Hearing Hua Lingwei's question, Zhou Kexin's resentment instantly vanished without a trace. She squatted down again, lowering her head; one could guess how red her little face was without seeing her expression. Zhou Kexin shyly said, "I don't know either."

Zhou Kexin shook her head and said, "No!"
"Then did you put your tongue in his mouth?" Hua Lingwei asked again.
"Also no. Does kissing mean you have to put your tongue in the other person's mouth? What if they bite my tongue?" Zhou Kexin asked a rather silly question. Having grown up in a wealthy family surrounded by riches and friends from affluent backgrounds, she lacked the social experience of ordinary people.
"Ah— Zhou Kexin, I just realized how naive you are; you don't even know what kissing is," Hua Lingwei laughed.
"Have you ever kissed anyone? Hmph, how can you say anything about me?" Zhou Kexin pouted her lips and said unhappily.
Hua Lingwei held Zhou Kexin's hand and chuckled, "Alright, Zhou Kexin, don't be mad. What I meant is that in those TV shows, the male and female leads always kiss with their tongues in each other's mouths. That's why I asked; don't be upset."
"Vivi, do you think I'm unlikable? Look at me; I was so proactive in kissing him, yet he didn't react at all," Zhou Kexin said sadly.
"If you are not a likable person, would you have so many admirers? Chen Haoxuan doesn't react to you; that means he hasn't fallen for you, so you should understand that. As for me, I don't look much worse than you, yet not a single guy dares to pursue me. Sigh—none of the boys these days are real men," Hua Lingwei said dejectedly.
Zhou Kexin covered her mouth and chuckled, "Who told you to enjoy teasing people? Remember that guy Li Ming who pursued you? He was driven nearly to the brink of a mental breakdown in just a couple of days, and it was only after your dad personally apologized that the matter was settled. The others were similarly scared off; I think if I were a guy—I wouldn't dare pursue you either. After all, life is more important than anything else."
"Woo... am I really that bad?" Hua Lingwei said pitifully.
After spending some time outside, Zhou Kexin felt much better and took Hua Lingwei's hand as they re-entered the villa. As soon as she stepped inside, she began searching for Chen Haoxuan. Although she still harbored resentment towards him, she had to admit that she cared about him deeply; perhaps the depth of her hatred mirrored the depth of her love.
Not finding Chen Haoxuan, Zhou Kexin called over a waiter and asked, "Have you seen the person I brought earlier?"
"Oh, you mean your boyfriend! He's right over there!" the waiter pointed to a corner.
Zhou Kexin found it strange; she hadn't seen Chen Haoxuan in that corner at all! All she saw were a group of girls chatting and laughing. Could it be—was Chen Haoxuan hiding among those girls?
Pulling Hua Lingwei along, Zhou Kexin approached the corner indicated by the waiter. As they got closer, they heard a sweet voice say, "Honey, eat this grape; it's very sweet. Let me feed you."
"Honey, I'll give you a massage!" another girl's voice chimed in.
Squeezing into the crowd, Zhou Kexin saw that the person surrounded by these girls was indeed Chen Haoxuan, who was being treated like royalty by them. This reignited her anger as she shouted, "Chen Haoxuan, what are you doing?"
Hearing her voice, Chen Haoxuan looked up and saw Zhou Kexin. "I’m not doing anything! I'm just chatting with these lovely and beautiful girls," he replied with a smile.
"Chen Haoxuan, I hate you!" Zhou Kexin exclaimed before turning on her heel to leave. She was genuinely angry; her heart felt sour—yes, she was jealous. How could she feel good knowing that Chen Haoxuan treated those girls so well while he acted like a stranger towards her?
"Zhou Kexin, come here and greet your uncles," Zhou Xiang waved to his daughter.
Zhou Kexin walked over obediently and greeted her father's good friends one by one: "Hello, Uncle Li, hello, Uncle Zhou, hello, Uncle Huang, hello, Uncle Hua..."
"Zhou Kexin! Didn't you bring your boyfriend? Where is he? Why didn't you bring him over for us to see?" Li Jun said with a kind smile. He developed an industrial zone and rented it out to other manufacturers. With so many industrial zones, the rental income was more profitable than running a company.
"He’s not my boyfriend; I was just fooling those people earlier," Zhou Kexin said angrily. Just mentioning Chen Haoxuan made her upset.
"Then you really lost out, giving away your kiss like that, ha ha..." Li Jun laughed.
Hua Tianyu, hearing Zhou Kexin's words, was very pleased. He excitedly said, "Zhou Kexin, do you not like him?"
"He's not my boyfriend; why should I like him? Besides, even if someone like him were given to me—I wouldn't want him, hum." Zhou Kexin replied angrily.
"That's great! I thought you liked him! If you don't like him, then it's easier," Hua Tianyu said happily.
"What do you mean it's easier if I don't like him?" Zhou Kexin asked in confusion.
"If you don't like him, then I can let my daughter Vivi pursue him!" Hua Tianyu surprised everyone by suggesting that his own daughter go after Chen Haoxuan.
