At that moment, Ruo Xi, seeing this scene, quickly said, "Brother Feng, don't worry; Uncle Huo is fine."
The tension that had been gripping Huo Feng for the entire night finally relaxed as he sat down heavily on the ground.
At this time, Xuanran and Nangong Yu finally caught up, panting heavily. They had no idea what had happened; they were just following Huo Feng.
Without caring about appearances, Xuanran plopped down next to Huo Feng, patted his shoulder, and gasped, "I—Huo Feng, you finally—couldn't hold on anymore either. I'm exhausted—what on earth happened?"

"Father, you can relax. After not seeing you for a while, why have you become so overly cautious?" Huo Feng replied with a laugh.
"You little rascal, you're even lecturing your father now," Huo Lianqing joked before turning to Xuanran and Nangong Yu, asking, "Aren't you going to introduce me to your friends?"
Only then did Huo Feng realize and quickly introduced them, "That girl with the fiery red hair is Xuanran, and the other girl is Nangong Yu."
He continued, "Brother Xuanran, Sister Nangong, this is my father, Huo Lianqing."
Huo Lianqing greeted them warmly, saying, "Hello! Since you are all Feng'er's friends, feel free to make yourselves at home here."
"Hello, Uncle Huo," both Xuanran and Nangong Yu politely responded.
At that moment, Huo Lianqing looked at Huo Feng curiously and asked, "Why did you come back so soon from the palace? Did something go wrong?"

Upon hearing this from Huo Feng, Huo Lianqing finally understood why he had rushed back in such a panic, feeling quite relieved.
