Before him lay an endless Fire Sea, with trees standing like gigantic torches, thick black smoke billowing skyward like a dragon. The heavy clouds were pushed apart, revealing a pale crescent moon that coldly illuminated this Hell on Earth... everywhere there were screams, the terrified cries of villagers facing death...
The scene shifted, and all around was the fierce blaze of burning void. A massive fire dragon took shape in the flames, opening its enormous fiery mouth to swallow everything.
Li Hong heard himself screaming, "Don't come closer..."
In the haze, someone submerged him in icy water, and the scorching heat instantly vanished, leaving him feeling cold all over. The flames finally began to die down. Li Hong sighed in relief.
However, it wasn't long before he found himself back in that terrifying molten Fire Lake, surrounded by bubbling lava. In the center of Fire Lake, a Wingless Ship was sinking. This time, it wasn't him on the Wingless Ship, but his younger brother!
His younger brother stood helplessly on the Wingless Ship, which was slowly descending into the Fire Lake. His clothes were on fire, and he was engulfed in flames, resembling a giant human torch as he desperately shouted, "Big Brother! Save me!"
"Second Brother!" Li Hong roared, suddenly opening his eyes.
Someone quickly approached and touched his forehead, cheerfully saying, "It's alright, your fever has broken."
The face before him became clearer—it was his master, Spirit Stone. "Second Brother! Second Brother!" Li Hong struggled to sit up.
Spirit Stone pressed Li Hong back onto the bed: "Old Seven is fine; you all have been saved." He pointed to the side.
There lay a person covered from head to toe with a damp white cloth—it was Chuxiong. His chest was rising and falling slightly, and Li Hong immediately felt relieved. Lying flat with gritted teeth, he noticed that he too was covered from head to toe with a damp white cloth, the scent of medicine filling the air. The tearing pain throughout his body had lessened significantly.
Li Hong raised his right hand to touch his left arm. The broken bone no longer throbbed painfully; instead, it felt itchy and numb as it began to heal. He felt reassured and asked, "Ask the Way: Master, how did you find us?"
Spirit Stone's eyes darkened with fatigue: "You two actually entered the Fire Cave during the eruption of the Fire Spirit Eye. You really are reckless. If it weren't for the discovery by Guardian Mountain Beast Zhu Feng, you would have been done for! Just thinking about it makes me break out in a cold sweat. But how did you end up there?" His gaze deepened as he seriously asked, "Old Six, tell me the truth. I have never mentioned the forbidden area of Fire Cave to you; how did you get there?"
The forbidden area of Fire Cave? It truly was a forbidden place; not just anyone could go there. As Li Hong thought about it, he broke out in a cold sweat as well. That Flame Bird was actually Guardian Mountain Beast Zhu Feng! It saved him—could it be that the Beast Taming Technique actually worked?
He wanted to ask more questions when someone hurriedly pushed open the door. Upon seeing that Li Hong had awakened, the person displayed a mix of surprise and joy, exclaiming, "Old Six is awake! That's wonderful!"
"Chu Qiu!" Li Hong's eyes were almost spitting fire as he fixed his gaze on that detestable face, his anger surging to his head.
Spirit Stone was watching Li Hong and, seeing this, paused to look at Chu Qiu, his expression growing more profound.
Chu Qiu walked over to Li Hong's side, a smile plastered on his face, and even reached out to touch Li Hong's forehead. He said, "You really are lucky. Master has been taking care of you tirelessly. Old Six, you should thank Master this time."
Li Hong's mind raced, and the angry words that were on the tip of his tongue were swallowed back down. He closed his eyes and said lightly, "I'm tired; I want to sleep now."
"Alright, Old Six, you rest first. If there's anything you want to eat or need, just tell Second Senior Brother, and he will get it for you," Chu Qiu feigned concern. "Master, you haven't eaten or slept in over ten days; why not take a break? I'll take care of Old Six and Old Seven."
Li Hong felt a tightness in his chest but heard Spirit Stone say calmly, "No need. You can go back."
Chu Qiu cheerfully agreed and said a few more meaningless words about resting before turning to leave.
Hearing the door close, Li Hong couldn't help but open his eyes and let out a quiet sigh of relief—leaving someone to take care of him? It was more like leaving someone to silence him. The thought of Chu Qiu's nonchalant demeanor reignited his anger. How could one person be so thick-skinned, plotting to harm others while acting as if nothing had happened?
Li Hong's mind raced. Should he tell Master the truth? The problem was that he had no solid evidence. The Wingless Ship had been burned to ashes; when Chu Qiu tricked them onto the ship, he remembered there was no one else around... With this in mind, Li Hong already knew how to speak to Spirit Stone:
"Master, it's all my fault. We were just having fun and accidentally wandered into the forbidden area of Fire Cave, which led to this disaster. Please punish me."
Spirit Stone was taken aback, almost unable to believe his ears. He stared intently into Li Hong's eyes as if trying to discern something from his face. Li Hong quickly shut his eyes and pretended to sleep.
After a while, he finally heard Spirit Stone's voice: "You sleep; I will handle this matter."
With the effects of the medicine kicking in, Li Hong's eyelids grew heavy, and he truly fell asleep.
When Chuxiong woke up, the first thing he did was seize the conversation from Li Hong and repeat those few lines about accidentally entering the forbidden area of Fire Cave. Chuxiong was dumbfounded and nearly blurted out the truth without thinking. Under Li Hong's warning gaze, he finally suppressed his anger and waited for Master to leave before letting it all out.
Li Hong laid out the facts clearly in front of him. After listening, Chuxiong remained silent for a long time and could only grudgingly admit that Li Hong was right. In fact, just thinking about how cheap it was for Chu Qiu made Li Hong feel quite uncomfortable.

In the Clearing of the forest, Li Hong sat cross-legged with his eyes closed, his mind immersed in the Upper Dantian Purple Palace.
In the center of the vast dark space, the Multicolored Light Sphere shone brilliantly like a blazing flame. As he "looked" at the Multicolored Light Sphere, a long-lost sense of familiarity surged in Li Hong's heart. He had been recovering from injuries these days and unable to practice; he initially thought that the Multicolored Light Sphere must have consumed a lot of energy. However, upon careful observation today, he found that the Multicolored Light Sphere had not diminished in size. This was somewhat strange.
He remembered using the Beast Taming Technique in the Fire Cave, which had clearly consumed a lot! Li Hong pondered this repeatedly, feeling perplexed. He focused his mind and began to cultivate according to the first verse of the Six Spirit Salty Ritual.
His consciousness was completely immersed in the Essence Blood mass at the center of the Multicolored Light Sphere, and those Multicolored Light Dots began to gather towards him once again. After not practicing here for a long time, this time there were many of them; gradually, they all gathered around Li Hong, enveloping his entire body like a thick, bright cocoon. The surrounding Multicolored Light Dots continued to fly towards him.
Countless light dots surged into Li Hong's body, quickly converging along his meridians into the Upper Dantian Purple Palace. The speed increased, and more and more light dots formed straight lines heading towards and merging with the rapidly spinning Multicolored Light Sphere.
The Upper Dantian Purple Palace was filled with floating five-colored Iridescence lines, and the dazzling central Multicolored Light Sphere grew larger and expanded rapidly. Soon, the entire Upper Dantian Purple Palace was no longer dark but filled with countless floating Multicolored Light Dots, with the massive, rapidly rotating luminous Multicolored Light Sphere at its center.
All of Li Hong's consciousness was immersed in the Essence Blood mass as he quietly observed the vast space of the Upper Dantian Purple Palace, watching those bright, colorful dots rush towards him. His heart felt neither joy nor sorrow. Gradually, he sensed something was wrong. This time, the speed at which he absorbed the Multicolored Light Dots was too fast, and their quantity was overwhelming; they began to overlap rapidly until he realized that his consciousness had been isolated within the essence blood mass.
His vision was filled with brilliant colors, a massive three-dimensional light screen blocking his view. Li Hong felt himself becoming very small, trapped within the spherical space formed by the light screen, completely unaware of what was happening outside! He grew anxious and tried desperately to pull his consciousness out of the Upper Dantian Purple Palace, but soon another change occurred.
In a daze, he became very small and anxiously darted around this Iridescence space trying to escape; however, there was another version of himself looking down from above like a deity, observing that small anxious self in that space. He watched as that little figure in white jumped around frantically searching for an exit. The higher self remained indifferent.
The little figure below tried countless times to escape but eventually froze in place, lowering its head in thought. It seemed to have come up with an idea; its form flickered slightly, and an identical little figure suddenly appeared beside it, followed by another one, then another... Soon, nine little figures appeared in the space; each had different expressions—some anxious, some indifferent, some joyful, some fearful, some angry...
Watching them—or perhaps watching himself—the higher self finally showed a slight reaction as a strange feeling of pity made him involuntarily open his mouth and exclaim softly.
The dazzling flowing light screen began to spin rapidly with a loud bang as it started to compress violently inward. The nine little figures ceased their movements; one approached another, and they immediately overlapped together. Then came another pair... In an instant, they all merged into one. Finally, this figure looked up at the sky and leaped upward.
With a thunderous roar, all Divine Consciousness merged together, and Li Hong felt a tremendous shock to his mind as he was suddenly pulled out from the Upper Dantian Purple Palace. He immediately realized he could perceive his own body. Now, his entire being was filled with Multicolored Light Dots, which permeated every meridian, seeping outward through the meridians into his muscles, bones, and internal organs.
His body gradually brightened, and a strong Iridescence erupted from within Li Hong. An overwhelming sense of power made him involuntarily open his mouth, letting out a long howl of "He—" that echoed through the forest and shook the heavens.
The dragon's roar was clear and distant, carrying an unparalleled strength that resonated endlessly.
The entire Nine Vermilion Peaks trembled with the howl. All the buildings shook momentarily in that instant.
The people of Nine Vermilion Peaks were initially taken aback. Spirit Stones shot out from the Small Pavilion into the sky, heading straight for Li Hong's location. Just a glance in that direction filled them with astonishment. It hovered in mid-air, personally guarding Li Hong, its gaze flickering as if lost in thought.
Within the Li Fire Formation, the Phantom Fire Dragon suddenly revealed itself, restlessly flying around in the vast space of fire. It opened its mouth wide and roared—its dragon's cry shook the heavens and earth. At midnight, the dark sky of Nine Li Cave Heaven suddenly burst forth with red light. The sky was filled with brilliant flowing crimson clouds, while below, the Azure Mountains and Verdant Valleys were enveloped in a thick layer of dazzling red light as if they were on fire.
The entire Nine Li Cave Heaven was in turmoil, with figures soaring through the sky, all heading toward one destination—Nine Vermilion Peaks.
