The Soul Devourer’s Demon Embryo is not entirely self-generated. In fact, it resembles a massive cultivation vessel.
The Soul Devourer has swallowed a large number of corpses. These corpses are wrapped in a layer of sticky mucus inside the Soul Devourer, which gradually thickens into a membrane. The corpses inside undergo changes, collapsing and absorbing, and under the influence of some innate ability of the Soul Devourer, they slowly transform into Demon Embryos. Once the Demon Embryos hatch, they become Demon Infants. The Demon Infants are implanted into the corpses, merging with them to produce Walking Corpses. This type of Walking Corpse is a hybrid of human and plant, which is what the Demon Sect refers to as Demon Servants.
In other words, one Demon Servant requires two dead bodies to be created: one corpse to cultivate the Demon Embryo and another for the Demon Infant to be implanted in. Both are closely related to the Soul Devourer. Over the years, it is feared that millions of mortals have been consumed by the Soul Devourer. While some are indeed genuine corpses, most of their origins are highly suspect.
The actions of the Demon Sect are truly appalling.
Additionally, the Soul Devourer has two structural components; it is a combination of both plant and animal matter.
The things swallowed by the Soul Devourer automatically enter a massive space similar to a stomach. In this stomach-like space, everything is enveloped in mucus secreted by the Soul Devourer; if it is a corpse, it will gradually transform into a Demon Embryo. Once formed, the Demon Embryo automatically enters an incubator-like space. After collectively hatching in this incubator space, they are expelled from the body. This part of its structure is the plant component of the Soul Devourer and represents an instinctive swallowing transformation action; naturally, this structure is also closely related to the abilities of the Soul Devourer itself.
At the same time, it possesses an animal component, meaning it has its own organization similar to a human brain and torso.
Now sensing a significant threat to its life, the Soul Devourer decided to expel everything heavy from its plant body. Before Li Hong and Du Yizi stands a rectangular monster with only a ten-zhang diameter; although still large, it pales in comparison to its previously immense size.
A large black pillar-like object writhes continuously, gradually forming outlines of a head, torso, and limbs. It keeps changing shape and attempts to stand up using its newly formed cylindrical "legs." It seems eager to escape.
Li Hong and Du Yizi exchanged glances, both seeing determination in each other's eyes.
With the Soul Devourer around, countless mortals from the Mortal Realm could perish; this creature is also linked to the source of Demon Servants for the Immortal Sect. Who knows what other purposes it may serve! It must be eliminated!

However, Du Yizi's Aurora Needles had already deeply pierced into it. At this moment, the Soul Devourer was increasingly vulnerable. A large amount of translucent black gelatinous substance flew out as its body shrank once more. With a plop, it fell onto the black ice field, collapsing into a soft heap while violently trembling; deep within came muffled sounds resembling wailing from an accordion.
"Wait." Li Hong raised a hand.
The body of the Soul Devourer shrank again, this time reducing to a mass about six or seven zhang in diameter. A strange object pierced through the black skin of the Soul Devourer, revealing a glimmering corner.
It seemed to be a piece of an unusual stone, shining with a black light, rectangular in shape, with one corner slightly pointed, resembling an Obelisk.
Was there actually a stele hidden inside the Soul Devourer? After expelling so many miscellaneous items, it still concealed such a stele?
Li Hong recalled the unusual objects he had seen earlier and suddenly realized, speaking in a deep voice, "It really is the work of the Demon Sect!"

The Obelisk was smaller at the top and larger at the bottom; its upper part was only about a foot wide while its lower part was two feet wide. The entire Obelisk was about half a foot thick and connected to a Bagua Base below it; both formed a complete whole. The Obelisk and Bagua Base were covered in golden symbols and diagrams that were still operational. Although this sac contained the sticky black liquid secreted by the Soul Devourer's main body, both the Obelisk and its base remained spotless and untainted, with beams of light flashing across them.
Yue Que stopped in front of the Obelisk without damaging any of the internal structures of the Soul Devourer.
As Li Hongyu closely examined this Obelisk and its symbols, he grew increasingly astonished; this object was quite extraordinary. If his guess was correct, it should be a Celestial Artifact!
Powerful Yin Power waves emanated from within it, confirming that this object indeed belonged to a Demon Sect Monster. The symbols on it were unlike anything he had ever seen before; although he did not know their function, Li Hong could clearly sense their eerie nature.
Staring for a long time creates an illusion that the golden symbols on the surface of the Obelisk are rotating. A massive, bottomless black vortex subtly appears behind the monument, making one feel an irresistible urge to dive in, to enter that stone tablet!
Li Hong was taken aback; this was the power that attracts souls! While ordinary Celestial Artifacts are merely powerful in combat, this object acts on the soul, belonging to a category of extremely sophisticated and rare Celestial Artifacts.
Who could it be that would be willing to place such a rare and remarkable Celestial Artifact within the Soul Devourer? What exactly is the function of this Celestial Artifact?
Li Hong did not believe that this item was solely used to control the Soul Devourer. After observing it closely for a moment, he had an idea.
He reached into his Cosmic Bag and took out a Supreme Celestial Stone, holding it in his hand. In front of the trembling Soul Devourer, he brought the Supreme Celestial Stone close to the exposed tip of the Obelisk.

It was indeed feasible. Li Hong discovered that the material used to craft this Obelisk and its base was actually the companion Black Stone of the Supreme Celestial Stone. Only at this moment did Li Hong realize that the companion Black Stone of the Supreme Celestial Stone could indeed be used to forge a Celestial Artifact!
The Obelisk began to change; the golden symbols grew increasingly bright. Suddenly, a brilliant flash of golden light blinded Li Hong momentarily, but his Divine Consciousness "saw" a crack about an inch wide suddenly appear between the Obelisk and the Bagua Base. He grasped the Obelisk firmly and forcefully pulled it out from within the Soul Devourer, then began to inject Awareness into it, disregarding everything else as he sought to cultivate this Celestial Artifact.
Ah, Celestial Artifact! Since it was unclaimed and crafted from the companion Black Stone of the Supreme Celestial Stone, capable of absorbing Five Elements Spiritual Energy, Li Hong decided not to care even if it belonged to the Demon Sect!
Awareness continuously flowed into the Obelisk. Li Hong trembled all over, feeling as if the Obelisk in his hands was an endless abyss; an immense pulling force emanated from within, as if he were about to be sucked in. Alarmed, Li Hong quickly slowed down. The Obelisk shook violently in his grip when suddenly another powerful force surged from below, distinctly different from the previous pulling force from within; this force seemed intent on yanking the Obelisk away from Li Hong's hands.
A force was tugging at him from below.
Li Hong was shocked; it wasn't unclaimed at all—he clearly sensed that its owner was rapidly approaching and was tugging against him through that Bagua Base!
Strange images flashed through his mind—a figure wrapped in black mist suddenly appeared. Its features were indistinct, but Li Hong felt an overwhelming sense of shock and anger emanating from it as it shouted: "Who is taking my Six Shadows!"
The Celestial Artifact is actually called "Six Shadows"!
The Soul Devourer trembled violently, spewing out a lot of its internal tissues, rapidly shrinking and retreating, wriggling away from Li Hong's grasp, trying to escape. At this moment, the Obelisk and the Bagua Base below had completely separated from it.

Once the Obelisk was isolated, the pressure immediately vanished, but an overwhelming force surged rapidly from afar, sending chills down his spine. A flash of Black Light appeared, and the Bagua Base below suddenly transformed into Little Fei, vanishing in an instant above the abyss.

He pulled Du Yizi up onto Yue Que and was about to call out to Little Fei when he noticed that Little Fei seemed to have something extra on his back.
There was no time to examine it closely; he grabbed Little Fei and tucked him into his arms as Li Hong urged Yue Que to soar into the sky. They swiftly flew through the mist toward the abyss above.
