"Alright, I'll hang out with you today," Chen Haoxuan joked. He hadn't played with children in a long time and missed the times he spent with Chen Xiumin and the others.
Chen Xiumin was still young and didn't understand the concept of appropriate boundaries between boys and girls. She simply knew that she liked Chen Haoxuan very much, so she often held his hand or hugged his arm. Chen Haoxuan didn't mind because he regarded Chen Xiumin as his little sister. However, now that Chen Xiumin was hugging his arm, he could feel her chest pressing against him slightly, which made him feel a bit uncomfortable. Chen Xiumin held onto Chen Haoxuan as they strolled through the village. Eventually, they arrived at the riverbank where they sat on a large rock by the water. Chen Haoxuan sat while Chen Xiumin leaned against his shoulder; their posture resembled that of a couple.

"It's because you're daydreaming!" Chen Haoxuan joked.
Chen Xiumin playfully slapped Chen Haoxuan's chest and said, "You're so mean, always picking on me."
"Wait for me a moment; I'm going to get something small to play with," Chen Haoxuan said as he stood up. He jumped down from the rock and ran to a nearby bamboo grove, where he cut a few sections of bamboo with a small knife before returning to Chen Xiumin.
Seeing that Chen Haoxuan had brought back a piece of bamboo, Chen Xiumin curiously asked, "Brother Xuan, what are you doing with the bamboo?"
"I'm making an instrument," Chen Haoxuan replied as he used the small knife attached to his keychain to shape the bamboo into what he wanted.
Chen Haoxuan's knife was very sharp, and he controlled the force well. In just ten minutes, he crafted an instrument similar to a flute. He wiped the head of the flute with his hand and then placed it by his lips. A clear and melodious flute sound emerged, resonating beautifully—lively, cheerful, soaring, graceful… it was truly enchanting.
"Wow," Chen Xiumin exclaimed in surprise, tilting her head back and gazing at Chen Haoxuan with starry eyes. At that moment, she felt incredibly happy and wished time could freeze. She didn't understand what this feeling meant; if she told her parents about it, they would surely say, "Child, you're in love."
At that moment, five tourist boats floated down the river in Chen Family Village, each filled with visitors who had come from Danshan Tourist Area. Few tourists usually visited the river in Chen Family Village because many were unaware of the beautiful scenery along its banks. If it weren't for the tour guide's introduction, these tourists might never have known!
"Is someone playing the flute? Wow, it sounds so nice!" one tourist on a boat exclaimed.
"Guide, steer the boat over there; we want to see who's playing the flute," said a wealthy-looking woman.
"From the sound, it should be just ahead; that's Chen Family Village. I think the person playing the flute must be from there!" said a beautiful woman wearing a red hat standing at the front of the boat. She was the tour guide and lived in Pingyuan County, so she knew that the scenery along the river in Chen Family Village was quite nice. She had brought tourists to explore this river several times, and every visitor was very satisfied. That's why she often brought tourists to enjoy the area near Chen Family Village.
The boat slowly drifted down the river, and the sound of a flute grew louder. At that moment, a tourist with a telescope suddenly exclaimed, "Look, there are two people ahead! The one playing the flute is a guy."
There were quite a few tourists with telescopes; at least ten of them on these five boats. "Wow, they must be a couple; what a perfect match! That guy and girl are really good-looking. I want to go over and take a photo with them for a keepsake..." one of the tourists with a telescope kept muttering to themselves.
The tour guide wearing a red hat, named Xu Muqing, heard what the tourists with telescopes were saying. She really wanted to grab their telescopes to see what that couple looked like.
As the boat slowly approached, Xu Muqing was finally able to see the people ahead clearly. To get a better view, she asked the Ferry Operator to steer the boat closer to the shore since those tourists wanted to see the couple just as much as she did.
More than twenty tourists walked toward where Chen Haoxuan was located. Their numbers and footsteps startled Chen Haoxuan, interrupting his flute playing. Hearing the commotion, he turned around and saw a group of unfamiliar people approaching him.
"Xiumin, who are those people?" Chen Haoxuan asked Chen Xiumin. He had been reborn in the 21st century but did not inherit any memories from this body, which is why he asked Chen Xiumin.
