Hearing the two generals at a loss, Li Xin tightened his grip on the hard bow he was holding. He had previously suggested to Luzi that it would be best to keep some arrows on hand, but that suggestion was dismissed as something only second-line troops would do.

Every time Li Xin just jumped into cover, a wave of Arrow Rain would follow with a dense 'thud thud...' sound. Li Xin hid behind one cover and began signaling Old General Li Li for communication. After confirming that the old man understood, he got up and dashed toward the next cover.
Luzi only breathed out when he saw Li Xin successfully jump into the city gate opening. He sighed inwardly; truly heaven had eyes! Just a moment's hesitation could have made all the difference; each dodge was almost simultaneous with the arrival of arrows.
Watching as the wooden city gate opened slightly before closing again with a thud, Luzi wiped his sweat after confirming that Li Xin had exited the city and asked, "General Wang! What did General Li just tell you?"
Wang Jian, with his heart in his throat, let out a heavy breath and looked up at the blue sky dotted with white clouds. "My lord will know soon enough; for now, I cannot say."
What could be so important that even I cannot be informed!?
Lu Zigang wanted to question someone but ultimately held back. This was because, on the hillside to his front left, in the direction of Hai Time, a figure appeared, hunched over and sprinting towards the mountain top.

After confirming that the Zhao Army had not violated any rules, Li Xin raised his hand and waved it back to signal that all was well. He then crawled onto the damp grass to find a vantage point for better observation.
Seeing that Li Xin had successfully reached a high spot and was relaying information back, Lu Zigang proudly said to Wang Jian, "What does professionalism mean? This is it! If I had gone up there, not only would I struggle to see far, but it would take me a whole day just to find the Zhao Army's Observation Post among the bushes!"
What Lu Zigang didn't expect was that after saying this for so long, he finally heard Wang Jian respond.
