Huo Feng thought about being alone again, but at that moment, he felt a sense of relief. Huo Feng believed that occasionally being unburdened and able to roam freely was quite nice, and he didn’t have to face the complicated relationships with Yan'er and the others.
Thinking of Yan'er and the others, Huo Feng immediately became worried about their safety, furrowing his brow as he thought, "I wonder how they are doing. After all, this situation was caused by me. I should go check on them."

At that moment, the Ling Zhi brothers had returned to their usual selves, though their expressions showed some seriousness. Yan'er, on the other hand, appeared dazed, standing there with vacant eyes.
Seeing Yan'er's condition, Ling Zhi said with concern, “Yan'er, are you okay? My brother and I decided to take you home.”
With that, Ling Zhi and his brother walked to either side of Yan'er, noticing her dazed state. They each took one of her hands and guided her toward Maple Town.
“Let go of me!”
After walking a few steps, Yan'er suddenly forcefully shook off her arms, breaking free from the Ling Zhi brothers and shouted.
The two were taken aback and quickly turned to look at Yan'er. They saw that her demeanor had completely changed; she no longer had vacant eyes but seemed different from the usual Yan'er, appearing much more mature all of a sudden.
However, both were still very worried about this sudden change. Ling Zhi cautiously asked, “Sister Yan, what’s wrong? I know that Ahua’s situation has affected you greatly, but…”
“Enough! Let’s continue to Thunderstrike City for that selection.” Yan'er interrupted Ling Zhi, speaking coldly with an air of authority that made it clear she was not to be approached.
Ling Zhi looked very concerned and asked anxiously, “Are you sure you’re really okay?”
This time, Yan'er did not respond but instead walked briskly towards Thunderstrike City. Ling Zhi was momentarily at a loss and could only look at his brother Ling, who helplessly said, "For now, we can only follow her. Let's keep an eye on her and hope she stays safe."
So the two of them followed her, but Yan'er maintained her cold demeanor and did not speak, transforming from a lively and cute girl into an ice-cold beauty.
Huo Feng followed them for a while, observing that there seemed to be no issues, so he quickened his pace and took another route to catch up with them ahead.
After a night passed, in an oasis area resembling a thicket of shrubs, a gray-white city came into view. Although it was a city, it was not much larger than Maple Town, with buildings of generally the same height and none particularly tall. This was Earth City.
At this moment, at the North City Gate, a person dressed in a white robe arrived. The young man had a decent build but sported a baby-faced appearance along with short hair, making him look quite ordinary.
This person was Huo Feng. After parting ways with them, Huo Feng hurried along the road and reached Earth City in only half the expected time.
It seemed that not many people entered or exited Earth City due to its remote location, so there were only two guards. At that moment, the two guards were leaning against the wall of Earth City chatting idly, occasionally bursting into laughter.
Huo Feng planned to walk straight in, but as he approached the city gate, the two guards suddenly came over and blocked his path. One of them, who was only as tall as Huo Feng's shoulder, looked up at him and said, "Hey there, you seem unfamiliar. You're not from Earth City, are you? We need to register your origin and purpose for being here."
Huo Feng smiled kindly at the two. He had already thought of a fake identity for himself and said with a smile, "My name is Ruofeng. I'm from a faraway place called Notting Town. I want to go to Thunderstrike City to participate in that selection competition to make something of myself. I've run out of supplies after traveling for so long and thought I could restock and take a break here."
The other guard quickly wrote down Huo Feng's "information" and then waved his hand at him, saying, "You look young. It's quite pitiful to be struggling like this. You can go in, but make sure to behave yourself."
Huo Feng quickly nodded vigorously in thanks and said, "Thank you so much! I promise I won't cause any trouble."
Once inside the city, Huo Feng noticed that all the houses looked identical and were all made of white clay.
Huo Feng casually familiarized himself with the surroundings but only found a few hotels, all quite simple. Therefore, Huo Feng chose to stay at the hotel closest to the North City Gate, as he planned to wait there for Yan'er and the others to arrive and see how they were doing. After all, Huo Feng felt that Ahua's tragic incident was caused by him.
Aside from eating, Huo Feng spent most of his time in the room cultivating, only occasionally stepping out to look towards the city gate.
The night passed quickly, and early the next morning, Huo Feng left the hotel. As soon as he stepped outside, he saw a young man dressed much more extravagantly than others, with a fair and handsome face that exuded a certain charm. However, people around him deliberately avoided him, while he seemed oblivious and continued walking towards Huo Feng.
When he reached Huo Feng, Huo Feng stepped aside because he did not want to cause trouble and risk exposing too much.
However, the young man recognized Huo Feng as a newcomer and stopped, turning back to smile at him. He said, "You must be new to Earth City. You're quite sensible and perceptive; it's a pity you look a bit unrefined. Otherwise, you would do well under my command."
Then he ignored Huo Feng and walked straight into the hotel where Huo Feng was staying. Huo Feng noticed that as soon as the young man reached the entrance, the Hotel Owner greeted him with a flattering smile, saying, "Young Master Xiao has graced our humble establishment; it truly shines brightly. Please come inside."
At that moment, Huo Feng sensed three familiar presences approaching from the city gate. He immediately looked in that direction and saw a girl and two boys entering the city.
These three were Yan'er and her companions. Yan'er still had her icy demeanor, giving off an aura that made her seem unapproachable. Despite her beauty, the people of Earth City dared not openly stare at her.
She headed directly towards the hotel where Huo Feng was staying, and Ling Zhi and his brother quickly followed her. Both of them appeared somewhat exhausted; Huo Feng guessed they were overly worried about Yan'er's condition.
