and finally assured us, "I don't know them!" 0

"Then there's nothing more to discuss," Fatty waved his hand impatiently. "That's it; you can go back now!" 0

After Xiaofeng Luo left, Fatty chuckled, "Ghost Brother, what do we do next?" 0

"I mean for Kong Xuan to stay behind and keep an eye on him. After all, he's the only one who has any connection to the green hat situation," I said with a wry smile as I laid out my plan. 0

"What the hell? Why do you guys get to have fun while I’m stuck here monitoring someone?" Kong Xuan complained vehemently. "I came to Yue City for a vacation." 0

"Among the three of us, you're the only one who can handle ghosts. Who else could it be? If you're not willing, I can just call Aijia Yu and have her come pick you up since you’re of no use here!" I laughed. 0

Just as Kong Xuan was about to argue back, my phone rang at the right moment; it was Kang Qin calling. 0

"Zhong, come to Baisheng Building!" Kang Qin's voice sounded strange—he seemed anxious and surprised. 0

"What happened? Is there something going on?" 0

“Qin Zhicheng is dead, the Young Man who was in the elevator with Du Weidong yesterday. He was also killed in the elevator, and there are writings on the wall. You should come to the scene and take a look.” Kang Qin hung up after saying this. 0

Qin Zhicheng? How could he die out of nowhere? 0

Fatty saw me standing there in a daze and quickly pushed my shoulder, “Ghost Brother, are you okay?” 0

I relayed Kang Qin's words, and Kong Xuan asked, “What did it say on the wall? Another clue?” 0

“It means I need to go to the scene to find out!” I snapped back to reality and called for the two of them to head out and catch a taxi. 0

Half an hour later, we arrived at Baisheng Building. The security guards at the entrance were the same two from yesterday; they seemed to recognize us and let us through without obstruction. When we reached the elevator area, Kang Qin was speaking quietly with the female police officer from yesterday near the caution tape. Upon seeing us approach, he instructed her briefly before coming over to greet us. I introduced Kong Xuan to him, and Kang Qin nodded at Kong Xuan, leading us to take the emergency exit to the sixth floor. 0

Damn, not again—the sixth floor. 0

Fatty couldn't help but ask, “Wasn't that Chen Fei'er incident also on the sixth floor?” 0

Kang Qin looked at Fatty in surprise, “Yes, and it was also in this elevator.” 0

Hearing this, I felt a stir of curiosity: “What company is on this sixth floor? What was Chen Fei'er doing there?” 0
