At this moment, Wild King City was indeed as Sun Thirteen had just said, with the Army pressing in like a house of cards about to collapse. It was winter, and with the late-night siege, even if news reached the nearby stationed troops, it would only be heard by morning. The closest forces to this grain city were fifty miles away, and by the time they organized their Troops to come for rescue, it would be tomorrow afternoon or evening.
Luzi squinted up at the dark sky, letting the soft raindrops fall upon him. As the cool sensation reached his heart, he had already decided to stay. He raised his hand to signal Li Xin at the high point to come down and see his two brothers who had been by his side day and night.

Sun Thirteen had come with the intention of notifying Luzi to break out together. Hearing that Luzi had no intention of leaving the city, he quickly said, "General! Come with us!"
Luzi smiled slightly and glanced toward the direction of their pursuers. "No matter what, I will kill that Fake Zhao Kuo! You all go! Protect all the supplies in Wild King City; I leave it to you two!"
Li Xin grinned upon hearing this. He reached over and took two quivers off Sun Thirteen's back, saying with a smile, "If it weren't for protecting Grand Commander’s safe departure, my supplies wouldn't be missing either. I obey orders! Take care!"
Sun Thirteen had seen Fake Zhao Kuo's skills firsthand. If Luzi didn't go after that person, he might still hold on until Reinforcements arrived. He intended to persuade Luzi further; after all, as long as one preserved their life, there would be opportunities later. But seeing Li Xin complicate matters only fueled his anger. Lowering his voice, he said angrily, "Are you all insane!? Those people are already within the realm of top experts; each one is not easy to deal with..."
Li Xin raised his hand to silence Sun Thirteen and turned to Luzi with a nonchalant smile. "Fighting means facing off against experts for it to feel worthwhile! All day playing chess with a stinky chess basket only leads to worse moves!"
If Luzi charged in alone against dozens of opponents, it would surely end in disaster. He wanted Li Xin to leave with Sun Thirteen because it was likely going to be a life-or-death situation afterward. Even if he needed someone to stay behind now, he couldn't drag his brothers into danger.
Li Xin understood Luzi's intentions well; since they were taking risks on a mission, he certainly didn't want his brothers involved in danger. However, if he left just to save himself, he knew he'd never find peace in his life again. Rather than living in torment every day, it was better to have a good fight today. If by chance they won, he'd have something worth boasting about for life. But if they lost... who cares? Better to die early and be reborn!
At that moment, seeing Sun Thirteen sighing deeply, Li Xin gestured for him to look back at the towering flames. He then went over to embrace him lightly and gave him a playful punch. "Let's hurry! Luzi reached for the long sword at his waist and nodded at Sun Thirteen. "Take care!"

Seeing Sun Thirteen climb over the wall, Luzi immediately jumped up with Li Xin to reach a higher vantage point. Since there were no reinforcements, they would have to start without support. The target's residence was an ordinary south-facing house. To the east lay a street wide enough for two carts, but it was not a main thoroughfare. The eastern courtyard gate opened onto this street, connecting to an eastern wing.
The western side of this building was attached to a neighboring house, with only a wall separating their southern courtyards. Behind it was an alley; however, there was no need to worry about these people escaping through the windows. The architectural style in the city was typical of northern designs, with small flat windows on the back walls to ensure warmth in winter and coolness in summer.
Once they made their move, the only escape routes left for these people would be east or west. This allowed them to set up long-range sniping positions on high ground directly south of the house, effectively sealing off three directions of escape. As for any attempts to flee onto the rooftops, their lack of cover would make them prime targets.
Luzi calculated their current position and quietly asked, "This spot should be good; the only downside is that the target is over sixty meters away. What do you think? Do we have a chance at this distance?"
The excellent range of the Li Family's ancestral bows could almost rival that of Zhao Crossbows. Sixty meters was no problem; even one hundred meters would be manageable. Luzi's question wasn't about whether they could shoot that far but rather about the flight time of the arrows. When faced with many skilled opponents scattering like birds and beasts, closer distances were obviously better. However, being closer also posed greater risks for the shooter.
Professionalism was evident at this moment. During his earlier reconnaissance, Li Xin had already marked down all shooting parameters. Hearing Luzi's question now, he quickly assured him that everything was under control. He then secured one quiver in the snow and pulled out most of the arrows from another quiver strapped to his back, sticking them into the snow piles on the roof—three rows in total. He leaned another quiver against the chimney at one end of these three rows of arrows, establishing a final sniping position.
With the perimeter secured, all that remained was to stir up trouble. Luzi stood up and patted Li Xin on the shoulder before using his agility technique to leap out. A few jumps brought him to the courtyard wall of their target's residence; he then floated down into the yard. Crouching low and listening intently to his surroundings, he confirmed there were no anomalies before standing up and walking toward the front door.
Li Xin watched as Luzi approached the door, knowing that it was time to reveal their true intentions. Half-kneeling in the shadow on the roof, he moved his nearly frozen fingers to warm them up. With his left hand extended flat holding the bow and his right hand gripping three feathered arrows, he completed his shooting preparation movements and tilted his head to recalculate their movement distances back and forth. Once everything was firmly fixed in his memory, he took a deep breath and merged his senses with the world around him.
