The style of this "carriage" is quite strange; aside from having two wheels, the rest of it does not resemble a traditional "carriage" at all.
First of all, there is no yoke, meaning there is no part for pulling the carriage. Of course, if one wanted to be impressive, they could have Heavenly Torch pull it, but Li Hong does not do such things. Moreover, this vehicle actually has its own source of energy.
The Yin Yang Platform... the cabin is precisely mounted on the axle... with two Six Paths of Reincarnation serving as the wheels on either side. The Bagua Crown is tightly affixed to the outer wall of the Yin Yang Platform, positioned right at the top, where the recessed area perfectly accommodates the Divine Slaying Monument.
The Divine Slaying Monument is the most useful; it can absorb all stray energy encountered during its movement and transfer it to the Bagua Crown for storage. It can also detach at its master's command and unleash its formidable attack power, making it essentially a heavy artillery piece on the vehicle.
The Star-Moon Radiance, which is currently unknown in location, is also mounted next to the Bagua Crown, powered by it. According to descriptions from the Artifact Spirit, the Star-Moon Radiance resembles two large wings that can both defend and fly—true large wings.
Now that the Star-Moon Radiance is unavailable, Li Hong has to think of alternatives and first considers those two pieces of Purple Veil. These two pieces obtained from the Celestial Palace of Leisure are indeed valuable; they can block others' exploration through Divine Consciousness, which is akin to invisibility, while also providing strong defensive capabilities. Li Hong has tested it and found that even with Yue Que, he could not cut even a small slit in these two pieces of Purple Veil, demonstrating their toughness and hardness. Therefore, using these two pieces of Purple Veil as a temporary substitute for the Star-Moon Radiance is absolutely feasible.
Upon closer inspection, there are two extremely fine slots on either side beneath the base of the Bagua Crown, originally meant for inserting the Star-Moon Radiance. However, Li Hong inserted these two pieces of Purple Veil. Since he had already communicated with the Artifact Spirit, it quickly accepted the presence of these two pieces.
Now this vehicle has been fully assembled and hovers quietly in front of Li Hong. It appears unremarkable, only palm-sized and oddly shaped. Yet, Li Hong has immense confidence in it; even without the Star-Moon Radiance, its grade is still at least that of a quasi-artifact!
Let's call you “Six Paths Flying Car!” In this world of Six Shadows, there should be no place you cannot reach!
Li Hong stood up and cupped his hands toward everyone, saying: “I will now descend into the Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea. Please wait here for my good news! Brother Heavenly Torch, let’s go!”
As soon as he finished speaking, Ling Yanzi flew over and said solemnly: “I’m going too!”
“Me too!” echoed Aurora.
Both had determined expressions; while it was understandable for Ling Yanzi, it was surprising that this timid Candle Dragon, Aurora, had completed her transformation so quickly. This truly made Li Hong feel somewhat emotional. Perhaps he was still grieving for Tianqi Zi. At this point, however, Li Hong did not intend to dampen their enthusiasm and nodded: “Alright, let’s go!”
Li Hong released the more than fifty individuals below the Golden Core Stage who had been sent to the Yin Yang Platform, as this place was relatively safe for the time being. He then sent the three members of Heavenly Torch into the Yin Yang Platform, and after bowing to everyone, Li Hong transformed into a beam of light and vanished into the Six Paths Flying Car.
The onlookers watched as the small flying car, resembling a child's toy, lit up from within. A burst of Iridescence shot out, and then the two Purple Veils transformed into wings that enveloped the entire vehicle. With a flash of purple light, the two Purple Veils flapped like wings, circling around the Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea before quickly heading eastward. The Little Fei car flew down into the Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea, becoming a tiny point of light before completely disappearing.
Fuxi and the others clearly saw this scene and were both surprised and delighted to find that the Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea did not attack the flying car. Shennong exclaimed, "It worked! Let's wait for their good news!" At this point, he finally felt relieved, swallowed some Aili Grass, and began to heal his injuries. Besides Xuan Yuan providing him protection, Fuxi and the others hovered in mid-air, monitoring the movements of the Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea.
Li Hong focused his thoughts and instantly arrived at the Anti-Space of the Yin Yang Platform. Inside the White Jade Hall, he saw that the three members of Heavenly Torch were gathered around a central area, praising something enthusiastically.
Li Hongfei approached to take a look and was astonished to find that at some point, the Jade High Couch in the center had automatically moved to a corner of the hall, making way for a strange White Jade Platform that had emerged.
This White Jade Platform was higher at the edges and lower in the center, forming a circle that was slightly square but also resembled lotus petals. It had four exits that divided it into four distinct areas. Each area had strange symbols carved into its lower half. The upper halves of each area were smooth as mirrors and seemed to function like mirrors; when Li Hong curiously touched one with his hand, it suddenly began to glow, gradually revealing many blurry images.
Heavenly Torch called out, "It's lit up here!"
Aurora also shouted, "They're all lit up!"
It turned out that the upper halves of all four areas of the White Jade Platform had illuminated sections that were devoid of any objects, generating hazy images. Initially, these images shook violently and were unclear but gradually began to stabilize. Many purple flashes resembling lightning and bright morning glow danced and shifted.
"Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea!" Li Hong recognized it immediately.
Suddenly, Li Hong realized that this Jade Palace was actually the control center for the Restrictions of the Six Paths Flying Car. Just like the Restrictions center in Temple City! While there used copper mirrors to reflect external scenes, here it utilized this White Jade Platform. Unfortunately, Li Hong looked down at those complex symbols whose meanings he did not understand. It seemed this flying car could also be manually operated; for now, they would have to rely on Artifact Spirit.
Upon inquiring with Artifact Spirit, it confirmed his suspicions.
Li Hong also discovered that his confidence was justified. The Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea operated automatically, capable of sensing any invading objects and launching attacks, but it clearly did not detect the Six Paths Flying Car. The Six Paths Flying Car flew smoothly and rapidly through the Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea, obeying Li Hong's commands as it descended continuously. Indeed, the two Purple Veils played a significant role.
After the initial excitement wore off, Li Hong sat cross-legged in the center of the control platform and began to explore.
There was a naturally formed recessed seat here, just big enough for one person, with two palm-shaped depressions in front of it. According to the Artifact Spirit, if the owner was absent and someone else was driving the car, that person could place their hands in these two palm-shaped depressions to temporarily communicate with the Artifact Spirit. Since Li Hong was driving himself, he skipped this step. Sitting in this seat, Li Hong extended his Divine Consciousness through the Six Paths Flying Car to scan the surrounding environment, while the three from Heavenly Torch observed the situation around the Six Paths Flying Car through four moving images.
Li Hong found that the Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea was vast and boundless; according to his Divine Consciousness scan, it had already reached a radius of five thousand miles. This was the limit of Li Hong's Divine Consciousness scan, yet he still could not see an end. At this point, Li Hong had an idea: what appeared to be four entrances to the Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea actually led down to a single Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea, all entering one location.
Now, according to the calculations of the Six Paths Flying Car, they had flown downward for eight thousand miles without reaching an end; it seemed this place was indeed enormous. However, there was also a possibility that there were still Spatial Spells at play here. It should be noted that in this False Immortal Realm, Spatial Spells were quite common; traces of Spatial Spells could be found everywhere. The entire False Immortal Realm was essentially a vast space formed by Spatial Formations.
At this moment, this Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea must be a connection point leading to the true formation eye.
With this thought in mind, Li Hong felt more at ease. Even if this Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea used Spatial Formations to expand exponentially, there would still be a boundary. The speed of the Six Paths Flying Car was incredibly fast, almost instantaneous over vast distances; Li Hong believed it wouldn't take long before they reached the edge of the Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea.
Sure enough, half a month later, Li Hong sensed unusual signs. When his Divine Consciousness extended outwards, he could hardly believe his eyes.
Although they had not reached the end of the Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea, not far away stood a magnificent and awe-inspiring Brilliant Celestial Palace quietly rising amidst the boundless Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea.
As they approached closer, Li Hong felt that this truly was a celestial palace; its solemn and majestic aura was incomparable to what he had seen before in places like the Celestial Palace of Leisure. The celestial palace before him exuded immense grandeur; standing amidst the endless Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea, just one glance made him feel an overwhelming pressure and deep respect.
This feeling was entirely caused by Restrictions.
The celestial palace standing in the Purple Wasteland Thunder Sea was enveloped by countless transparent bubble-like Restrictions, layered upon each other with nearly thousands of layers. Such an abundance of Restrictions preserved this celestial palace as if it were brand new from when it was first built; however, upon closer inspection, one could sense how terrifying these Restrictions truly were.
Li Hong commanded the Six Paths Flying Car to circle around the outer walls of the Celestial Palace. Divine Consciousness could not penetrate inside; he could only observe with his naked eyes. Beside him, Lingyanzi and Aurora were left dumbfounded.
Ling Yanzi said in a deep voice, "This should be the place, but it looks like there isn't a soul around. What's going on?"
Ling Yanzi was right; they had returned to the main gate of the Celestial Palace, yet Li Hong still found no signs of life.
All the halls were visible through the transparent bubble-like Restrictions, and they were empty, with not a single person in sight. Some flowerbeds had even wilted, with sparse and yellowing plants that clearly hadn't been tended to in a long time. However, Li Hong noticed that these plants were all rare treasures.
The celestial herbs in the Yin Yang Platform were indeed good, but Li Hong knew very well that their greatest advantage was their age and abundant Spiritual Energy. In terms of special medicinal properties or unique functions, there weren't many in the Yin Yang Platform. The most precious ones were those various Crimson Fruits growing on the hilltop. Yet here, Li Hong caught sight of several truly legendary celestial fruits and rare medicines that could only be found in tales; their value was beyond words.
While he drooled over the celestial medicines, Li Hong could only think of one question: Is this really where the formation eye is located?
To find out, there was only one way—he had to go inside.
But how to get in?
The main gate of the Celestial Palace stood before him, its two massive doors tightly shut, emanating a powerful aura of Restrictions.
