Just when I was feeling down, Linzi lightly coughed and said, "Can I say something?" 0

"Of course." I turned to look at Linzi, surprised. Could it be that Linzi had figured out the answer to this question? 0

Linzi's expression seemed a bit confused as she asked Reverse Asura, "Earlier, you said three apples need to be placed into two plates, and each plate can only hold one, right?" 0

Reverse Asura coldly replied, "Yes." 0

"Since one plate can only hold one, can't the other plate hold two?" Linzi frowned, seemingly baffled that such a simple question had stumped us. 0

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Reverse Asura sneered. "Did you even listen to the question? One plate can only hold one." 0

"Exactly, your one plate can only hold one, but not every plate can only hold one," Linzi said with a smile. 0

I burst out laughing. "Right, right! Your one plate, not every plate. Since one plate can only hold one, then the other plate can hold two apples. Damn, this is just playing with words!" 0

Reverse Asura muttered, "I see now, I see..." repeating it over ten times. Then he took off his armor and said to me, "Come on, go ahead." 0

I wasn't going to be polite. I punched Reverse Asura in the chest, and his health bar dropped by a hundred thousand instantly. Damn, one punch for a hundred thousand; he had fifty million health points. I would need to land five hundred punches. 0

Fortunately, Reverse Asura didn't resist and just stood there letting me attack. Even so, it took me nearly ten minutes to defeat him by hitting once per second. 0

With a burst of red smoke numbers, my level increased to level 5, and I collapsed on the ground from exhaustion. 0

I took out some chocolate to replenish my energy but was horrified to find white maggots wriggling on the surface of the chocolate called Feroro as soon as I tore open the wrapper. I nearly vomited and threw the chocolate far away. After eating two packs of Spicy Strips and drinking a bottle of Red Bull, I finally felt a bit better. 0

After resting for a while, I felt the Devouring Energy within me surging like a vast ocean, boundless and immense. I couldn't help but wonder if the fullness of this Devouring Energy resembled that of the Thunder Element and Fire Element mana from before. Could it be that this Devour ability had reached its saturation limit? 0

I stood up and stretched my limbs. After defeating the Reverse Asura, there were no more monsters ahead. We quickly arrived at a Gorge. Inside the Gorge, flames roared fiercely. Just as I was about to speak, the raging flames instantly transformed into Wan Li ice. Stunned, I watched as, just a few seconds later, they turned back into blazing fire again. The ice and fire kept switching back and forth without any pattern—sometimes one or two seconds, sometimes three or four seconds, or even seven or eight seconds... 0

Damn, is this really called Fogwind Valley? It clearly looks like Ice and Fire Valley! 0

Looking around, I noticed a stone platform about a meter high at the mouth of the gorge. The stone Stage was engraved with three characters—Fogwind Valley. The characters were carved with silver hooks and iron strokes, strong and vigorous. On top of the stone platform lay a large Amethyst, reminiscent of what the Ironclaw Zombie had said. Not wanting to think too much about it, I activated the Devouring Energy within me and struck the Amethyst with a punch, causing it to shatter. 0

As the Amethyst broke apart, the ice and fire at the gorge's entrance suddenly vanished, replaced by swirling white mist. A chilling wind blew through, causing the white mist to swirl in the gorge but not dissipate, as if drawn by some mysterious force. 0

Right, now this looks more like Fogwind Valley. I glanced at the white mist in the gorge and turned to ask Linzi: “Linzi, is there any poison in this white mist?” 0

Linzi shook her head: “I really don't know.” 0

“Aren't you a Black Magic master?” I asked in surprise. “On TV, those Black Magic masters seem to understand things like peach blossom miasma or other fog miasmas. Is this white mist not toxic?” 0

“Those who understand miasma are not necessarily curse masters,” Linzi rolled her eyes at me. 0

“Is there a difference?” I asked in astonishment. “Isn't your Black Magic insect curse just controlling others with insects? Don't those witchcraft practitioners also use insects to control others?” 0

Linzi shook her head: “Although the names of the insect curses in Black Magic and witchcraft sound similar, they are fundamentally different. In Black Magic, insects serve as mediums; they enter the human body and integrate into the central nervous system, allowing the curse master to control them directly with mental power. In contrast, witchcraft uses insects as control elements; once insects enter the body, the witchcraft practitioner controls them to achieve their goal of controlling people. Simply put, one is direct control while the other is indirect control.” 0

“I only asked if the white mist is toxic; why are you going off on this tangent? If you don’t know, just say so—there’s no need for so many reasons. I won’t laugh at you,” I said with a smile. 0

Linzi playfully punched my shoulder; she looked adorably naive. After joking around for a bit, I picked up a stone from the ground and threw it directly into the white mist—a move known as testing the waters. 0

To my surprise, throwing that stone actually worked. A voice exclaimed in annoyance from within: “Who? Who threw that stone? Do you have no sense of public decorum?” 0

I exchanged a surprised glance with Linzi, and besides astonishment, there was a hint of amusement in our eyes. I cleared my throat and shouted, "Is that the Lion Knight Guardian?" 0

"Zhong Zhengnan? Damn, I knew it. There can't be anyone else in this world so lacking in public morals besides humans," a voice from inside snorted coldly. 0

Then, another sharp laugh echoed out: "Ha ha ha ha, I am the Lion Knight Guardian. You should hurry up and let them in; it's only right for them to kill you." 0

"Damn, Mountain Demon, what do you mean by that? Do you think that after killing me, you can rule this world?" the Lion Knight Guardian shouted angrily. 0

"That's just how it is set up above; do you really think you can resist?" the Mountain Demon chuckled ominously. 0

The Lion Knight Guardian let out a frustrated grunt and suddenly, a chilling wind swept through. The white mist inside began to boil like boiling water. After about ten seconds, the wind abruptly stopped, and the mist vanished without a trace. Before us lay a lush and vibrant Gorge, not far from its entrance sat two monstrous figures. 0

The creature on the left shimmered with silver light, resembling a Dinosaur, specifically a Stegosaurus with many spikes on its back. However, its spikes were not as pronounced as those of a Stegosaurus, and its forelimbs were particularly agile. I saw it grasping a massive iron pickaxe in its palm, spinning it rapidly like a student twirling a pen. 0

I thought this monster was impressive enough until I noticed the creature on the right was even more imposing—a golden giant with the body of a Minotaur riding atop a golden lion. It wielded two enormous battle axes. Upon closer inspection, I realized that this Minotaur did not have legs below its waist; it was directly fused to the lion's back. 0

This Minotaur riding the lion was indeed the so-called Lion Knight Guardian, while the one playing with the pickaxe was the Mountain Demon. 0

The Lion Knight Guardian and Mountain Demon sat across from each other at a chessboard between them. The Lion Knight Guardian played as red while the Mountain Demon played as black. Upon seeing us, the Lion Knight Guardian muttered some curses under its breath in frustration, casually scattering the chess pieces and roaring at us, "Now that you're here, why are you just standing there? Hurry up and come take my life!" 0

I told Linzi to wait outside while I approached the monsters. As I got closer, I realized that even sitting cross-legged on the ground, the Lion Knight Guardian stood over four meters tall. Looking up at its health bar above its head revealed an astonishing amount of health—one hundred million. Turning my gaze to the side, I saw that the Mountain Demon also had one hundred million health. 0

Damn, I wondered how much damage my level 5 punch could inflict on it. If I could deal ten million damage, it would be like when I fought Reverse Asura earlier—needing zero punches to solve the problem. 0

As I approached it, the Lion Knight Guardian stretched out one leg in front of me with great annoyance: "Go ahead and hit me." 0

I didn't hold back and delivered a powerful punch to its leg. After striking, I instinctively looked up at the health bar above the Lion Knight Guardian's head. 0

Damn, my punch only dealt 0 damage. How much is a billion divided by zero? Zero! I would need to throw twenty-five thousand punches to defeat the Lion Knight Guardian. What does twenty-five thousand punches even mean? Even if I punch once per second, it would take me nearly seven hours to kill it. 0

Seeing this, the Lion Knight Guardian let out a strange laugh and turned to the Mountain Demon, saying, "Look, this guy has such little ability. His damage to me doesn't even match my healing speed." 0

What? Healing? I quickly looked at the Lion Knight Guardian's health bar, and sure enough, it was fully restored. 0

Ten Directions Monk, where are you? 0

The Mountain Demon was stunned for a moment before saying, "Damn, Zhong Zhengnan, is this all you've got? Even if the Lion Knight Guardian lay on the ground and let you hit him for several nights, you wouldn't be able to take away half of his health. And that's assuming you don't die from exhaustion first." 0

I was equally frustrated: "What can I do about it? Who told you to set it up like this?" 0

The Mountain Demon clicked his tongue a few times: "I do have a way that can help you quickly kill the Lion Knight Demon King." 0

I looked at the Mountain Demon suspiciously: "Oh, let's hear it." 0

The Mountain Demon picked up the iron pickaxe in his hand, stood up, and grinned: "It's simple. I'll help you out by fighting the Lion Knight Guardian first. Once our health bars are both low and we start healing, you rush in and grab the Lion Knight Guardian's horns. Remember, you have to grab one horn with each hand. Then channel your Devouring Energy and forcefully send it into the horns; that's how you can defeat it." 0
