The capital of the Azure Wave Kingdom is located in the Holy City, northwest of Nottingham City, not far from it. Huo Feng and the others quickly arrived at the Holy City as they moved at full speed. Upon entering the Holy City, its prosperity was incomparable to that of Nottingham City, with various shops displaying a dazzling array of goods and a constant flow of pedestrians. They could even see some tall and fierce magical beasts pulling luxurious carriages. This was Huo Feng's first time traveling far, and he was captivated by the splendor.

Yun noticed Huo Feng's mention of stray cats and dogs and his eyes flashed coldly. At that moment, a young lackey beside Yun blocked their path and arrogantly said, "Stop! Young Master Yun hasn't finished speaking yet. You shouldn't leave so soon. It would be a blessing for you to have our lady's attention; you might even benefit from it. Don't be ungrateful."
Huo Feng had been patient and didn't want to cause trouble, but he wasn't afraid either. Seeing this person cling on so stubbornly, Huo Feng used a Push Palm technique to send the lackey flying while spitting blood.

Everyone turned to look and saw a woman in a red dress standing between them. She was stunningly beautiful; although she couldn't compare to Ruo Xi, she had a more mature charm. Huo Feng looked at the woman before him and felt overwhelmed by her fragrance. The woman spoke in a deep voice, "Yun, you're being too reckless. Don't you know that fighting is not allowed here?"
"Isn't that Nangong Yu from the Southern Mansion?"
"Yes, this hotel is owned by their family."

"Yes, we'll be careful. Thank you. Now let's head upstairs," Huo Feng said as he called out to Ruo Xi and went upstairs.
At the door of the room, the attendant said, "You two can use these two rooms. The others have gone downstairs." After that, the attendant left. Huo Feng turned to Ruo Xi and said, "Let's rest for a while, then have lunch before heading to the palace."

They each went to their respective rooms. Huo Feng sat on the bed. Having just arrived here, he already encountered such matters. He knew there would definitely be various troubles ahead. After leaving the hotel, someone stealthily followed them; this person was Yun's subordinate.
Upon arriving at the palace gate, a guard stopped them and said, "Who goes there? Do you not know that the palace is a forbidden area?"
Huo Feng quickly took out the token given to him by Le Xing and said, "We are here to participate in the palace disciple assessment."
"Only one person can enter with a token; she cannot enter," another guard pointed at Ruo Xi.
"Isn't it true that anyone above Networking Stage Five can come directly here to participate?" Huo Feng asked.
The guard carefully observed Ruo Xi and realized she was at the Eighth Level of Human Pulse Realm. He then said, "You two need to register here." He pointed to a side door next to the main gate of the palace and added, "Then go in through here and walk straight; you'll see a place with many people. That’s where you can register."

Not far along, Huo Feng indeed saw many people lined up in a long queue. Huo Feng approached the person at the end of the line and asked, "Excuse me, is this the place to register for the palace disciple assessment?"

Following Yun's direction, the person called Senior Brother saw an ordinary boy and a girl who seemed out of place. He instantly understood and said, "Don't worry, Junior Brother, leave it to me." Then he smiled slyly and turned to leave.
Two hours passed, and finally it was Huo Feng's turn. By this time, a long line had formed behind them. Huo Feng stepped forward and handed over the token given by Le Xing. The examiner asked, "Name, age, strength?"
"Huo Feng, thirteen years old, Second Stage of Pulse Realm."
Upon hearing Huo Feng's strength, the examiner looked at him with amusement and chuckled. Seeing this reaction made Huo Feng feel uneasy. Soon after, Ruo Xi finished her registration as well. The examiner told them, "Come back tomorrow morning for the assessment."
After registering, they returned to their hotel room. Inside, Huo Feng couldn't shake off a sense of foreboding. He slapped his forehead to calm himself down. Afterwards, Huo Feng practiced the ‘Phantom Steps’ in his room in preparation for tomorrow's assessment.
