The night of the second day finally descended, as natural as the transition between day and night. But for the Qin Army in the camp, every minute and every second felt like an eternity.

At this moment, in front of the Qin Army camp outside, figures moving in the firelight became prime targets for Zhao Army.
Once the cover on the wall was compromised, it would immediately lead to heavy casualties among the Soldiers trying to extinguish the fire. Due to poor visibility caused by the flames outside, everything was pitch black. The Zhao Army hidden in darkness could hardly be seen as long as they refrained from shooting fire arrows.
Meng Wu heard Li Xin's frantic call for support from below the wall and immediately broke into a sweat. He was about to jump down with his crossbow when he saw someone next to him shoot a burning arrow toward a shadow across.

Luzi saw Meng Wu covered in sweat and turned to look at the Soldiers running back and forth. "What time is it!? Every extra person adds to our strength!"
Meng Wu gritted his teeth and continued to persuade, "If something happens to you, it won't matter if this camp holds out in the end."
Seeing burning arrows occasionally flying into the camp overhead, Luzi let out a long sigh. "If our Fortifications fall, we will all be slaughtered by the Zhao Army that rushes in afterward."
Meng Wu waved his hand. "Don't worry about that! I will stay here. If I notice anything wrong, I will send someone to cover your escape." After saying this, he turned to leave but stumbled slightly due to the sudden movement, stopping to regain his balance.

Knowing that there were medical supplies in the Main Tent, Luzi ignored the arrows whizzing past him. He bent down and hoisted the still mumbling Meng Wu, who insisted he was fine, onto his back and staggered toward the tent. "Sigh! I told you to eat less usually, but you never listen. Now I can barely carry you."
