The Spirit of the Hall dared not refuse and soon transported Li Hong into the Wandering Path of the Stars, personally leading the way. Li Hong remained silent and commanded Lingyi to pursue relentlessly. Old Demon kept dodging; despite his incredible speed, Li Hong felt something was off.
As he directed Lingyi faster and faster until it became almost an Iridescence phantom, Old Demon’s speed was surprisingly swift as well. They darted back and forth within that narrow distance of Passageway without retreating or approaching Li Hong—clearly wary of the mechanisms set within. His figure became like a streaking Black Light zigzagging around while being pursued by Lingyi's dazzling Iridescence. If it weren't for Li Hong's cultivation level surpassing what could be seen by ordinary eyes, he would surely be dizzy from Old Demon's rapid movements.
Suddenly, Li Hong realized what was wrong; the real Old Demon would never just dodge without attacking!
