Huo Feng evaded numerous guards and arrived at a courtyard near the square. After observing for a while, he noticed that no guards came to patrol this area. 0

Thus, Huo Feng quietly leaped onto the roof of the courtyard. Once he confirmed that he was in a position difficult for others to notice, he calmed down and began to observe the movements in the square. 0

Huo Feng quickly spotted a large coffin placed in the center of the square, adorned with various bizarre Beast Patterns. On either side of the coffin stood two rows of attendants dressed in white, holding white silk and standing still with their heads bowed. 0

In front of the coffin was an incense burner filled with fragrant sticks. In front of the incense burner, a golden brazier flickered with bright flames, dancing joyfully. Beside the golden brazier, two women were crying loudly, both dressed in white veils. 0

One woman, wearing a complex headdress, had already collapsed to the ground from crying so hard. The other woman appeared to be her personal maid, throwing paper money into the brazier while supporting the distraught woman beside her, tears streaming down her face as well. 0

Next to the two women stood two men, also dressed in white veils. One sat with his head bowed, looking haggard and worn out. The other stood beside him with a blank expression. Though wrapped in white veils, his robust physique could not be concealed. 0

Surrounding the square were three full circles of guards, totaling at least three to four hundred people. They all wore white headbands and knelt on one knee. 0

Huo Feng remained quietly on the roof, waiting for the two men to step out. He instantly recognized the standing man; no matter how much he tried to forget, he would never forget that face—it was Xiang. 0

The haggard man was undoubtedly Father of Yun, and the woman crying uncontrollably beside him must be Mother of Yun. 0

Huo Feng couldn't help but marvel at such a grand display; if this were in Nottingham City, even the death of a city lord would not warrant such an occasion. 0

The situation in the square continued like this until deep into the night. At this point, Huo Feng began to worry—would they stay there all night? 0

His mind raced: "I can't just leave without doing anything; it won't be easy to sneak in next time. But if they remain there without moving, what should I do?" 0

Suddenly, Huo Feng thought, "Since they aren't moving, I'll find a way to make them move; I need to create some chaos." 0

With this thought in mind, Huo Feng felt a surge of determination and leaped down from the roof. He took out a map and located the meeting hall of Martial Hall, then noted down the route before stealthily making his way toward that location. 0

Huo Feng stopped not far from the conference hall, suspecting that there would be guards on duty here. Sure enough, he saw two guards standing at the entrance, both at the Eighth Level of Human Pulse Realm. 0

Huo Feng recalled that he had only recently reached this level himself, and it felt almost like a dream. Now that he had suddenly advanced to Earth Vein Realm Level Two, dealing with two Eighth Level of Human Pulse Realm guards was going to be a piece of cake. 0

“Phantom Steps” 0

At that moment, the two men suddenly turned their heads to look, then turned back again. One of them said, “Strange, how did a gust of wind just come out of nowhere and then vanish instantly? It doesn’t make any sense.” 0

“Stop it, you’re giving me the creeps. Are you sure it’s not Young Master Yun’s lingering spirit?” the other man shivered as he spoke. 0

The first speaker scoffed, “Please, it’s not Young Master Yun’s spirit that’s lingering; I bet it’s the souls of those harmed by him coming back for revenge.” 0

Hearing this, the second man shrank back, looking around in fear and muttering, “You bastard, are you trying to scare me just because you’re brave?” 0

“I can’t be bothered with you. I can’t believe I ended up in the same group as someone useless like you,” the first speaker began but suddenly stopped mid-sentence. 0

At that moment, a shadow appeared, but the two men remained oblivious and stood frozen. The figure was Huo Feng. With an Earthquake Strike, both men were left dazed. Huo Feng then swiftly extended his palm and struck the chest of the first speaker. The man immediately collapsed to the ground without a sound. 0

Just then, the other man regained his senses and stared in shock at the lifeless body on the ground. Suddenly, he let out a loud scream. 0

“Suction Palm” 0

The terrified man watched as his body uncontrollably moved toward Huo Feng. Using the power of Suction Palm, Huo Feng effortlessly flung him away. The man was thrown quite a distance. Huo Feng chose not to kill him but instead vanished from sight in an instant. 0

Seeing Huo Feng disappear, the man panicked and ran around like a headless chicken. While running, he cried out, “Help! There’s a thief! Someone come quickly! There’s a dead person!” 0

His frantic shouting attracted attention from Wen and Xiang nearby. In the square, Xiang frowned and called over a guard. Earth God instructed, “Go see what’s going on. How can there be such chaos in the Martial Hall? This is unacceptable.” 0

“Yes,” replied the guard as he headed toward the source of the shouting. 0

However, none of this seemed to affect Wen; he remained quietly seated on the ground with his head lowered. The flickering flames illuminated his face, which appeared to have aged considerably. 0

Before long, the guard brought the cowardly man over. 0

Xiang looked at his trembling body and scolded, "What's with all the fuss? Look at you, if you keep this up, you'll scare yourself to death." 0

"Vice Hall Master, a figure suddenly appeared in the conference hall, and we couldn't tell if it was human or ghost. We just felt dizzy, and then the person with me died. I only saw a masked face. He reached out and pulled me over, then threw me aside and disappeared," the cowardly man stammered. 0

Xiang usually didn't care about such matters, but hearing this left him unsure of how to handle it, so he said, "Lead the way; we'll go together." 0

Suddenly, a loud laugh drew their attention back. They saw the older brother standing there with disheveled hair, his hair completely white as he laughed maniacally. 0

"Brother, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Xiang asked with concern. 0

At that moment, the older brother stopped laughing and said with a twisted expression, "How could I have any problems? I'm better than ever. I've made up my mind; I will take revenge on everyone. I want to ruin their families and make them feel my pain." 0

"Ha ha ha..." 0
