Van Loon Holding a bowl of chicken soup, leisurely walking on the road. The morning breeze brushed his cheeks, bringing a fresh feeling. He watched the passersby, each with their own stories and purposes written on their faces. At this brief intersection, they were perfect strangers, flashing in each other's lives and quietly leaving, heading towards their own destinations. 0

The crowd around him was bustling, but his heart was very calm. He didn't think much, just quietly watched everything on the street. The traffic was constant, people were busy, and each person's face depicted their own story. Van Loon reached the traffic light, stopped and waited for the light to turn green. During this brief moment of waiting, he quietly observed everything around him, feeling the rhythm and atmosphere of the city. As the light turned green, he followed the crowd across the street, continuing his journey. His heart had little fluctuation, just faintly feeling the calm of this moment and the rhythm of life. 0

However, this calm state of mind was suddenly shattered by the sound of car tires screeching and police sirens. His heart instantly raced, the blaring sirens echoing through the tranquil street, as if reminding people that quiet everyday life could be disrupted at any moment. Van Loon looked up in the direction of the commotion not far away, where a crowd was gathering, clearly something had happened there. The police sirens grew louder and Van Loon could feel the car speeding in his direction. 0

For some reason, a sense of unease suddenly surged in Van Loon's heart. His steps involuntarily quickened, wanting to hurry home and escape this sudden chaos. However, the police sirens seemed to be chasing him, getting closer and closer until he felt the car right behind him, its lights illuminating his path. He couldn't help but quicken his pace, unable to calm his heart. This sudden turn of events had turned the previously peaceful street into a tense and uneasy place, pulling Van Loon's heartstrings tightly. 0

Van Loon quickened his pace on the zebra crossing. Originally, he just wanted to get home quickly and hand the chicken soup to his father. Suddenly, his heart started beating very violently, a feeling he had never experienced before. His intuition told him that the situation behind him seemed to be not good. He turned back slightly to confirm what was happening behind him, but this turn made him see a chilling scene. 0

A truck riddled with bullet holes was speeding towards him, only a few meters away, too close to evade. What terrified him even more was that several police cars were following the truck, their sirens becoming unusually piercing at that moment, and the lights making it almost impossible for him to keep his eyes open. His heart jumped to his throat in an instant, and the whole world seemed to slow down. All he could think of was the truck's huge tires and the sound of them rolling rapidly on the ground. 0

Van Loon felt as if time had come to a standstill in this moment, each passing second bringing him closer to death. His mind was blank, not knowing what to do. He knew that at this moment, he was completely unable to escape the impending danger. His hands unconsciously gripped the chicken soup tightly, but his body seemed frozen, unable to move. His breathing became rapid, and his heartbeat became unnaturally pronounced, each beat a reminder of death drawing near. 0

A sense of despair and helplessness swept over him, a feeling he had never experienced before. He knew that at this moment, he had no control over his fate, only able to let destiny take its course. He watched as the cart approached closer and closer, his eyes filled with fear and disbelief. He couldn't believe that life had arranged such a plot for him at this moment, forcing him to face such danger. 0

At this moment, he could only helplessly close his eyes and wait for the arrangement of fate. Involuntarily, the faces of his family flashed through his mind. His father was waiting for his chicken soup at home, but he might never be able to return home. His heart was filled with regret and helplessness, but he was powerless and could only silently pray in his heart, hoping for a miracle to appear and allow him to escape from this danger. 0

However, the front of the freight car still mercilessly crashed into Van Loon. In that instant, Van Loon felt a tremendous force pushing him into the air. His body uncontrollably tumbled in the air until he heavily fell to the ground. The immense pain seemed to instantly engulf all his consciousness. He struggled to open his eyes, but all he saw was blur and darkness. 0

The surrounding sounds became unusually slow and quiet, as if the world had entered another dimension. In this abnormal moment of stillness, Van Loon could only faintly hear the distant cries and screams of pedestrians on the street, as if those sounds were coming from another world, distant and hollow. He struggled to open his eyes, to see the world clearly in front of him, but his eyelids felt heavy, as if a force prevented him from lifting them. 0

His breathing became difficult, each breath feeling like it was consuming all his strength. His body turned cold, as if all the warmth had been drawn away, leaving only the pervasive pain spreading through his consciousness, making it almost unbearable. He wanted to shout, to struggle, but his body seemed no longer his own, completely out of his control. He felt every muscle twitching, every cell screaming. 0

His mind began to replay the bits and pieces of his life, the image of his father waiting for his chicken soup, his dreams and ideals in this world, the unfulfilled wishes, and the people who loved him and whom he loved. Each scene made him feel immense heartache and regret. He was unwilling to accept it; he had too many unfinished matters. But now, he couldn't even shout, couldn't even struggle. 0

A sense of despair began to creep into his heart, feeling the end of life approaching step by step. In his powerless despair, there was a faint glimmer of hope in his heart, hoping for a miracle, hoping for someone to rescue him from this disaster. However, as time passed, he felt the strength of life slowly draining from his body, his consciousness gradually fading, until finally, he felt a darkness and coldness completely enveloping him. 0
