"That's a classic villain's parting remark before making an escape," Wang Long sighed, shaking his head.
"Everyone, don't celebrate too early," Shunshen's calm voice interrupted. "Abyssal Demon, I never expected that breaking the Gateway to the Abyss would also release you!"
A chill ran through the crowd. Aside from Evil and Malicious and Dao Lord Wu Jue, everyone else had heard Wang Long mention the Abyssal Demon and knew he was an Ancient Demon trapped deep in the Great Gobi by the divine beings long ago. "While we may not be able to match him in strength right now, we at least have the ability to fight back," Dao Lord Wu Jue agreed with Song Shuping's caution.
