He Haoming had his butler gather information on Chen Haoxuan. He instructed his butler to collect all the bad deeds that Chen Haoxuan had committed, and if there wasn't enough, to fabricate some. In short, he wanted to make Chen Haoxuan look as bad as possible.
The butler searched online for information about Chen Haoxuan. After finding it, he began to modify the details to fit He Haoming's wishes. Once everything was translated into English, he saved Chen Haoxuan's information onto a USB drive and handed it to Leah.
Leah believed that the information He Haoming provided might be more accurate. However, when she opened the USB drive given by the butler, she found that all the information about Chen Haoxuan portrayed him in a negative light. Furious, she smashed her laptop in anger, feeling that He Haoming was treating her like a fool. She had just checked a website from the United States that presented a completely different picture of Chen Haoxuan, praising him highly, while the information provided by He Haoming painted him as utterly worthless.
With a loud crash, the sound of something breaking echoed from Leah's room. The butler rushed to her door, panicking and asking, "Miss Leah, what happened?" He hesitated to enter her room directly, fearing she might be changing clothes.
"Get that bastard He Haoming over here," Leah shouted angrily.
Even through the door, the butler could sense Leah's fury. He knew she must have discovered that He Haoming was deceiving her, which explained her rage.
He Haoming's room was on the third floor while Leah's was on the second. Due to the soundproofing of the villa, He Haoming did not hear Leah's outburst.
The butler quickly ran up to the third floor and burst into He Haoming's room without knocking, too anxious to wait. What he saw shocked him: He Haoming was watching adult films and even engaging in inappropriate behavior.
Hearing the door open, He Haoming turned around and saw his butler. Immediately, he put on a stern face and coldly said to him, "You better give me a good reason to calm me down; otherwise, get out." He Haoming was quite the lecher; without women for a day, he felt restless and wanted to seek companionship. However, with Leah around, he refrained from doing so because his father had warned him that if he acted out during this time, his father would cut off his spending card.
"Young Master, you need to go downstairs! Miss Leah is throwing a tantrum in her room! I think she must have realized we were deceiving her," the butler explained.
Upon hearing this, He Haoming stood up, zipped up his pants, and hurried down to the second floor. As he approached Leah's room, he could already hear loud crashing sounds—things being smashed. When he reached Leah's room and saw it in disarray from her rampage, he worriedly asked her, "Leah, what are you doing?"
"He Haoming, you bastard! You think I'm an idiot? I'm going to tell my dad! I will never be friends with you again!" Leah shouted at him with rage written all over her face.
"What is going on?" He Haoming actually knew the reason, but he still pretended to be clueless; he didn't want to accept the reality.
"You ask me what's going on? Don't you know? I asked you to help me find information about Chen Haoxuan, but what did you bring me? All negative aspects. Is Chen Haoxuan really that bad? If he were truly that terrible, why does everyone in the world hold him in such high regard? Ha, tell me! You're supposed to be smart!" Leah shouted at He Haoming.
"He Haoming, listen to me. The information I found is all true. I really didn't deceive you. If you don't believe me—I can swear to the heavens," He Haoming explained.
"Pah! I've seen through you. You've always treated me like a fool, deceiving me. If I marry you, I will never have a good life," Leah angrily replied to He Haoming.
"Leah, you have to believe me. I absolutely did not deceive you. If you don't trust me, you can ask the butler; he won't lie to you," He Haoming continued to plead, seemingly treating Leah as if she were naive.
As Leah packed her belongings, she cursed He Haoming: "You're a jerk, you're a liar. Besides deceiving people and doing bad things—what else can you do? I don't want to live here anymore; I'm leaving—I’m going to stay in a hotel."
"Leah, can't you forgive me? Please don't go! I'm begging you; if you leave, my dad will kill me..." He Haoming kept pleading, but Leah had already made up her mind to leave. The only person who could change her decision was her father; no one else could, except perhaps Chen Haoxuan.
In the end, Leah left. He Haoming couldn't stop her; even when his father personally tried to intervene, Leah refused to stay. As a wealthy young lady, she would not allow anyone to look down on her or treat her like a fool, which is why she hated He Haoming so much. Even if her father insisted she be with He Haoming, she would not listen.
Leah had come to China alone and felt lonely as she walked down the street with her suitcase. At that moment, she felt abandoned and wished Chen Haoxuan could come and comfort her.
Meanwhile, Chen Haoxuan at home had no idea that a beautiful woman was missing him. If he knew Leah still thought of him, he would wonder what expression would cross his face.
The more Leah thought about it, the more aggrieved and angry she became. She decided to take the plunge and go find Chen Haoxuan. She didn't believe that he would really dare to post her nude photos online. If he did dare, she would claim that she was already his and use that as leverage against him.
She had just seen Chen Haoxuan's address online and hailed many taxis. What troubled her was that many of the drivers didn't understand what she was saying. However, fortune favored the determined; when Leah hailed the twenty-first taxi, she encountered a driver who spoke English.
Half an hour later, she arrived at a relatively remote location in a taxi. The driver informed her that Chen Haoxuan lived inside the warehouse.
Leah pulled her suitcase and slowly walked toward Chen Haoxuan's residence. As she approached, a commanding voice called out, "Halt! What are you doing?"
