He Haoming was thrilled when Zhou Kexin agreed to dance with him, almost wanting to kiss her. Fortunately, he held back; otherwise, all his efforts would have been in vain.
What Zhou Kexin never expected was that as soon as she and He Haoming started dancing, Chen Haoxuan left with Hua Lingwei. Chen Haoxuan and Hua Lingwei found an empty room and called for the waiter to bring in a variety of delicious dishes. "Come on, let's toast to the delicious food," Chen Haoxuan said, raising his glass to Hua Lingwei.
With a pleasant clink, their glasses met. "Cheers!" Hua Lingwei exclaimed happily. She hadn't expected that Chen Haoxuan's tastes were so similar to hers, which only increased her fondness for him.
While they enjoyed their time together, Zhou Kexin's situation was less than ideal. Just as she found an excuse to leave, He Haoming caught her again and was now persistently clinging to her, making it impossible for her to shake him off.
"Chen Haoxuan, Zhou Kexin spent so much money inviting you to this gathering. Do you think she will be upset that you're here enjoying food with me?" Hua Lingwei asked worriedly.
"Who cares! She invited me to escape from her suitors. I've already helped her deal with them and accompanied her here, so I'm free now. You saw it yourself; she even kissed me without permission and got mad at me afterward. I ended up losing out while she was angry—what kind of sense does that make?" Chen Haoxuan replied unhappily.
Hua Lingwei covered her mouth and laughed, saying, "You! I don't even know how to respond to you. A girl kissed you; you should feel proud and satisfied! How can you expect someone else to pay for a kiss? This is about a girl's self-respect. Besides, Zhou Kexin is a rich heiress and the school beauty. With her status and worth, asking her for money for a kiss is humiliating! Wouldn't she be upset? If I were her, I would be angry too."
"That's true, but when she invited me, she didn't mention anything about kissing. Do you know? She took my first kiss today! My first kiss must be worth at least RMB!" Chen Haoxuan frowned. He was indeed attracted to women but only those he liked; he had no interest in someone like Zhou Kexin who only wanted to use him.
"I'll let you in on a secret: Zhou Kexin's kiss was also her first. So really, neither of you lost out; it's a first kiss exchanged for a first kiss," Hua Lingwei said with a smile.
"How could it be a loss? I don't even like her. Why should I give my first kiss to her? If I have to give it away, I'd rather give it to you than to that stingy little woman," Chen Haoxuan muttered.
The speaker was unaware, but the listener took it to heart. Hua Lingwei blushed shyly, suspecting that Chen Haoxuan was hinting at something, wanting to tell her that he liked her, not Zhou Kexin.
"Can I call you Vivi?" Chen Haoxuan suddenly asked Hua Lingwei. She thought it would be good to build connections with these wealthy young men, as it would greatly help his future development.
"Y-yes, that's fine," Hua Lingwei replied shyly.
"Vivi, I'm starting a small business and want to meet some people in the same field. Can you introduce me to a few? I don't need anyone big; I’m not capable of working with major players yet," Chen Haoxuan said earnestly.
"Sure! There are many downstairs that I know. Should I go get a few of them for you now?" Hua Lingwei responded readily.
"That would be great, thank you," Chen Haoxuan said happily.
Hua Lingwei was efficient in her work. When she returned, she had five or six people following her, both boys and girls, all around twenty-five years old. "Let me introduce you all. This is Chen Haoxuan, currently a student. My dad predicts he will be a billionaire business genius in the future, but for now, he isn't one yet. So it's best for you to curry favor with him now; once he becomes a billionaire, it won't be as easy," Hua Lingwei humorously introduced Chen Haoxuan.
"Vivi is just joking! If I were really that impressive, I wouldn't be in such a poor state right now," Chen Haoxuan said modestly with a smile.
"You can't say that! You know Mr. Hua (Hua Tianyu) is a very successful businessman. His high regard for you proves your abilities are quite impressive. By the way, I forgot to introduce myself; I'm Zhang Tianqi, and I work in the mobile phone business," Zhang Tianqi smiled at Chen Haoxuan.
"I'm Jiang Xianghan; I sell clothes," a mature beauty introduced herself.

Chen Haoxuan shook hands with them one by one, and then he began discussing business. Hua Tianyu, having heard somewhere that Chen Haoxuan was negotiating with others, also went to the room where Chen Haoxuan was. Fortunately, the room in Hotel Villa was about the same size as an ordinary living room; otherwise, it would have been too cramped.
Hua Tianyu, being wealthy and generous, suggested that Chen Haoxuan should not engage in small businesses and offered him a position as a consultant with a monthly salary of one million, along with one percent equity in Hua Group as a benefit. This offer was certainly not low, but Chen Haoxuan was not someone who had not seen the world. Having Hua Tianyu as his subordinate might have been acceptable, but for him to serve under someone else as a Chief Professor was simply an underutilization of his talents. Chen Haoxuan directly declined the offer.
Hua Tianyu was undeterred; he thought Chen Haoxuan might be dissatisfied with the salary being too low. Therefore, he increased the monthly salary by another million, yet Chen Haoxuan still refused. Concerned that Hua Tianyu might get angry, Chen Haoxuan explained that he did not like working for others and preferred to be his own boss.
Hua Tianyu seemed to have high hopes for Chen Haoxuan. After hearing his words, instead of getting upset, he offered to support Chen Haoxuan with one million Renminbi to start his business, on the condition that when Chen Haoxuan became successful in the future, he would take care of Hua Group.
As a millionaire with total assets exceeding hundreds of millions, Hua Tianyu's high regard for Chen Haoxuan was enough to demonstrate his value. Consequently, others began to ask Chen Haoxuan if he needed any assistance from them.
Chen Haoxuan disliked owing favors to others; he believed that debts of gratitude were the hardest to repay. Therefore, unless absolutely necessary, he would never seek help from anyone. He decided to open an online store, initially selling some mobile phones from Zhang Tianqi and women's clothing from Jiang Xianghan, while considering other options later on.
