After a while, Li Kun started to feel a bit better. He wanted to call his underlings for protection, but when he turned to shout, he saw all of them lying on the ground. On his way back to Curve, he saw Lin Hao and the others standing by the roadside. In front of them knelt a row of people—those thugs. The foreman who helped build Chen Haoxuan's villa stood nearby with about a hundred men, all armed with weapons like iron pipes and wrenches.
"Boss Chen, you're back so soon! Is Uncle okay?" Lin Hao asked with concern.
"He's fine; just minor injuries," Chen Haoxuan replied calmly.
Chen Haoxuan walked up to Li Kun and kicked him without hesitation. This wasn't because he was particularly violent; rather, he was extremely angry. Li Kun robbing him of his goods—taking his money—wouldn't have made him this furious. What angered him was that Li Kun's group had beaten up Chen Yuebin like that. "Hmph, let you go? You wish! I want you to pay the price," Chen Haoxuan replied before turning to Lin Hao and asking, "Has the ambulance I called arrived yet?"
"Not yet," Lin Hao nodded in response.
"The ambulance from Pingyuan County is indeed fast. But it's fine; I've already sent my uncle to the hospital. To ensure they don't come here for nothing, I'll give them some business! Lin Hao, you all come here and give them a good beating. If anyone among them can still stand up after ten minutes, then you won't receive your bonuses for this month," Chen Haoxuan said coldly.
"Chen Haoxuan, Boss Chen, please! Let's talk this out! Don't take it too far. We realize our mistakes; just let us go!" Li Kun begged desperately.
"If I were the defeated one, would you kindly let me go? Even if you did let me go, you'd probably take all my money. So you have no right to plead for mercy because I'm not one of the good guys either," Chen Haoxuan replied coldly.
Bang bang bang... Lin Hao and his team began to punch and kick Li Kun and his group. They could only lie on the ground curled up in agony, moaning helplessly; the defeated are always this miserable.

The villagers began to think that it would be better to be more courteous when encountering Chen Haoxuan in the future; otherwise, if they offended him, it would be disastrous.
These villagers tended to overthink. If Chen Haoxuan were truly a bad person, would he offer high prices to buy their goods? If it weren't for Chen Haoxuan helping them earn some extra money, could they be living so comfortably now?
