Huo Feng formed a seal with one hand, pressing it down towards the ground, while the other hand quickly pointed towards Duan Chongyang.

The two Combat Techniques activated simultaneously, and Duan Chongyang was instantly trapped within a black Star Domain. Huo Feng quietly observed this Star Domain while calculating how long it would take for Duan Chongyang to corrode it without detonating the Star Domain.
However, within just three breaths, the Star Domain completely dissolved, and Duan Chongyang reappeared before Huo Feng. As soon as he emerged, he raised the Dark Elemental Spear in his hand and thrust it towards Huo Feng.
Huo Feng stared at Duan Chongyang, standing still as if he had given up, waiting for Duan Chongyang's attack to come.
At that critical moment, just as Duan Chongyang's Dark Elemental Spear was about to pierce Huo Feng's chest, Huo Feng suddenly executed Meteoric Steps, and his figure vanished from the spot. At that moment, Duan Chongyang charged directly into the invisible array released by Huo Feng's "Punishment."
Immediately, a silver-white Origin Force halo rose around Duan Chongyang, trapping him inside. Above this halo, a yellow Origin Force giant sword was slowly descending; yet Duan Chongyang remained unfazed, merely glancing at the giant sword above before bowing his head. At that moment, all of his dark Origin Force gathered at the top of his head, forming a rapidly spinning black vortex as he stood there quietly waiting for the yellow Origin Force giant sword to fall.
Soon, the Origin Force giant sword touched the black vortex above Duan Chongyang's head. However, the giant sword neither pierced through Duan Chongyang's skull nor was blocked by the vortex; it seemed to be gradually swallowed by the black vortex instead.
Sure enough, when the yellow Origin Force giant sword made contact with the black vortex, it began to disappear section by section until the entire Origin Force giant sword was consumed by the black vortex. Following this, when the Yellow Energy Giant Sword vanished, the black vortex above Duan Chongyang's head also disappeared, replaced by Black Mist-like Energy that continued to erode the surrounding silver-white halo.
This entire process took only three breaths of time. Thus, Huo Feng concluded that Duan Chongyang could corrode Huo Feng's Combat Techniques in approximately three breaths. However, Huo Feng made a troubling discovery: his Origin Force was continuously depleting while it seemed that Duan Chongyang had not consumed any at all despite employing a combat method that overflowed with large amounts of Origin Force.
A bad premonition suddenly arose in Huo Feng's mind. Could it be that Duan Chongyang's corrosion of others' Combat Techniques was not simple? Was it actually absorption and assimilation? If so, Huo Feng would have no way to fight back and would undoubtedly lose.
Nevertheless, Huo Feng did not give up easily. He continued to use Phantom Steps to maneuver around Duan Chongyang while trying to devise effective methods to conserve his strength. Although this left him feeling pain all over his body, it was still bearable for Huo Feng in his dragon form.
Meanwhile, in the distance, Duan Huan and his two Oblivion Tempest elders could have captured Bing with their full strength; however, Duan Huan did not exert himself completely. He observed the battle situation on Huo Feng's side and felt confident. While fighting, he kept glancing at Huo Feng and noticed that Huo Feng was entirely in a state of fatigue and defense. He then withdrew from the battle against Bing and looked at Huo Feng saying: "Aren't you quite capable? What's wrong now? Hahaha..."
Huo Feng shot him a glare. He realized that when he didn't use Combat Techniques, Duan Chongyang's Origin Force still depleted; however, continuing like this would inevitably be disadvantageous for him. At this moment, he indeed thought of a method: using rapid and continuous Combat Techniques attacks one after another; Duan Chongyang would definitely not be able to absorb and assimilate them all.
Huo Feng stopped running around and quietly looked at Duan Chongyang, which made Duan Huan frown. He completely ignored the situation with Bing and focused solely on Huo Feng, wanting to see what method he would use to deal with Duan Chongyang. However, he firmly believed that no matter what Combat Techniques Huo Feng used, he could not escape the fate of being absorbed by Duan Chongyang.
Duan Chongyang, however, remained expressionless as he sprang into action again, raising his dark Origin Force spear to attack Huo Feng. At that moment, the Narcissistic Ring on Huo Feng's index finger flashed, and the Starlight Sword appeared in his hand.
Duan Huan was initially delighted to see Huo Feng wielding a wooden sword, but his smile quickly faded as he murmured, "Could this be the wooden sword from the Wanmu Family of Treeheart City? But what good will it do?"
Although Duan Huan thought this item was precious, he believed it would be ineffective against the current Duan Chongyang. Yet, he also trusted that Huo Feng was not someone who would act out of desperation. Still, he felt anxious because Huo Feng had shocked him too many times.
Then a miraculous scene unfolded. Huo Feng raised the Starlight Sword and pointed it at Duan Chongyang. In an instant, countless branches sprouted from the wooden sword, adorned with delicate green leaves, making it look like Huo Feng was holding a sapling.
Immediately after, numerous small Silver Energy orbs grew on the branches. Duan Huan could sense their power and couldn't help but thank his ancestors for coming here; without them, he wouldn't have been able to create such a formidable Duan Chongyang. Without this, Huo Feng could have easily flattened Xiaoyao Fortress with just that wooden sword.
As Duan Chongyang's Dark Elemental Spear was about to strike Huo Feng, Huo Feng shook the wooden sword in his hand, and dozens of Origin Force orbs shot towards Duan Chongyang in an orderly manner.
"Starfruit!"
The first orb collided with Duan Chongyang's Origin Force spear and immediately turned it into a black vortex that swiftly devoured the "Starfruit." The second orb followed suit and was also absorbed instantly. This continued until the seventh orb passed by; Huo Feng saw that half of the "Starfruit" had been absorbed while the other half exploded. By the time the tenth orb reached him, Duan Chongyang could no longer absorb it. The orb exploded, creating a gap in the dark vortex.
However, there were still over a hundred "Starfruits" on Huo Feng's Starlight Sword. He continued to fire "Starfruits" at Duan Chongyang. At this point, Duan Chongyang was unable to withstand them any longer and began to retreat continuously. The "Starfruits" struck various parts of his body relentlessly, causing his overflowing Black Elemental Power to become fragmented and leaving several blood holes in his body.
Duan Huan felt a surge of anxiety; this kind of attack was terrifying and showed no signs of exhausting Huo Feng. Since it was his first time using such a trump card, he worried whether Duan Chongyang could endure it.
Just then, Duan Chongyang crashed down from the sky and lay motionless on the ground. Duan Huan panicked and exclaimed, "You... how could the Soul of Comfort from Treeheart City be here? And how could you possess such strong abilities?"
Huo Feng ignored him and quietly observed Duan Chongyang on the ground because he sensed that Duan Chongyang was still alive—though weak—he was still breathing. What worried Huo Feng most was whether Duan Chongyang had any other special abilities left.
Duan Huan also sensed that Duan Chongyang was not dead and felt relieved; he knew that as long as he wasn't dead, he would recover quickly and be able to fight normally again. He laughed heartily and said, "Hahaha... your efforts are futile now; I wonder if you can still win against me."
Huo Feng completely disregarded Duan Huan and flew down again, raising his Starlight Sword once more to unleash more "Starfruits" at the lying Duan Chongyang.
Seeing Huo Feng's actions, Duan Huan felt helpless and dared not intervene lightly. Compared to when they were at Death Mountain, Huo Feng seemed even more terrifying now with such a powerful artifact in hand. At this moment, all Duan Huan could do was anxiously watch Duan Chongyang below and hope for a miracle to occur.
As expected, when Huo Feng's first Starfruit reached Duan Chongyang's body, a change occurred. Huo Feng realized he could no longer see Duan Chongyang's body; all that remained was a mass of dark mist. As Huo Feng's Starfruit continuously struck the black mist, countless holes appeared in it, allowing light to shine through completely.
However, Huo Feng could still sense the aura of the black mist rising, and those holes quickly merged back together. Huo Feng frowned and stopped his actions, realizing that Duan Chongyang was now in an invincible state, an immortal being.
Huo Feng looked at the thirty or so Starfruits left on his Starlight Sword. If he used them all now, it would be a waste, so he had no choice but to store them in the Narcissistic Ring and retreat to a distance, frowning as he watched the mass of black mist.
At this moment, Duan Huan went completely insane, laughing maniacally: "Hahaha... This continent will be ruled by me alone! I never expected that at such a critical moment, this Fellow actually evolved. Perhaps I will have the strength to battle against the Three Ancient Sects in the future! Hahaha..."
In that instant, Duan Huan's confidence surged, and his ambitions were fully exposed.
The mass of black mist that was Duan Chongyang immediately transformed into a black chain, with dark spears at both ends. The chain began to stretch out continuously, and then one of the black spears shot toward Huo Feng at an astonishing speed. Huo Feng couldn't even see its trajectory; its speed could definitely surpass Huo Feng's Meteoric Steps.
Huo Feng dared not be careless and relied on his instincts to perform a Meteoric Steps backward. However, he felt a burning sensation on his shoulder. Before he could react, another black spear approached rapidly. Huo Feng had no choice but to use Meteoric Steps toward the direction where the previous spear had flown past.
He managed to dodge this one successfully. Just as Huo Feng prepared to maximize the use of Blood Orchid Wings and summon three pairs of them, he found that the chains connected to the black spears flying past him had tightly bound his body, rendering him unable to move.
At that moment, two terrifying black spears were rapidly approaching his back. Huo Feng wanted to move but couldn't budge an inch. Anguish filled his heart as he roared in frustration: "Is this how it ends for me? No, I refuse!" Huo Feng let out a Dragon Roar, causing the entire mountain to tremble violently.
