This is a master! 0

I instantly made a judgment based on the posture and speed of Leizu Wu as he lunged forward. Leizu Wu's Kung Fu was definitely not inferior to Fatty's. After all, Fatty had fought in underground matches, which clearly indicated that Leizu Wu was a Kung Fu expert in his own right. Despite this, Leizu Wu was kicked away by the person outside the door, suggesting that the person outside was an even greater master of Kung Fu. 0

In shock, I quickly slipped past the screen, positioning my feet one in front of the other, gathering my weight on my toes, with my muscles tensed and ready to launch a fierce attack as soon as I turned around. However, when I saw the situation at the door, it felt as if I had been paralyzed; I stood frozen in place. 0

At the door stood two people: in front was Rayue, her face filled with horror, and behind her was a middle-aged man with a black mole at the corner of his mouth—a man I had seen near Star Riverbank and Dragon Rising Prosperity District by the Swimming Pool. The middle-aged man was tightly holding Rayue from behind, one arm wrapped around her neck while his fingertips grazed a bomb that resembled the Timed Bomb I had seen before, except this time it wasn't counting down. In his other hand, he held something resembling a car key, likely a remote control for the bomb. 0

Rayue grasped the middle-aged man's arm with both hands and pulled down with all her might. Unfortunately, she couldn't budge his arm at all. Thankfully, he didn't seem intent on choking her; despite Rayue's discomfort, she didn't turn purple from suffocation. 0

At this moment, Kong Xuan stood behind me, and Leizu Wu had gotten up from the ground, trembling as he asked, "Who are you? What do you want?" 0

The middle-aged man smiled slightly; his voice was nothing like the cheerful tone from earlier: "My surname is Qian!" 0

"You are Mr. Qian?" I asked in surprise. I wasn't particularly shocked that he didn't use the same voice as before; after all, I had seen technology on that website that could change one's voice. 0

"No, I am Qian Housheng!" The middle-aged man raised his chin slightly. "It's not polite to stand at the door while talking; aren't you going to invite me in to sit for a while?" 0

Leizu Wu paused for a moment and quickly replied, "Of course, please come in, Qian... Housheng." 0

"Housheng" is a dialect term from Star City. Literally translated, it corresponds to "young man" or "gentleman." Originally referring to someone born later than another person, it evolved into a term for someone who possesses certain knowledge—like teachers or accountants—and eventually became a respectful title for others such as Mr. Zhong or Mr. Ding. 0

Qian... Housheng? Damn, why does that sound so awkward? Why not just call him Qian Beast? Clearly, Qian Housheng was just using this name casually, much like Mr. Qian is also an arbitrary name. 0

"Sit down; don't be polite—make yourself at home!" Qian Housheng greeted us warmly as if he were the host of this house. He pushed Rayue toward the sofa and smiled as he asked, "You are Rayue?" 0

"Yes... yes!" Rayue replied tremulously. 0

"Not bad, not bad, quite beautiful," Qian Housheng said with a smile. "Your pajamas are really nice. Where did you buy them? I should get one for my daughter too!" 0

"Taobao..." Rayue replied nervously. 0

"Do you know what I have in my hand? This is a bomb. As long as I press the remote control, it will explode with a bang, and then your heart, liver, and lungs will be blown all over the place. Don't you believe me? Should I press the remote to prove it to you?" Qian Housheng explained gently to Rayue, as if he were a kindergarten teacher patiently teaching a friend a nursery rhyme. 0

Rayue's face turned pale as he shook his head desperately, screaming, "No, don't press it!" 0

"Then sit quietly on the sofa," Qian Housheng said as he pushed Rayue down onto the sofa and placed the bomb in his lap. Rayue screamed again, about to throw it away, but Qian Housheng reached out and pressed down on the bomb, smiling, "Don't be disobedient; otherwise, I'll really press the remote." 0

Hearing Qian Housheng say these words with a grin made me feel a chill run down my spine. This person was definitely a madman. I had seen people disregard life and death before, but I had never seen anyone treat their own life as a joke, as if they were a cat with nine lives—after all, if that bomb exploded, he would be blown to bits too. 0

Qian Housheng finally sat down comfortably on the sofa and even adjusted his position to make himself more at ease. "Mr. Lei, is your money ready?" 0

Leizu Wu pointed to the safe beside the sofa. "It's all here, one hundred twenty thousand." 0

"Open it for me to see!" Qian Housheng said casually. 0

Leizu Wu lifted the safe and placed it on the sofa, opening it to reveal stacks of cash inside. Without waiting for Qian Housheng's instructions, Leizu Wu took several stacks of bills and flipped through them in his hands; the bright red bills made a faint rustling sound. 0

"Not bad, not bad!" Qian Housheng said after watching Leizu Wu flip through about ten bundles of cash. "Close the box." 0

Leizu Wu suddenly became anxious. "Mr. Qian... where is my son?" 0

"What's the rush? The transaction hasn't even happened yet!" Qian Housheng replied nonchalantly. 0

"This... isn't this... aren't you here to collect the money?" Leizu Wu said more anxiously, speaking incoherently. 0

"Who am I to take the money?" Qian Housheng laughed and said, "Taking money is Mr. Qian's business; I am Qian Housheng, and I don't care about this matter." 0

"Then what are you here for?" I asked in surprise. 0

"Isn't Mr. Qian going to play a game with you? I'm here to deliver the props!" Qian Housheng looked at me with a sly smile. 0

"Props? What props?" I pointed at the bomb that Rayue was holding and frowned, "Is it this bomb?" 0

"I don't know if you are aware of some international terrorist organizations," Qian Housheng suddenly changed the subject. 0

"What do you mean?" I was confused. 0

"It means nothing; I'm just telling you that abroad, there are many things like Human Bombs and car bombs. Today's props are these!" Qian Housheng looked at Rayue and laughed, "Congratulations, Sister Rayue, you have honorably become a Human Bomb." 0

Upon hearing this, Rayue let out a sharp scream, trembling all over as if she were shaking like a sieve; the bomb looked like it was about to fall from her arms. Qian Housheng raised the remote control in his hand: "I'm not joking with you; if you drop the bomb, I'll detonate it immediately." 0

Hearing this, Rayue quickly held onto the bomb with both hands and finally couldn't help but burst into tears. 0

"Money... Big brother, what do you mean by this?" Leizu Wu said anxiously. 0

"Damn, can't you understand Chinese? It's all about being a Human Bomb! If you don't understand, go Baidu it yourself!" Qian Housheng cursed fiercely. 0

"Can I be the hostage instead? Just let my daughter go!" Leizu Wu shouted loudly. 0

"Dream on; you're so ugly!" Qian Housheng spat and stood up, turning to me, "Zheng Nan, we are about to start our operation. Mr. Lei, please don't see us off; if you do, I'll thank you by pressing the remote." 0

Leizu Wu's face was filled with fear and disbelief. It's no wonder; he originally planned to use a ransom of 1.2 million to secure his son's safe return but unexpectedly ended up involving his daughter as well. 0

I exchanged a glance with Kong Xuan, both of us somewhat astonished. It seemed that Qian Housheng was even more difficult to deal with than Mr. Qian; at the very least, he was not afraid of death. Kong Xuan stepped forward to pick up the suitcase, while I nodded to Leizu Wu, signaling him to be at ease. Qian Housheng chuckled and gestured for Rayue to stand up with the bomb. Our group walked out to the front door. 0

Next to Lingfeng's black SUV was a silver van, the kind that seats eleven. Qian Housheng indicated for me to open the door, then tilted his chin towards Kong Xuan, saying, "Ling Ju, why don't you drive? Hehe, hurry up and call Ling Ju a couple more times; who knows, you might not get to call him that in the future, hahaha." 0

Hearing Qian Housheng's words, I couldn't help but ponder what he meant. What did he mean by "not getting to call him that in the future"? Was he planning to kill us this time? 0

Kong Xuan took the driver's seat while I sat in the back. Once we were in the car, Qian Housheng and Rayue approached the passenger seat. He signaled for Kong Xuan to roll down the window and pulled out a large roll of transparent tape from the glove compartment. He ordered Rayue to hold the bomb tightly, and Rayue seemed to have guessed Qian Housheng's intention, bursting into tears. 0

However, Qian Housheng showed no signs of sympathy; he simply laughed as he wrapped the bomb tightly around Rayue's body in circles. Tilting his head left and right to check it over, he finally pushed Rayue into the car. 0

With a strange smile directed at me, Qian Housheng took out a tablet computer, swiped a few times, switched to a screen, tapped twice, and held the tablet in front of me: "Look!" 0

Focusing on it, I saw several people on the screen—Kong Xuan, myself, and the sobbing Rayue—along with a hand holding the tablet. Clearly, this screen displayed what was happening inside this silver van. 0

"What do you mean by all this?" I couldn't hold back any longer. "Why don't you just take the ransom directly? Why do you want us in this van and go through all these antics?" 0

Qian Housheng chuckled: "Well, this is Mr. Qian wanting to play a game with you all. I'm just a passerby delivering props. Showing you this screen is to let you know there are cameras in this vehicle; I can monitor your movements at any time. Don't think about driving somewhere and throwing away the bomb; if I notice anything suspicious, I will really press the remote." 0
