Star Dragon God
When Huo Feng heard Yan'er speak, his eyes lit up slightly. Huo Feng could actually sense Yan'er's feelings, but he had already given his heart to Ruo Xi and could no longer accommodate anyone else. However, he couldn't bear to see Yan'er like this.
The others continued to joke and drink among themselves. Huo Feng looked at Yan'er and smiled gently, neither confirming nor denying anything, but softly said, "Sometimes, one really has to believe in human intuition."
As soon as Huo Feng said this, Yan'er was taken aback. She looked at Huo Feng with understanding in her eyes; it seemed she had grasped something. However, she also realized that Huo Feng must have his reasons for hiding his identity, so she revealed a long-lost smile and said, "I wish you a safe return."
The two raised their cups and drank together, then Huo Feng returned to his spot and joined in the revelry.
At that moment, Yan'er poured herself a full cup of wine and raised it to everyone, saying, "Thank you all for taking care of me during this time, especially you two brothers Ling. Thank you! I won't let you worry anymore."
She downed the full cup in one go.
"Are you okay?" Ling Zhi asked with concern as he looked at Yan'er. The others also stared at her in surprise; it was as if the cold beauty had suddenly emerged from her shell and was now actively engaging with everyone. Only Huo Feng watched her with a somewhat relieved smile.
After finishing her drink and seeing everyone's astonished expressions, Yan'er smiled brightly and said, "Hey! What's wrong with you all? Don't you like how I am now? And you two Ling, who grew up with me, are acting like this too."
However, Ling and the others were indeed the ones who understood Yan'er best. Seeing her genuine smile reassured them that she had truly returned to her former self, and they laughed joyfully. Ling Dao exclaimed, "Sister Yan, you've finally come back! You have no idea how worried we were during this time."
Miyan and Ruan Yiqing turned their attention to Huo Feng with mischievous smiles and said, "Well done, Huo Feng! How did you manage to make Yan'er warm up again? Be honest and teach us a few tricks; otherwise... heh heh..."
The two glanced at the wine jars on the table and then at Huo Feng, clearly indicating that if he didn't comply, they would force him to drink.
The atmosphere instantly heated up again as they continued drinking and joking until the Underground Restaurant closed for the night, helping each other back to their dorms.
Huo Feng woke up early the next day, rubbed his groggy head, and realized it was already noon. He smiled, feeling more at ease than he ever had before. He glanced at the others, who were still asleep; even Ruan Yiqing hadn’t gone home and was cuddled up with Miyan on the same bed.
Huo Feng took one last look at them and walked out of the room.

The Death Arena was actually not far from Thunderstrike City, located in a gorge about four to five kilometers east of it. This gorge once housed an abandoned palace that had been built by a powerful figure of the past. However, due to the incompetence of later generations, it was destroyed by enemies and fell into disrepair. Later, an unknown force established the Bloodthirsty Manor there.
Initially, the Bloodthirsty Manor attracted spectators by pitting slaves and magical beasts against each other in life-and-death battles for profit. As its notoriety grew, many prominent families began capturing their enemies and bringing them here to gamble on bloody fights.
Huo Feng headed east directly towards the Bloodthirsty Manor.
For Huo Feng, the four to five kilometers was nothing; he quickly arrived at the large gorge east of Thunderstrike City. As expected, there stood an ancient palace right in the center of the gorge, with a sign hanging prominently above its main entrance that read “Bloodthirsty Manor.”
Huo Feng walked straight towards the manor's main gate. When he reached it, he saw two burly men standing guard. Their imposing figures and expressions resembled those of magical beasts, instilling fear in anyone who looked at them. They were over two meters tall and their bodies were three times as wide as Huo Feng.
At a glance, Huo Feng could tell that both men were at least at the Earth Vein Realm Sixth Level. When they noticed Huo Feng approaching, their eyes glinted menacingly. They raised their dark hands to block his path and boomed, “Get lost! This place isn’t for kids like you to wander into. Take another step forward and I’ll slap you dead.”
With a smile on his face, Huo Feng stopped in front of them without any intention of leaving. Instead, he took out a black iron token from his Narcissistic Ring, which bore a bright red blood character. He held it up for the two men to see.
Upon seeing the token, the two men immediately withdrew their hands and stepped aside for Huo Feng, lowering their heads as they said, “Please enter, young master. Just go straight along the main path of the palace to reach where you need to meet someone.”
After retrieving his token, Huo Feng strode confidently inside. Following their directions, he walked along the path and soon saw two teams of guards flanking either side of him. Ahead was a palace door where he was stopped again. Once more, he produced his iron token. One of the guards took it and entered through the palace door.
A moment later, that guard returned with the token and said, “The master invites you in.”
Huo Feng took the sign and walked in, but upon entering, he discovered that there was a huge stone blocking the way, forcing him to go around it. As he navigated past the stone, he was immediately stunned by the sight before him.
He had expected this place to be mysterious and imposing, but instead, it was filled with lively music and dance. More than a dozen beautiful women, with stunning figures and vibrant appearances, were dancing in the hall, while a group of musicians played wonderful melodies nearby. The scene was truly delightful.
Above the hall, a transparent veil hung down, behind which he could vaguely see a man in a red robe embroidered with white flowers lying there. On the tea table beside him was something that looked like either wine or tea. The man rested one hand on his head and held a cup in the other, savoring its contents with an expression of utmost enjoyment.
Suddenly, the man set down his cup and softly uttered a few words, "Are you from Underground Soldier City?"
"That's right."
"This Underground Soldier City doesn't seem all that impressive; how is it that a kid like you has come here?" The man sat up and waved his hand, causing the dancers and musicians outside to stop and retreat.
He stretched lazily and walked out from behind the veil. Huo Feng was astonished by his appearance; if he were a woman, he would undoubtedly be a devastating beauty. However, Huo Feng also sensed that this man's power was on par with his own.
The man approached Huo Feng and said, "You really are fearless like a newborn calf. Since you've come here, let's see how you fare; another promising youth is about to meet his end here."
He then turned and walked outside, saying, "Follow me; I'll take you to the Death Arena."
