Nine Li Cave Heaven has undergone a tremendous transformation.
When Yin Li'er left, she took all the precious scrolls from the Scripture Repository, leaving behind only the notes and insights of past Ancestors, which she burned to ashes in a great fire. The fire raged for three days and nights, and when it finally extinguished, all that remained on Elder Peak was a bare Artifact Hall and a shrine standing starkly amidst the ashes; all other buildings had vanished.
The Heaven and Earth Platform was completely destroyed, while the Nine Li Peak Main Hall and Chengxian Pavilion across the way remained intact. However, the The Abode of the Sect Leader on the Twenty-Eighth Floor is still inaccessible to this day, with the Dragon and Phoenix Forbidden Stone Beast remaining unsolvable by anyone.
These are minor issues compared to the most critical one: the entire Nine Li Cave Heaven is now lifeless and desolate.
There are no disciples flying about on their swords; many disciples were killed, their blood drained by Demons, their corpses carelessly discarded under the open sky, a truly tragic sight. Countless rare birds and beasts have also perished, their inner elixirs taken, valuable pelts turned into artifacts. The once vibrant Gorge is now eerily quiet. As for the Qiong Hua Yao Cao within Nine Li Cave Heaven, since the medicinal herbs required by the Demon Sect Monster are entirely different from those of the Immortal Sect, these herbs hold no value for them and were thus left behind. However, due to lack of care, they have all withered away. The Fire Jade Cave has been ravaged beyond recognition, with hardly a piece of fire jade larger than a fingertip left, let alone any Fire Jade Essence.
In fact, not just the Fire Jade Cave, but all of the Six Veins, and the entire Nine Li Cave Heaven, anything with even a hint of utility has been plundered by the Demon Sect. Countless buildings have been dismantled haphazardly, teetering precariously. The surviving puppet captives, including Ling Jizi, Ling Xiaozi, and Yue Mangzi, among seven or eight others, are shackled in the ruins of the Original Qiankun Platform with thick Dark Iron Chains, constantly guarded by over twenty Demon Sect Monsters. They endure harsh conditions, exposed to wind and rain, barely clothed, suffering immensely.
Now, Nine Li Cave Heaven has become a new Hidden Palace for the Demon Sect, with Elder Yao as its master. He has received personal teachings from Yandao Demon Lord regarding the 《Six Paths Reincarnation Technique》, his strength soaring to nearly match that of masters like Xiao Rushi from the Four Great Hidden Halls.
Suddenly, a golden light streaked across the sky of Nine Li Cave Heaven, heading straight for the Nine Li Peak Main Hall.
In the Original Dan Hall, a large dark brick structure has been erected. No fewer than three to five hundred black-clad figures in hoods patrol in small teams outside, maintaining an extremely strict vigilance.
The entire building resembles a square stone box divided into countless small rooms. Each room's floor is made from various materials collected from different parts of Nine Li Cave Heaven: Jadeite, Black Jade, and white jade. In each room's center lies a rectangular pool nine feet long. The water in these pools ripples with blood, exuding a strong smell of blood mixed with potent medicinal scents; they are unmistakably true Blood Pools. Occasionally, something writhes within the blood water. Suddenly, a pale white arm emerges from it.
This building is filled with numerous small rooms, each containing a Blood Pool. If Li Hong were here, he would certainly recognize this as identical to the Blood Pool Walking Corpse found in the underground of the Fengdu Hidden Palace.
Inside one of these rooms stands Elder Yao and Guo Wanli, flanked by three hooded subordinates.
He holds a long scoop pole carefully lifting a Walking Corpse from the pool for inspection. This particular Walking Corpse has been refined almost completely; its essence has fully merged with that of a Demon Embryo. It only needs some time before it can be retrieved from the pool, at which point another Demon Servant will be added to their ranks.
Satisfied with his examination of the Walking Corpse, Guo Wanli lets it go and tosses the scoop pole backward; one of his black-clad subordinates immediately catches it. Standing like an iron tower with the pole in hand, he remains silent and motionless.
Upon closer inspection, the three subordinates of Guo Wanli were very different from the Demon Sect Monsters patrolling outside the house. They were exceptionally tall; if Chuxiong were here, he would be surprised to find that they were even taller than him, nearly touching the ceiling of the small house. Not only were they tall, but they also had particularly robust physiques, their broad frames being more than three times that of an average person. Standing there, they resembled black human-shaped iron towers.
However, their faces were not discernible. All three wore the same loose black clothing, draped in hooded cloaks that concealed their entire faces, with the black hoods covering down to their chins. Guo Wanli turned around and looked at the three men behind him. The more he looked, the happier he became, and a trace of a smile unexpectedly appeared on his sinister old face.

At that moment, a beam of golden light swept over Guo Wanli's head and headed straight for Nine Li Peak Great Hall.
Guo Wanli immediately soared into the sky, and the three black-clad men also moved their bodies and followed him into the air. They all seemed to possess Nascent Soul Stage cultivation, able to fly without using any objects to assist them.
The four of them flew in formation, quickly arriving at Nine Li Peak Main Hall.
Upon pushing open the door, Guo Wanli saw a golden scroll floating three feet above the ground in the hall, gently rotating in midair.
Guo Wanli pointed his finger; he was using the authentic techniques from the Li Fire Scripture. A flame shot out from his fingertip and struck the scroll directly.
The scroll immediately unfurled.
At the same time, a sudden flash of red light appeared on Guo Wanli's face, followed by a surge of dark energy. His face alternated between red and black in a bizarre manner.
This was a sign of conflict between the Six Paths Reincarnation Technique and the Li Fire Scripture.
Guo Wanli forcibly suppressed the dizziness and discomfort swirling in his mind as he flew closer to the scroll to take a look.
Suddenly, his expression turned extremely strange. After a long moment, he pointed again, and the scroll abruptly closed on its own before shooting out of the hall and disappearing into the sky above.

Guo Wanli's expression changed repeatedly as he began to pace silently in the great hall.
This hall was the only place where the Black Jade had not been stripped away. The floor, covered in Black Jade, remained polished and spotless. Guo Wanli, dressed in a dark brocade robe, walked back and forth, the only sound being the faint rustle of his robe.
After an unknown amount of time, he finally made a decision.
Soon, Ling Jizi, Ling Xiaozi, and Yue Mangzi were brought into the hall.
The three had been tortured to the point of being unrecognizable. Their Nascent Souls were imprisoned, rendering them unable to use any of their cultivation. Moreover, Guo Wanli had used them as test subjects for some strange potions he had concocted. These potions had various strange side effects, but they all shared one commonality: they caused immense suffering.
Yue Mangzi, once a robust and rosy-faced man, had become emaciated over the years. His once large belly now hung like empty skin over his small abdomen, his rosy complexion faded to reveal age spots, making him nearly unrecognizable as the Chief Elder of Punishment from the renowned Nine Li Sect.
Ling Jizi fared slightly better; after all, Guo Wanli sometimes needed to use him to maintain appearances, pretending that Nine Li Cave Heaven was still under the control of the Immortal Sect.
Ling Xiaozi, however, was in worse shape than Yue Mangzi. He had been forced to ingest some unknown substance that had caused his legs to rot, emitting a foul stench. His tattered pants were crawling with maggots, and his former charming demeanor was completely gone. The current Ling Xiaozi was worse off than a beggar on the street.
Guo Wanli coldly observed the three of them.
Seeing their faces contorted with fear upon seeing him, Guo Wanli felt satisfied and said, "Do you want to live or die?"
"We want to live!"
"Please spare us."
"Please..."
The three pleaded desperately.
Guo Wanli smiled and said, "Living is not difficult. As you just saw, that old man Xuan Xuzi sent a Celestial Sect Order. Within three days, I will heal your injuries and send you to Kunlun. However, you must do as I say... What do you think?"
The three of them exchanged glances filled with hesitation, fear, and concern. The more they were tormented, the stronger their will to survive became; they were unwilling to die without understanding why they had reached this point in their cultivation.
However, what Guo Wanli offered them was an almost impossible task.
"What? You don't want to do it? Fine, I'll send you to the Heavenly Pill Hall for the latest experiments..."
"No! Please, don't do that! We'll do it, we are willing to do it!"
Ling Jizi and the others immediately pleaded for mercy. When the Heavenly Pill Hall was newly established, Guo Wanli had specially taken the remaining nine of Ling Jizi there for a "tour." During that visit, an elder at the late Golden Core stage was driven insane and returned to strangle himself with a Dark Iron Chain. The events of that day were a hellish scene that no one who survived wanted to remember.
"Alright, I'll have someone take you to heal," Guo Wanli instructed, sending them down.
The three were placed in a medicinal pool, and their numerous wounds healed at a visible speed. They were fished out cleanly and given fresh clothes. Soon after, a strange green pill the size of a pigeon egg was placed in front of each of them.

The three of them exchanged glances. Having already consumed various poisons before, they were not concerned about this Gu Worm Pill. They swallowed it whole, thinking that as long as this devil let them leave and they made it to Kunlun, with the abilities of Xuan Xuzi and Kunlun, they would surely be saved. As for that task—forget it!
They did not notice that at this moment, the effects of the pill began to spread. Strange green gas wrapped around every organ and vein in their bodies like living creatures or fine green threads, constantly moving throughout every part of them.
A day later, Ling Jizi and the others set off anxiously, feeling both joy and worry.

As soon as he finished speaking, the strange green threads within Yue Mangzi suddenly began to grow rapidly, becoming thicker and larger. Visible green worms started wriggling inside him, beginning to gnaw at his fresh blood and flesh.
Yue Mangzi screamed and fell backward, convulsing uncontrollably.

Ling Jizi and Ling Xiaozi were horrified, collapsing to the ground in fear.

The cold, eerie voice faded from their minds. The green creature inside began to shrink gradually and lay dormant. Finally, the pain subsided, and Yue Mangzi calmed down.
The three exchanged glances, feeling helpless as they continued their journey towards Kunlun.
Before long, dozens of figures riding Flying Swords rushed over, shouting, "Is this the leader of Nine Li Sect, Ling Jizi?"
"Indeed it is," Ling Jizi sighed silently. On his face was a smile that looked worse than crying.
