Two days have passed since the competition, on the third night, in the secret chamber of the Nalan Family.
“Demonic Sound Three Spirits, have there been any movements recently?”
“Master, Huo Feng has not left his home. The three of us are personally hiding around the Huo Family to keep watch.”
“Good, continue to monitor him. I don't believe he won't come out when he goes to Azure Wave Palace. Listen, as soon as he appears, follow him and seize the opportunity to eliminate him.”

The carriage then began to move, and Huo Lianqing returned home.
At that moment, in a corner.
“Eldest Brother, Huo Feng has left. Let's hurry and chase after him. If we take him out, we won't have to spend another boring night here.”
“Third Brother, are you foolish? Do you know what it means to hide something in plain sight?”

Before long, Huo Feng arrived at the outskirts of the Icebound Mountains, where he saw ice blocks everywhere, even ice trees. Perhaps this place had not always been like this; it must have undergone some kind of change, otherwise how could there be ice trees?
Moreover, white mist was rising from the ice blocks. The magical beasts here primarily survived by absorbing energy and fighting each other.
Even at the outskirts, Huo Feng could feel a chill in the air. It seemed that with his current cultivation level, he could not venture too far in. Therefore, he decided to hunt magical beasts around the mountain's perimeter.
As Huo Feng walked cautiously, a loud roar echoed ahead. An Ice Snow Giant Bear appeared before him. The bear was completely white, and its fur looked like sharp blades.
This was the most common young beast in the area with relatively low attack power, so Huo Feng decided to use it as a practice target.
The young beast lunged at Huo Feng, revealing its sharp claws. Huo Feng was not afraid of it; he swiftly dodged backward while unleashing a Star Blade.
With a howl, the Ice Snow Giant Bear fell to the ground. A gash appeared on its abdomen, which instantly froze over without any blood flowing out. However, the Origin Force that Huo Feng had injected into it was stirring inside.
The giant bear was in great pain and looked at Huo Feng in panic as he approached. Huo Feng delivered a Push Palm strike to its forehead, ending its life. He immediately retrieved its Beast Soul and stored it in his bag. At that moment, Huo Feng thought about how convenient it would be if he had a Magic Origin Ring like his father; that would make storage much easier. However, only three people in Nottingham City possessed one, highlighting how precious it was.
After two more encounters, Huo Feng still had not come across any primary-level human magical beasts and had yet to break through that last barrier. However, he had collected over a hundred Beast Souls during this time.
Huo Feng noticed that there were no Human Level beasts outside, so he decided to venture deeper.
After advancing several hundred meters, Huo Feng felt a heavier chill, and the white mist rising here was thicker. Thus, Huo Feng decided to search for Human Level beasts in this area.
Sure enough, fortune favored the diligent; Huo Feng discovered his first beast, a Snow Ape, which was at the beginner level of Human Level. Huo Feng felt a surge of joy and cautiously approached it. When he got within a hundred meters, he realized the Snow Ape was enormous, standing over two meters tall. However, it seemed unaware of Huo Feng and appeared to be focused on something else, occasionally reaching out its hand only to retract it instantly.
Seeing that the Snow Ape seemed to be watching something, Huo Feng quietly circled around to take a look and found a person lying there. The Snow Ape merely observed him without making any move.
"I wonder if he's dead? Anyway, I need to engage this Snow Ape in battle," Huo Feng muttered to himself.
With that, Huo Feng charged forward and launched a “Star Blade” at the Snow Ape's head. At that moment, the Snow Ape sensed the threat and opened its mouth wide to roar at Huo Feng. The attack from Huo Feng's Star Blade was blocked in front of the Snow Ape, showing signs of shattering.
This was the Snow Ape's attack “Snow Ape's Fury.” However, Huo Feng did not expect it to be so strong. After failing with his first strike, he dared not approach recklessly and instead paused to look for an opportunity.
The Snow Ape, now enraged, charged at Huo Feng, who raised his fist and slammed it down onto the ground.
“Earthquake Strike”
The Snow Ape also raised its arms and slammed them down onto the ground. Huo Feng felt a brief moment of dizziness and tasted blood in his mouth. He was injured, but this was not the worst situation. This close-range attack left Huo Feng severely wounded. The roar from the beast caused blood to flow from his ears and nose as he was sent flying backward.
When Huo Feng got up from the ground, there was a smile on his face. Despite being injured, he noticed that the surrounding ground’s Origin Force surged toward him desperately. His pale face quickly regained color, and his internal injuries healed significantly due to this sudden change.
It turned out that experiencing “Snow Ape's Fury” at such close range without any resistance allowed Huo Feng to have an epiphany, breaking through the barrier of the human Second Stage of Pulse Realm, reaching the human Second Stage of Pulse Realm.
The Snow Ape also sensed the change in Huo Feng and charged at him again, trying to disrupt the process. However, as he rushed forward and raised his hands to strike the ground, Huo Feng also lifted his hands. Both fists were enveloped in stone-like formations as they slammed down onto the ground.
It turned out that Huo Feng was learning from the Snow Ape, using the "Earthquake Strike" with both hands simultaneously.
In an instant, both the human and the ape paused, then suddenly came to their senses again. The Snow Ape unleashed "Snow Ape's Fury" once more. However, this time Huo Feng was prepared; he sealed his ears with Origin Force and launched a "Star Blade" towards the Snow Ape's mouth. This time it did not shatter but remained stuck.
At that moment, Huo Feng delivered a "Push Palm" to the Snow Ape's abdomen, causing it to take a step back. To defend against this palm strike, "Snow Ape's Fury" weakened, allowing the Starlight Blade to fly into the Snow Ape's mouth and exit from the back of its head. The Snow Ape crashed to the ground, lifeless.
After obtaining the Beast Soul, Huo Feng walked over to the person lying on the ground.
As Huo Feng approached and took a closer look, he was stunned.
Lying on the ground was actually a woman, and a beautiful one at that. Huo Feng thought she was even more stunning than Mu Xue. She had an oval face and fair skin; although her eyes were closed, her long eyelashes indicated she had beautiful large eyes. Her cherry lips were striking, though her figure seemed still undeveloped.
Huo Feng stared for a moment before slapping his own head. "Aren't I here to save someone?" He checked her condition and found her breathing evenly with no signs of injury. So why was she unconscious?
Huo Feng grabbed her arm and shook it vigorously. After a while, the girl slowly opened her eyes. When she saw Huo Feng holding her arm, she suddenly brought a knife-hand strike to his neck.
"What do you want?"
