In the distance, the water was churning violently.
In the center of the waves, a massive whale was struggling fiercely, while a gigantic squid clung tightly to its body. Ten long tentacles wrapped around the whale, and it was clear that these two sea titans were engaged in a life-and-death battle.
This whale should be a Sperm Whale, and the squid is the infamous Giant Squid. In the deep sea, Sperm Whales and Giant Squids are arch-enemies. This Sperm Whale was about seventeen or eighteen meters long, while the Giant Squid, with its extended tentacles, was likely even longer than the Sperm Whale.
Under the beam of my flashlight, I could see the Giant Squid on the back of the Sperm Whale, its tentacles pulling relentlessly. The serrated suckers were tearing chunks of flesh from the Sperm Whale, which seemed helpless as it rolled and opened its mouth wide, trying to bite the Giant Squid. Unfortunately, the Giant Squid was exceptionally slippery and gave the Sperm Whale no chance at all.
For some reason, I felt sympathy for the weaker creature. Although to me, the Sperm Whale was a colossal being, watching it being bullied by the Giant Squid stirred a sense of injustice within me. This strange affection likely stemmed from the fact that the Giant Squid looked rather ugly.
I silently recited an incantation and pointed with my finger; a bolt of Nine Divine Thunder lightning struck toward the Giant Squid.
Unfortunately, I had forgotten one thing: the Giant Squid was tightly wrapped around the Sperm Whale. Below me lay an endless darkness.
As I descended eight meters, I sensed movement in the water again. Surprised, I shone my flashlight around and discovered that the commotion came from above at an angle.
That Sperm Whale was swimming rapidly toward me.

Then came another bite.
With each successive bite from the Sperm Whale, more and larger cracks appeared on the bubble, and I even noticed that moisture was starting to seep from the top crack.
Damn it, I'm done for!
At this depth of about 1000 meters, the water pressure is roughly 100 atmospheres. Under such immense pressure, if the bubble bursts, water will rush in like bullets. Even if I miraculously evade the initial surge of water, the subsequent immense pressure will crush the ruptured bubble into pieces. And for me inside that bubble? The bubble finally burst, and the immense pressure caused the seawater to rush toward me from all directions in an instant. I thought I was doomed, but just as the seawater made contact with my body, something miraculous happened.
At the moment the seawater touched my skin, an overwhelming surge of energy erupted within me. This energy felt familiar; it was Devouring Energy, mixed with some Yin-Yang Energy.
This energy was pure and powerful, both gentle and domineering. It enveloped me like a soft and comfortable piece of innerwear while simultaneously acting like a massive dam that kept the raging seawater at bay. It flowed slowly across my body’s surface, like Tai Chi in perpetual motion.
As the energy within me resisted this immense pressure, everything around me seemed to move in slow motion. I could even see how the water currents moved within the sea. It wasn't until the Devouring and Yin-Yang Energy formed an invisible protective layer on my body that everything returned to normal.
Wait, I’m not dead?
I’m not dead!
This feeling was incredible—like a long-time otaku preparing for another session when suddenly a voluptuous naked beauty bursts into his room, shouting loudly to let go of that hand and come at her instead… no, wait, a group of voluptuous naked beauties arguing among themselves: “I’ll go first! I felt myself sliding down a massive, flexible tube, and in the blink of an eye, I landed inside a soft, squishy container.
The container was filled with water and some random objects that felt like animal corpses. Moreover, this soft, squishy container was wriggling occasionally. Clearly, I was inside the Sperm Whale; this soft, squishy container must be its stomach.
Damn it, I didn't die from drowning but would instead be swallowed whole by a Sperm Whale? The thought of being dissolved by the whale's stomach acid made me tremble. In a moment of desperation, I raised the Mysterious Realm Golden Sphere in my hand and punched the whale's stomach wall.
Upon contact, I felt the Sperm Whale shudder violently, then it went completely still, as if it had died.

I focused my spiritual energy to connect with the golden sphere and shouted in my mind, "Firebird! Firebird! Are you there?"
A response came from within the golden sphere: "I'm here, Master. What did you just bring in? It's so big; it took quite a bit of effort to kill it!"

"Then why don't you just go into the Mystical Realm, take a few breaths, and then come back out? It’s just a thought away for you to enter the Mystical Realm," Firebird laughed loudly.
Right, it could be done that way. No matter how long I stayed in the Mystical Realm, it would only be a moment outside. With that thought, I focused and dove into the Blazing Realm, gasping for air several times. Afterward, I explained the situation to Firebird and asked if he had any way to break this predicament.
