Hearing Huo Feng, the people of Pocket Tribe immediately cheered, as if Huo Feng's words meant that their crisis had been averted.
Seeing their simple and sincere expressions, Huo Feng felt a sudden sense of peace and comfort. An idea struck Huo Feng's mind: he wanted to live in a place like this in the future; it was simply a paradise. However, Huo Feng quickly shook his head to calm himself down, reminding himself that he still needed to find Ruo Xi, and there was a long road ahead.
Observing their joyful demeanor, Huo Feng couldn't bear to disrupt this pure and harmonious scene. So, he leaned closer to the chief and whispered, "Chief, to avoid bringing unnecessary trouble, I will go directly with Bing to find them. You just need to arrange for someone to guide us."
"That won't do! You came here for us to deal with others; it would be too much for us not to show up. We will go with you; we are not cowards," Chief Mo Qi replied firmly.
Huo Feng said somewhat displeased, "I don't want you to come because I fear you might hinder us and hold us back. Without you, we can act more freely. If you insist on coming, then I won't care anymore."
Seeing Huo Feng getting a bit angry, Chief Mo Qi panicked and quickly said, "Brother Huo Feng, I should have considered this better. Then we won't go; I'll have someone guide you right away."
He turned and called out towards Mo Shuai, "Mo Shuai, come here for a moment; everyone else can disperse."
The others left the hall in confusion while Mo Shuai, still wearing a happy expression, ran over to the chief and Huo Feng. Looking at the chief, he asked, "Chief, what do you need? If there's nothing else, I'm going back out to continue celebrating with them."
"I have an important task for you now. Take Brother Huo Feng and his companions to the lair of Water Mansion. Brother Huo Feng wants to go directly to find them," the chief said seriously.
"Really? Don't worry, Chief! With such an important task entrusted to me, I won't let you down," Mo Shuai said excitedly, grinning widely at the chief.
At that moment, Huo Feng was about to head upstairs to find Bing when he turned around and saw Bing jumping down while burping loudly. Huo Feng rolled his eyes at it and said, "Stop playing around; it's time to get serious."
Bing immediately used Origin Force to digest the food in its body and jumped onto Huo Feng's shoulder, asking, "What’s going on? Are we going to fight again? Make sure to leave the tough ones for me this time."
Huo Feng rolled his eyes again and ignored it. He turned to Mo Shuai and said, "Then let's set off now."
Mo Shuai nodded, and the two of them, along with Bing, bid farewell to the clan leader before heading towards the distant plains.
The others watched curiously as Huo Feng left with Mo Shuai, but the clan leader said nothing and went straight to the top of the treehouse.
As they walked eastward, Mo Shuai noticed Huo Feng's serious expression, as if he were deep in thought, so he refrained from speaking much. Only Bing remained lively, jumping around.
However, Huo Feng was not truly lost in thought; he was communicating with the Seven Star Spirit.
"Hey! I didn't expect you to have such a strong sense of justice," the Seven Star Spirit teased.
Huo Feng calmly replied in his heart, "Stellar Grandpa, what is your sense of justice? I don't understand what that means; it's all just hypocrisy. I won't help others just because of that. However, I have started to like this place and plan to settle here in a few years, so I won't let anyone destroy it."
"You have quite the personality. Not bad at all. Those who have accepted the Seven Star Inheritance cannot be bound by such thoughts; they must have their own thinking and viewpoints. By the way, you should really bring a pretty girl along on this journey; otherwise, it would be embarrassing for a successor of the Seven Star Inheritance. I wouldn't even want to talk to you without a girl around."
Huo Feng looked helpless and said, "You don't even have a body; wanting a woman is just wishful thinking for you. What can you do? Let's stick to normal conversation."
"I'm just reminding you to change your target quickly. Do you know how powerful that girl you were with before is? I'm worried you'll be devastated if things don't go well. After waiting ten thousand years for someone, it would be a shame if she disappears without us having much of a conversation. Hahaha!" The Seven Star Spirit laughed heartily.
"Stellar Grandpa, why do I feel like you're reveling in my misfortune? I, Huo Feng, refuse to accept fate. Just because someone has power and background doesn't mean they can take away my right to pursue love! I will become a top-tier powerhouse so that Ruo Xi can live under my protection and those who look down on me will see who I really am."
After saying this, Huo Feng turned his head to ask Mo Shuai, "Mo Shuai, how much further is it?"
"Not far now. Do you see that blue lake up ahead? It's right beneath that water," Mo Shuai pointed ahead.
Huo Feng looked in the direction Mo Shuai indicated and indeed saw a lake not far away. However, he furrowed his brows again and asked, "Is your Water Mansion underwater? Can you explain its setup?"
Mo Shuai frowned upon hearing Huo Feng's question and said, "I heard from the clan leader that this Water Mansion is built from pure ore, but it wasn't constructed later; it was originally here. Later, it was discovered by their Boss that there were many treasures buried here, and that one could breathe freely inside this building. So they settled here, but unexpectedly, they were so greedy that they even set their sights on our treehouse."
"Alright then, you can go back for now. We'll sneak in ourselves later," Huo Feng said, noticing that Mo Shuai didn't know much about what was inside.
"Huo Feng brother, let me go in with you," Mo Shuai insisted, appearing fearless.
Huo Feng couldn't be bothered to argue with him. He lightly tapped Mo Shuai's forehead, causing him to faint on the ground. At that moment, Huo Feng summoned Phantom Butterfly from the Narcissistic Ring to protect Mo Shuai and then headed towards the lake with Bing.
Soon, they arrived at the lake, and a voice rang out.
"Who dares to intrude here? Are you looking for death?"
Huo Feng looked in the direction of the voice and saw two people rising from the water. Noticing that they were only at the first level of Earth Vein Realm, Huo Feng immediately activated Phantom Steps and charged towards them, extending his hands towards the two.
"Star Blade!"
Huo Feng unleashed the first strike of Star Blade with both hands, sending two silver-white Starlight Blades piercing into the chests of the two individuals. Turning to Bing with a smile, Huo Feng said, "Let's go; we’ll dive down and have a good time."
