The land was flat, as if it had been smoothed down by a giant's hand. The endless Pyramid Forest stretched to the horizon, where everything was a dull grayish-yellow. The sky was a gloomy deep gray, resembling a pot of boiling lead, with strange, massive whirlpools swirling in the misty clouds from time to time. A desolate wind swept across from the horizon, carrying with it a chorus of howls. Against the gray-yellow backdrop, elongated black shadows appeared. 0

This place resembled the legendary foreign hell. 0

As Li Hong approached, he noticed that the pyramids were not entirely intact; many showed clear signs of damage, with corners crumbled and large sections of their bases collapsed. It was evident that the only living creature in this area was the Feathered Serpent. These bizarre beings, resembling a mix between snakes, dragons, and birds, were everywhere; their presence could be seen in every corner and on every stone. 0

Aside from the Feathered Serpent, there seemed to be no other life forms in this space. 0

Li Hong found it strange. If the large Feathered Serpent had already reached the level of a High-Level Spirit Beast, akin to a monster that could survive by swallowing wind and mist, then what about the smaller Feathered Serpent? They appeared to possess no spiritual power at all; how did they survive? 0

As his gaze passed over one grand pyramid after another, suddenly, Li Hong's eyes flickered. 0

Moments later, Li Hong had retrieved his Eight Formation Flag, swiftly applied an Invisibility Talisman to himself, and descended towards the ground. 0

His target was a large pyramid. This pyramid was distinctly different from the others; it appeared particularly intact and new, giving off an impression of having just been completed. There was no large Feathered Serpent atop this pyramid, only a few small ones wandering far from the base. 0

Li Hong landed on the ground. 0

From the ground level, this pyramid looked even more magnificent. Its towering structure reached a hundred feet high and was flawless, with sides forming perfect equilateral triangles. All the stones were cut to uniform size and stacked to equal height; each step had the same height, making it impossible to find a crooked line anywhere on the pyramid. At the very top sat a square temple that looked like a little stone box from below. 0

Li Hong found it curious; did this faction's Ancient God have a preference for such tower-like structures? Was that why so many were built here? And why were they constructed with such meticulous precision and uniformity? 0

What a peculiar group of deities... 0

A few small Feathered Serpent seemed to sense something and quickly slithered towards where Li Hong had landed, raising their heads with long tongues flicking out as they hissed ominously—clearly aware of Li Hong's presence. 0

With a cold snort, Li Hong lifted his foot and stomped down heavily. These oblivious creatures, thick as an arm and over six feet long, were effortlessly crushed into pulp beneath his foot. 0

A faint Blood Stench filled the air as nearby groups of Feathered Serpent suddenly raised their front halves and hissed as they swiftly approached. Some even spread their wings and flew towards him like lightning. 0

Li Hong, uninterested in them, flew straight up the steps at the front of the pyramid, carefully ascending one step at a time. 0

The temple had no doors; it was open, with massive columns in front, revealing everything inside. 0

It was empty, devoid of anything. But wait... 0

Li Hong leaped into the temple. 0

On three walls were many strange patterns that resembled characters, but unfortunately, Li Hong was certain he couldn't read a single one. After thinking for a moment, he took out a pen to sketch them down. When his gaze fell on the last wall, Li Hong was stunned. These were not characters but actual images. 0

Countless stars, both large and small, formed various patterns—some resembling animals, others depicting people in motion. There were many patterns; the lines were simple yet contained an ancient depth and profound mystery. Li Hong could not tear his eyes away after just one glance; his mind suddenly sank into it. 0

Stars flew past him, soaring into the distance, disappearing into the brilliant depths of the galaxy. Giant stars fell, and black holes that devoured everything opened their mouths to the universe. Suddenly, a flash appeared as a new star slowly rose... 0

Time flew by; billions of years passed in an instant. Life and death faded away; beginnings and endings were all part of natural law. Li Hong felt neither sorrow nor joy as he observed the cycle of life and death in the universe, his heart filled only with tranquility. 0

Suddenly, his gaze instinctively focused on a certain spot. There was an incredibly beautiful blue star there, containing boundless spiritual energy—familiar and comforting. Everything was quiet. But in the next moment, a strong blue light flashed across the surface of the blue star, like the first burst of explosive light piercing through the universe. The intensity of the light made Li Hong instinctively cover his eyes tightly, even though he knew he was merely witnessing this scene deep within his divine consciousness. 0

Before him was complete darkness—so dark that Li Hong shook his head vigorously. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself still in the temple, facing that peculiar star river diagram wall. 0

However, Li Hong quickly noticed that in the most inconspicuous corner of this wall was indeed marked a blue star he had just seen; even the shape of the continents on its surface was identical. A long line extended from the surface of the star deep into the vastness of space. 0

This image was exactly like the illusion he had just seen deep within his divine consciousness! 0

Li Hong was dumbfounded. What kind of divine technique was this? It could actually enter his divine consciousness through an image! Incredible—truly incredible! 0

Then Li Hong was taken aback again. In that brief moment, his cultivation had made a tremendous leap; his Heavenly Soul Avatar in the Ancient Celestial Field Temple, tens of thousands of miles away, had reached great perfection! 0

Li Hong was overjoyed and realized something: no matter how far apart they were or even if they existed in another space, his main body still had a strong sense of connection to his avatar. 0

At that moment, Li Hong sensed something again; his body swayed slightly as his six senses immediately shifted to follow Ling Yi Zi's Earth Soul Avatar. 0

Earth Soul Avatar was in a long dark Passageway. Ahead, a faint shadow resembling light smoke had already slipped out of the Passageway entrance. What is this place? Li Hong had no time to be surprised and quickly used his movement technique to chase after Ling Yi Zi. 0

In just a moment, Li Hong felt a strong sensation; there was something ahead that he was very familiar with! No wonder his mind and spirit were stirred. 0

In a flash, Li Hong followed Ling Yi Zi to the entrance of the Passageway, stopping to look outside. Upon seeing this, Li Hong was left speechless. 0

Before him was what appeared to be the interior of a temple, with thick stone walls on all sides. In the center was a deep well, from which thick Ethereal Energy emanated. A pattern resembling radiant golden sunlight was engraved around the well's opening, and this area was perfectly circular, with a depression of about ten feet around the well. Outside this circular area were tall stone platforms. Each platform was spaced three feet apart, starting at ten feet above the ground and increasing by one foot, with the last one nearly reaching the ceiling, just one foot short. The group of platforms formed a perfect circle around the surface of the round well. 0

What was most astonishing was that each platform clearly had something on it; although it was hard to see from afar, Li Hong could sense immense power! 0

All were magical artifacts, at least at the level of Celestial Artifact! Ling Yi Zi had actually made a discovery! 0

At first, Li Hong was overjoyed but then felt quite surprised because Ling Yi Zi showed no signs of notifying him. He saw him fly around the platforms and without hesitation ascend towards the fourth platform from the bottom. As he reached for it, a burst of light erupted, and suddenly, Ling Yi Zi was flung away by an invisible barrier. 0

He crashed heavily against the stone wall with a dull thud, breaking at least seventeen or eighteen bones, blood streaming from his mouth. Yet, Ling Yi Zi seemed oblivious to his injuries and took a moment to adjust before soaring up again, this time aiming for the fifth platform from the bottom. “Ask the Way” was invoked and struck heavily at the top of the platform. 0

With a whoosh... a strong reflection occurred, and Ling Yi Zi was once again sent flying back, crashing hard against the stone wall. 0

This time he struggled for quite some time before getting back up. 0

Fixated on the platforms, Ling Yi Zi wore an expression that was strange—seeming both resentful and affectionate, worried yet eager; his complex emotions were clearly written on his face. 0

As Li Hong observed this scene, he suddenly realized something very strange: Ling Yi Zi had been here before! He seemed very familiar with this place! 0

Recalling many small clues that connected together—just considering that Ling Yi Zi suggested going down beneath the gray mist, where indeed the temple lay—made it impossible for Li Hong not to harbor such suspicions. 0

But this absolutely could not be true. 0

All of Ling Yi Zi's actions over the years were clear as day; Li Hong would bet anything that he had never been to Western Bull Hezhou, let alone this place! 0

Upon realizing this, Li Hong felt a bit ashamed for doubting Ling Yi Zi for no reason. He was called Master Uncle, but in reality, he was his best friend and comrade! 0

Seeing that Ling Yi Zi had already been injured, Li Hong no longer hesitated. His true form quickly approached, and as Ling Yi Zi desperately crashed into the fifth high platform, Li Hong's true form had already entered the Passageway. 0

Before getting close, Li Hong released his aura while swiftly retracting his clone. Sure enough, Ling Yi Zi soon appeared at the entrance of the Passageway, looking at him with surprise and suspicion. 0

Without waiting for him to speak, Li Hong hurriedly said, "Master Uncle, how did you get hurt? I sensed something was wrong with you, so I rushed over. Are you alright?" 0

Ling Yi Zi looked at the genuinely anxious Li Hong, and his tense face gradually relaxed as he nodded and said, "I was just about to call you. It's great that you came; look here, there are some good things." 0

"And what about you? Are you okay?" Li Hong stepped forward, reaching out his hand to support Ling Yi Zi. 0

Ling Yi Zi subtly stepped back without looking at Li Hong's outstretched hand and said, "You should go take a look." 0

Li Hong did not recklessly enter but cautiously extended his Divine Consciousness. He immediately discovered that there were Restrictions surrounding the central wellhead in a circular area, seemingly meant to protect the Heaven and Earth Yin Spirit Eye below the wellhead. Each high platform nearby had treasures on it; however, aside from three platforms—the first, second, and third—were empty. Although there were Restrictions in place, there was nothing inside. 0

At the same time, that familiar feeling grew stronger and stronger. Li Hong involuntarily soared into the air and looked toward the fourth high platform. 0

Before he could clearly see what it was, a sudden intense flash of light appeared before him, and an overwhelming force surged toward him. Li Hong was alarmed; just then, another strong golden light flashed by, and despite being at the Yu Ying Period cultivation level, he was sent flying like a kite with its string cut. 0
