Returning to the Southern Mansion, Nangong Wuqing was summoned to the palace. After Huo Feng and the others arranged Xuanran, only Nangong Yu remained to accompany him. Huo Feng wandered around the city with Bing and Phantom Butterfly, and passersby occasionally stared at the cute creatures beside him. At this moment, they had retracted their aura and looked extremely adorable, much to the delight of the onlookers.
Bored, Huo Feng suddenly felt he had nothing to do. So, he decided to go to the palace to see Fu Bing and check if there were any records about leaving this domain.
Without hesitation, Huo Feng turned around and headed towards the palace. Seeing him suddenly leave, Bing and Phantom Butterfly, who were having fun together, curiously followed him.
Soon, Huo Feng and his two companions arrived at the main gate of the palace. The guards noticed Huo Feng and the adorable creatures on either side of him; they averted their gazes from Huo Feng, not daring to stop him. Thus, Huo Feng made his way smoothly to Fu Bing's palace.
Upon entering Fu Bing's palace, although the guards recognized Huo Feng, they dared not neglect their duties here; otherwise, it could cost them their lives. However, they also did not dare confront Huo Feng directly; they merely pointed their long spears at him, retreating a step for every step he took forward.
Seeing the guards' fearful expressions, Huo Feng smiled lightly and had no intention of entangling with them. In an instant, he vanished from sight, leaving them dumbfounded as they looked around in confusion.
At this moment, Huo Feng had arrived in what appeared to be a bedroom. Without hesitation, he walked inside and indeed found Fu Bing wrapped in white gauze, looking like a mummy lying on the bed with only her head exposed.
Huo Feng approached the bedside. Upon seeing him, Fu Bing awkwardly said, "What are you doing here?"
Huo Feng replied seriously, "I came to ask you something. Do you know if there is another space beyond our domain?"
"What? That can't be true!" Fu Bing exclaimed as she tried to sit up but winced in pain from her injury and lay back down.
She continued, "Who told you that? I have no idea and have never heard of it."
"Then can you let me access the palace's historical records database?"
Huo Feng guessed that she probably didn't know; otherwise, someone as obsessed with martial arts as she would have found a way to go there. He mainly wanted to know how to enter the palace's database.
Fu Bing was silent for a moment before taking out a golden token from beside her bed and handing it to Huo Feng. "Take this and ask the guards outside to take you there. With this, you can come and go freely."
Huo Feng tossed out a quick "Thanks" before rushing out the door. At that moment, the guards were standing at the entrance in a panic, unsure of what to do when Huo Feng emerged.
One of them nervously asked, "What... what do you want? What have you done to the Crown Prince?"
Huo Feng waved the golden token in his hand and said, "Just take me to the database; I only need this item from him. If you don't believe me, you can go in and check; he's perfectly fine."
The person who opened the door gestured to someone beside him, and that individual stared intently at Huo Feng while moving. He stumbled near the door and fell to the ground, then quickly got up and rushed into the room.
Before long, everyone heard a furious roar, "You bastards think I can be easily killed? Hurry up and lead the way."
At that moment, the guard scrambled out of the door. The one who had spoken earlier said again, "You all stay here; I'll take her over."
Knowing that Fu Bing was safe, the guards were no longer worried about Huo Feng taking action, and their voices were no longer trembling.
After making arrangements, the person led Huo Feng toward the database.
With this gold medal, there was no longer any concern among the guards about neglecting their duties. Huo Feng made her way smoothly to the database.
Upon entering the database, Huo Feng was stunned by the sight of countless books. This place was many times larger than the Treasure Pavilion she had visited, with rows of bookshelves stretching endlessly.
Huo Feng didn't know where to start. Fortunately, she found a reference guide at the entrance and examined it carefully. However, she did not find any records related to this other space; instead, there were only histories of the Azure Wave Kingdom and some important missions. Huo Feng went directly to that last row and discovered there was only an iron box covered in dust.
Gently brushing off the dust, she eagerly opened the box and found only an ancient piece of paper inside.
However, its contents gave Huo Feng a headache. It read: "Our Azure Wave Kingdom once had many Vein Realm experts thousands of years ago. However, during an exploration with Vein Realm experts from our neighboring country, Azure Calamity Nation, they mysteriously disappeared. Since then, neither country has seen any Vein Realm individuals."
Huo Feng furrowed her brow; what was this all about? Why was it recorded like this? Could it be related to the disappearance of those ancestors in Otherworld? Regardless, she had to give it a try. Since there were no detailed records here, she would go check out Azure Calamity Nation.
Her curiosity grew stronger as she yearned for Ruo Xi in Otherworld even more. What kind of place could cause all Vein Realm individuals from both countries to vanish? And Ruo Xi, I will definitely come back to find you; will you still remember me then?
With mixed emotions, Huo Feng returned to Southern Mansion. Inside Southern Mansion, she stayed alone in her room and did not visit Xuanran or Nangong Yu.
In the dark of night, Huo Feng left a note on the table and then swiftly exited the room. She looked around and saw no one nearby; using her skills, she vanished from her spot and left the city alone, disappearing into the vast night.
A night passed without incident, and on the following morning...
"Father, have you seen Huo Feng? I was taking care of Brother Xuanran all day and didn't notice him. I went to knock on his door this morning, but no one answered," Nangong Yu shouted anxiously as she rushed into the Southern Mansion hall.
"What do you mean? No one in the Azure Wave Kingdom should be able to harm him now, so don't worry too much. Let's go check on him together," Nangong Wuqing said, equally puzzled.
The two quickly arrived at Huo Feng's room and called out a few times, but there was still no response. Nangong Wuqing stepped forward and knocked on the door. However, they found that the door was not locked and it opened with a single knock. They hurried inside to see what was going on.
Once inside, they found the room empty, with the bed neatly made. Nangong Wuqing began to feel anxious and said, "What is going on here? This shouldn't be happening."
"Father, look, there's a note on the table," Nangong Yu said as she walked over to pick up the note.
"Quickly, see what it says," Nangong Wuqing urged as he leaned in closer.
The two read the note and discovered it said: "Please forgive my sudden departure; I do not like the scene of parting. First of all, I want to congratulate Brother Xuanran and Sister Nangong. I'm sorry I can't attend your wedding. This time I am going to the Azure Calamity Nation to find a way to Ruo Xi. When I return in the future, I will definitely celebrate with Brother Xuanran."

Nangong Yu put down the note, feeling an urge to cry as memories of their shared experiences flooded her mind.
