Luo Yun What do you mean by that? Is all of this the doing of Ma Zhenkai and Luo Yun?
As soon as Ma Zhenkai heard this, he shouted angrily, "Wife, what nonsense are you talking about?"
"Nonsense? After so many years in the Ma Family, what have I said that is nonsense? Every word I say has your approval. Since they already know about the ghosts, I don't want to hide it anymore. Ma Zhenkai finally couldn't hold back any longer. He swung his arm and gave a hard slap, sending Luo Yun spinning around before she fell to the ground. She sat up immediately, surprisingly not crying, but staring wide-eyed at Ma Zhenkai, with a clear handprint on her face.
"I'm warning you, stop talking nonsense!" Ma Zhenkai pointed at Luo Yun, then turned to me, his face alternating between red and white. "Zheng Nan, you don't believe her, do you?"
"That's something you need to ask yourself!"
When Luo Yun revealed Ma Zhenkai, I was already calculating the strengths of both sides. Even if Xi Shaohua is the top expert of the Ma Family, he would at most be on par with Kong Xuan. The two of us should be able to handle the four in front of us without issue. Besides, I still have a gun in my Mustard Seed Pendant.

Ma Zhenkai let out a bitter laugh and turned to Xi Shaohua, saying, "Shaohua, don't take this to heart."

After subduing Ma Zhenkai, Xi Shaohua turned to Luo Yun and said, "Sister-in-law, since Zheng Nan and the others are here, just reveal everything about Ma Zhenkai!"
Luo Yun's face bore red marks from slaps. She touched her face and became even angrier, pointing at Ma Zhenkai and shouting, "Let me tell you, ever since I found out you were with Shaohua, I have completely lost hope. An old man with gray hair cleared his throat and said, "Everyone is here!"
"Xingrui, what’s going on?" The thick-browed elder waved his hand casually at Ma Xingrui.
Hearing this, Ma Xingrui called out "Uncle," indicating that this person was indeed Ma Xiao.
Next, Ma Xingrui recounted the entire incident. When he reached Wen Li and Chen Fei'er, his tone remained calm and indifferent, as if discussing someone else's affairs.
"Zhenkai! Do you have anything to say?" Ma Xiao shouted sternly at Ma Zhenkai.
Ma Zhenkai looked despondent and surprisingly said nothing, only shaking his head.
He had actually given up on defending himself; perhaps he felt that no matter what he said, it would be futile. From an observer's perspective, everything Ma Zhenkai had done left no evidence behind. If he denied everything outright, the elders of the Ma Family could do nothing to him. His behavior was indeed somewhat strange.
Was it the accusation from Xi Shaohua that left him feeling like cold ashes? Could it be that Ma Zhenkai was still a romantic at heart? "Yes!" I nodded.
With my confirmation, the next step was for the elders of the Ma Family to discuss how to deal with Ma Zhenkai. The final decision was that Ma Zhenkai would be expelled, and Ma Xiao would relinquish his position as the head of the Ma Family due to his failure in raising his son.
What surprised me was that the position of head of the Ma Family would temporarily be held by Ma Xingrui. How ironic! Not long ago, Ma Xingrui had nearly been expelled by Ma Xiao over issues related to women, and now it was reversed—Ma Zhenkai was expelled for similar reasons while Ma Xingrui became the head of the family.
Kong Xuan and I had long wanted to leave. The meeting of the Ma Family had nothing to do with us, but seeing how heated their discussions were made it difficult to excuse ourselves. Finally, once everything settled down, Kong Xuan and I approached Ma Xingrui to offer our congratulations before taking our leave.
