A night quickly passed, and dawn was breaking. 0

The next day, when Ye Chuanze woke up, he felt a throbbing pain in his head. Rubbing his forehead with one hand, he sighed inwardly, realizing that the feeling of a hangover was truly unpleasant! He promised himself not to drink so much next time. As he threw off the covers, he discovered... he was completely naked! 0

Huh? Huh? Who took off his clothes? 0

Ye Chuanze furrowed his brows in thought, trying to recall what happened last night. After much contemplation, he found no trace of memory. His recollection broke off at the moment he got drunk and collapsed on the table; everything that followed was a complete blank. 0

That's right, he completely did not remember what had happened! 0

So whether it was drunken slip-ups, embarrassing moments, or reckless behavior... he couldn't recall any of it! Although Ye Chuanze believed his drinking manners were quite good—after all, one's drinking ability reflects one's character—he also knew that unexpected things could happen. A sense of dread began to creep in as he thought about his own nakedness; this was bad... he started to imagine impure scenarios. 0

Ye Chuanze quickly shook his head, trying to dispel those impure thoughts from his mind. Anyone could indulge in such fantasies, but he absolutely could not entertain thoughts about Hongjun! That was Hongjun, the Dao Ancestor! A person as rare as a snow lotus on Tianshan Mountain or a flower on a high peak; just looking at him felt like an insult, let alone imagining something like this. It would be a sin deserving of death, and he would deserve to be struck by lightning! 0

Ye Chuanze slapped his forehead hard. They say drinking leads to trouble; he never believed it before, but now he did! After such wild imaginings, how could he face Hongjun? Tragically, he realized he could no longer look Hongjun in the eye. The only relief was that the person he drank with last night wasn't a woman. If it had been a woman and something had really happened while drunk, then he would have had to take responsibility. 0

Wait... something doesn't add up? If the partner was male, does that mean there’s no need for responsibility after drunken antics? Ye Chuanze thought that since they were both men, no one would be at a disadvantage; real men shouldn't be so petty. 0

Ye Chuanze had always been open-minded and did not hold onto outdated views. He neither discriminated against nor rejected homosexual relationships between men; however, he also did not accept them for himself. He always considered himself heterosexual, even though he had never liked any woman in the past or present. But then again, he hadn't liked any man either. According to the principle of yin and yang harmony, he believed himself to be attracted to women. 0

Even when surrounded by many men who engaged in same-sex relationships during his time in the gay community, he remained steadfast in his beliefs and proudly identified as a heterosexual among a sea of homosexuals. 0

Even though someone once told him, "Every man believes himself to be heterosexual until he meets the man he truly likes," he still firmly believed that he would never fall for a rugged man of the same gender; towards other men, he only felt hostility and competitive spirit. 0

Little did he know that the highest form of friendship between men is to overpower each other and engage in intense rivalry! What is called hostility and competitive spirit ultimately transforms into boundless affection. 0

Ye Chuanze sat on the bed in a daze for quite some time. He still felt somewhat concerned about what happened last night; anyone who woke up to find themselves completely naked would surely feel uneasy! After pondering for a while longer, he finally slapped his palm decisively and convinced himself that there was definitely nothing untoward between him and Hongjun; nothing had happened! The evidence... wasn't the evidence simply that his bed was clean without a trace left behind and his clothes neatly folded beside him? 0

Imagine if something really happened last night; the bed should be messy and filled with various ambiguous traces, and the room would be permeated with the scent of intimacy. Clothes should be scattered on the floor, possibly even torn apart by a man's beastly nature. Moreover... Hongjun should be lying weakly in bed, unable to get up! He shouldn't be that useless; after a night, he should still have enough strength to get up and leave... 0

Ye Chuanze started slapping himself again, feeling guilty... I have once again defiled Dao Ancestor. Heaven above, it was truly unintentional! I swear, I would never dare to have any improper thoughts about Dao Ancestor! 0

He felt he couldn't continue like this; otherwise, something would eventually go wrong. Either he would become neurotic from overthinking or be struck down by Heaven for the crime of disrespecting his teacher and defiling Dao Ancestor. Thus, Ye Chuanze swiftly turned over, jumped out of bed, and began putting on his clothes. 0

The clothes were made from deep-sea shark silk, impervious to water and fire, and not a speck of dust clung to them; they were clean and didn't require washing. This was simply a blessing for lazy people. Ye Chuanze indicated that he had been wearing this outfit since his transformation and had never changed it. He had no psychological burden or cleanliness obsession, which was truly wonderful. Unlike Hongjun, who despite wearing the same Purple Robe for thousands of years, changed it daily. He had personally witnessed Yaochi wash and dry Hongjun's clothes. 0

Ye Chuanze had deeply envied and hated Hongjun. Yaochi was incredibly capable—she could cook in the kitchen and manage the household, excelling in embroidery, sewing, and laundry. The only shortcoming was that she couldn't warm the bed, but that could be overlooked. He began to ponder whether he should return to Buzhou Mountain and enlighten a few young disciples to take care of the door and clean the Cave. However, the immediate priority was to build a Cave. Now that he had transformed, he could no longer reside by a lake as before. A grand and elegant Cave was essential; it was a matter of face. 0

After getting dressed, Ye Chuanze discovered a plain white handkerchief pressed at the bottom of his clothes. He paused in surprise. Picking up the handkerchief to examine it, he noticed its corners were embroidered with purple cloud patterns—those were unique to Hongjun's clothing. This handkerchief must have been left behind by Hongjun. 0

Suddenly, Ye Chuanze's expression changed dramatically as he recalled... that handkerchief he had accidentally torn apart was indeed tucked inside his clothes! Well then, there was no need for further speculation. Last night, it must have been Hongjun who brought him back after he got drunk beyond recognition; he must have changed his clothes too. Consequently, Hongjun discovered his lie—the handkerchief he had hidden in his clothes had effectively torn apart his deception and slapped him in the face. 0

But what did this mean for Hongjun? Taking away the torn handkerchief while leaving behind an intact one—what was the intention behind that? 0

After thinking for a long time without coming up with an answer, Ye Chuanze decided not to dwell on it anymore. He wasn't one to pursue matters to their end; sometimes not knowing was better than knowing. He tucked the handkerchief into his chest pocket for safekeeping. 0

Having dressed himself but noticing his long black hair cascading down messily—his hair was thick and troublesome if not managed properly—he realized he still hadn't learned how to tie it up properly. In the past, he would shamelessly ask Hongjun to do it for him. But today, he felt too embarrassed to see him again. After all that chaotic thinking, he needed some time to calm down and sort out his emotions before meeting Hongjun. 0

Frowning after pondering for a while, he finally found a ribbon. He simply tied his hair back with it, letting it fall loosely around his waist. This way, it wouldn't be scattered everywhere causing inconvenience. After adjusting his clothes, he opened the door and stepped outside. 0

After walking a short distance into the courtyard, he saw the Three Pure Ones sitting at a stone table enjoying tea and chatting. 0

He raised an eyebrow slightly as he approached them and said, "Good day to you three senior brothers." 0

Upon hearing this, the Three Pure Ones looked at him. Ye Chuanze sensed that Sky-Connecting's gaze towards him was somewhat strange and couldn't help but ask, "Is there something you want to say, Brother Sky-Connecting?" 0

With an odd look in his eyes and words caught in his throat, Sky-Connecting finally said, "It's nothing; how did you sleep last night?" 0

Ye Chuanze smiled upon hearing this and said, "Very well, what is it?" 0

"Nothing," Sky-Connecting shook his head and thought to himself, surprisingly, I slept very well. What a fortunate life! 0

Ye Chuanze sat at the stone table and chatted over tea with Three Pure Ones. 0

Suddenly, Laozi said, "Brother Ye, now that you have successfully transformed, what are your plans for the future?" 0

Ye Chuanze looked at him and replied, "Naturally, I seek to pursue the Dao and reach a higher realm. Transformation is merely the beginning of the path of cultivation and enlightenment. The road ahead is long and arduous; I must remain focused on the Dao, neither arrogant nor impatient, in pursuit of the Great Dao!" 0

"That is excellent," Laozi nodded and said. "The path of cultivation and enlightenment is fraught with dangers. You have already faced numerous tribulations just from your transformation. In the future, there will surely be even more hardships and dangers. I hope you can maintain your original intention and remain undisturbed." 0

"I will heed my senior brother's teachings; I will remember this in my heart," Ye Chuanze replied, feeling increasingly heavy-hearted. 0

He had originally thought that the tribulation of transformation was the greatest challenge he would face. However, after successfully transforming, he realized that this was merely a small trial among countless tribulations to come. The challenges he would encounter in the future would be even more numerous, difficult, and perilous. 0

Without favor from the Heavenly Dao, lacking fortune by his side, and born against the heavens, he would ultimately have to endure countless tribulations. 0

For a moment, Ye Chuanze lost his desire for tea, his expression growing slightly somber. 0

Suddenly, Haotian ran over. He first greeted Three Pure Ones, then turned to Ye Chuanze and said, "Brother Ye, the master is looking for you. You should come with me quickly!" 0

Upon hearing this, Ye Chuanze was surprised and asked, "The master is looking for me?" 0

"Yes," Haotian replied. 0

Ye Chuanze furrowed his brows and asked, "What does he want with me?" 0

"I don't know that; you should hurry with me. The master is waiting for you!" Haotian urged impatiently. 0

"Calm down first and have a cup of tea." Ye Chuanze poured him a cup of tea and said, "I'll just go with you, but you have to tell me, Master, how is he feeling? What's the look on his face?" When the tea-drinking Haotian heard this, he spit out the tea with a "pop" sound. Ye Chuanze quickly avoided it and said: "Why are you so careless that you can choke even when you drink tea?" "Brother, please stop joking, okay?" Haotian looked confused, "Master's face , always has that indifferent expression, or is incomprehensible and expressionless. Aren't you embarrassing me by asking this?" Ye Chuanze Hearing this, he stroked his chin with one hand, thought for a while, and nodded. : "Yeah, forget it, I won't ask you anymore. Let's go! Don't keep Master waiting." Haotian put down the tea cup and led the way, Ye Chuanze followed. As he walked forward, Ye Chuanze thought to himself, Hongjun never calls people forward for no reason, why is he calling him? 0
