Suddenly, Duan Chongyang fell silent. He approached Duan Huan and closely followed him. At that moment, Duan Huan revealed a sinister smile and quickly headed towards the direction of the beast's roar with Duan Chongyang.
On the mountain, Ice Monarch Huo Feng lifted himself onto his broad shoulders and looked towards Xiaoyao Fortress, asking in confusion, "Big Brother, they are all here. Why don't we rush over and deal with them?"
"Don't rush, wait a bit longer. The important figures haven't arrived yet." Huo Feng could sense that there were a large number of people not far away in the forest, but Duan Huan was not among them.

He turned around abruptly and discovered that his subordinates were gradually being frozen into ice blocks, their faces displaying various expressions of terror. The two lesser elders on the ground were also struggling against the cold; their eyebrows and beards were frozen with Ice Flowers, and their lips had turned purple.

However, only Second Elder resembled Duan Chongyang closely; Second Elder was over by Bing as well, both having white hair and beards. Unable to comprehend this situation fully, Huo Feng looked at the somewhat wooden-faced individual and asked, "Who are you?"
Duan Chongyang didn’t say a word but charged straight at Huo Feng. A dark Origin Force swirled around his fists as he approached. This dark Origin Force transformed into swirling black mist surrounding Duan Chongyang as he engaged in close combat with Huo Feng.
Huo Feng quickly activated Phantom Steps to evade but found that Duan Chongyang was like a shadow he couldn’t shake off. In desperation, he activated Silver Yuan Defense System again to confront Duan Chongyang.
In an instant, their fists collided—one enveloped in dark misty Origin Force while Huo Feng’s fists shone silver. Both were knocked back repeatedly from the impact. However, Huo Feng was shocked; he realized that Duan Chongyang’s strength was not inferior to his own—he seemed even stronger. If it weren't for how quickly Huo Feng retreated, he would surely have been injured by that blow.
However, at that moment, Huo Feng's silver-white Origin Force suddenly transformed into the deep black color reminiscent of Duan Chongyang, gradually spreading from his fist to other areas. Huo Feng could feel that after the appearance of that deep black color, the Origin Force within his body was slowly weakening, prompting him to quickly retract the Silver Yuan Defense System.
At this point, Huo Feng had not expected that there would be such a person in Xiaoyao Fortress, but it felt strange, like a killing machine. From this Origin Force, Huo Feng judged that this was definitely not Duan Chongyang; at least, aside from the body, nothing else could belong to Duan Chongyang. Huo Feng dared not be careless; while flying, he used the Star Blade against Duan Chongyang. However, those silver-white Starlight Blades vanished upon contact with Duan Chongyang's body, failing to touch him accurately due to the swirling Black Elemental Power around him.
With no other choice, Huo Feng transformed into the Golden Wyvern and engaged in battle with Duan Chongyang. At the same time, he utilized the Blood Orchid Wings obtained from Bloodthirsty Manor in his homeland. This meant that Huo Feng effectively had five pairs of wings, allowing him to surpass Duan Chongyang in speed. This time, Huo Feng confidently charged towards Duan Chongyang.
Yet it was not as simple as Huo Feng had imagined. When he attempted to directly grab Duan Chongyang's head with his dragon claws, Duan Chongyang did not evade; instead, he pointed his right claw towards Huo Feng. Suddenly, a stream of black Origin Force shot out like a spear directly targeting Huo Feng's claw.
As it approached Huo Feng's claw, this deep black Origin Force solidified into a long spear of Origin Force, causing Huo Feng's claw to tingle painfully. After several exchanges, although Huo Feng’s defense as the Golden Wyvern was extremely strong, he still felt pain throughout his body from Duan Chongyang's Origin Force spear.
Huo Feng did not expect that there would be such a person hidden within Xiaoyao Fortress. For him to defeat his current opponent seemed almost impossible without using Blazing Flame Calamity.
