Do not underestimate Luzi's skills compared to the generals of Military. At the very least, he has honed his abilities in combat. When confronted by Qin General Zhang Ping, he does not respond but instead uses a swift maneuver to knock him off as well. Without turning back to finish him off, he sets his sights on pursuing Luzi's escape route.
Naturally infuriated by this sudden setback, Zhang Ping pulls himself up onto his horse after adjusting his armor. He loudly commands his remaining Soldiers to block the advancing Zhao Army Cavalry, then spurs his horse in hot pursuit of Zhou Zhi.
Most of the generals in the Qin Army's Cavalry Unit have studied at the Anyang Cavalry Command Academy in Zhao State, and naturally, they are equipped with the Qin State Crossbow. It is called a Crossbow because the Qin State artificers designed it specifically for cavalry based on the length of the crossbow held by the rider.
Unlike the regular Crossbow, the Qin State Crossbow is narrower but longer. This design is more beneficial for riders, allowing them to hold it with one hand while avoiding a front-heavy situation. This is crucial since cavalry often needs to operate their crossbows with one hand during combat.
Despite this small modification, it significantly enhances the stability of the Qin State Crossbow during shooting compared to the Zhao Crossbow. Zhang Ping, who was pursuing them, found it quite challenging. He quickly drew his cavalry crossbow from his back and aimed it at the Zhao General ahead.
The excellent stability control made Zhou Zhi feel overwhelmed. He had no choice but to abandon his pursuit and occasionally shoot backward. The two exchanged shots evenly matched.
Feeling a sudden decrease in pressure, Lu Zi spotted a mountain path ahead and urged his horse up toward the summit. Zhou Zhi followed closely behind, shooting an arrow backward before leaping onto the mountain path. Confirming the direction of the Qin Army Commander, he spurred his horse forward to chase again.
Zhang Ping dodged an incoming crossbow bolt and ignored the sound of arrows embedding into tree trunks behind him. As he jumped onto the mountain path, he found no sign of anyone left on the road. It was impossible to tell whether General Lu and that Zhao General had gone up or down the mountain; there were no traces left.

They agreed that whoever found the Grand General first would send someone to notify the other party.
The plan was set, and the two teams dared not delay any longer. After exchanging greetings, they immediately split into two groups to begin their search.
This area was the outermost edge of the battlefield where Qin Zhao's two armies clashed, with both teams focusing on the center and completely ignoring the periphery. As a result, the rescue team did not encounter any soldiers along the way, making it impossible to confirm whether anyone had passed through recently.
Even so, Zhang Ping, who had received reinforcements, did not dare to be too ostentatious. He proceeded cautiously, trying to avoid any unexpected situations.
