Rao Jie was puzzled. "What is it?"
Senior Long Yong: "I heard from Director Ye that you’re living with Professor Wu? Are you two... dating?"
Long Yong was very serious about such matters; he was disciplined and would never disturb Rao Jie if she had a partner.
Rao Jie stared at the message in shock, unable to comprehend how Director Ye could have mentioned such a thing to Senior Long Yong. Was it an innocent slip or intentional gossip?
Thinking of Ye Ming's carefree attitude made Rao Jie feel helpless. She just hoped he hadn’t shared this with more people. If Senior Long Yong came to confirm it and others found out, it might spread wildly—who knows how it would be distorted by then!

So Rao Jie covered up her family situation and explained that due to personal reasons, she had become homeless, which led to the current circumstances—including why she was living together with Professor Wu and why he was tutoring her.
