Chen Haoxuan walked up to the second floor. Once upstairs, he saw Chen Yina and Jiang Xianghan chatting together, and their smiles indicated they were having a great time.
Han Fenghua, the Little One, was ignored by Jiang Xianghan and the others, so he could only play by himself. Standing on the sofa, he inadvertently turned his head and saw Chen Haoxuan in camouflage attire. He happily called out in a sweet voice, "Uncle Xuan, hug!"
Hearing Han Fenghua's delicate voice, Jiang Xianghan and the others turned to look at the doorway, where they found Chen Haoxuan standing with a smile on his face.
Chen Yina stood up and said to Chen Haoxuan, "Brother Xuan, you're back! Are you hungry?"
"Sister Han and Diao Chan are here! Please wait for me a moment; I just finished training and am all sweaty. I need to take a shower first; I'll be right back," Chen Haoxuan replied with a smile to Jiang Xianghan and the others.
Chen Haoxuan went to his room to grab his usual clothes (which he designed himself), walked into the bathroom, turned on the faucet to wet himself, applied some body wash, and rinsed off quickly. It only took him a few minutes.
Seeing Chen Haoxuan come out so quickly, Jiang Xianghan and the others couldn't help but ask him, "Xuan, did you not take a shower but just change clothes?"
"I did shower; I just didn't wash as thoroughly as you women do," Chen Haoxuan joked.
Chen Haoxuan walked over to Jiang Xianghan and sat down. Han Fenghua, the Little One, seemed to really like Chen Haoxuan. As soon as he arrived, she rolled off the sofa and hugged his legs while calling out "Uncle" repeatedly.
Chen Haoxuan picked up Han Fenghua and placed her on his lap. Smiling at her, he asked, "Tell Uncle what you like. I'll get it for you."
"Uncle Xuan will really get anything for little Hua?" Han Fenghua looked at Chen Haoxuan with bright eyes and asked sweetly.
"Of course! As long as you can name it, I would even pick the moon for you to kick around as a ball," Chen Haoxuan joked.
The Little One was clearly amazed by Chen Haoxuan's abilities. She exclaimed, "Wow, Uncle Xuan is so amazing!"
"That's right! Uncle Xuan is a once-in-a-lifetime genius; how could I not be amazing? Don't you think?" Chen Haoxuan joked.
"Mm, no wonder Brother Xuan can beat up bad guys," Little One truly believed Chen Haoxuan's words.
Jiang Xianghan heard the conversation between Chen Haoxuan and Han Fenghua and covered their mouths, giggling nonstop. Han Yuanchan, seeing how well Chen Haoxuan got along with her son, felt even more jealous of Chen Yina. She thought to herself, how could Chen Yina's fate be so good? She was born together with Chen Haoxuan.
"Uncle Xuan, Xiaohua wants a daddy. Can you be Xiaohua's daddy?" Han Fenghua looked at Chen Haoxuan with hopeful eyes.
"Of course! Your mommy is so beautiful; not only can she marry a good man, but she could also bring home a husband," Chen Haoxuan patted his chest and readily agreed.
"But Xiaohua wants Uncle Xuan to be Xiaohua's daddy! If Uncle Xuan becomes Xiaohua's daddy, then no one will dare bully Xiaohua and mommy anymore," Han Fenghua said seriously to Chen Haoxuan. At just three years old, he couldn't possibly lie; he was speaking from the heart. Understanding these things at such a young age meant he would surely become a great person in the future.
Han Yuanchan's face turned red instantly. She quickly hugged her son back and sternly said to him, "Don't talk nonsense! Your Brother Xuan already has a girlfriend; be careful or Aunt Nana will spank you."
Han Fenghua put a finger in his mouth and chewed thoughtfully. With curious eyes, he looked at his mother and said, "But... but mommy, you said you like Uncle Xuan!"
Han Yuanchan felt embarrassed and apologized to Chen Haoxuan, "I'm sorry; children don't understand and just say whatever."
Children don’t lie, Chen Haoxuan understood, but he pretended not to know. He smiled and said, "It's okay; I like kids who joke around."
Women are the most sensitive when it comes to feelings. Chen Yina could tell that Han Yuanchan had feelings for her Brother Xuan and was jealous. That was normal, but she wasn't angry. It was natural for someone as outstanding as her Brother Xuan to have girls like him. She also pretended not to know to avoid awkwardness.
At that moment, the security guard on duty ran upstairs and respectfully addressed Chen Haoxuan, "Boss, it's lunchtime. Would you like to eat here or at our training area?"
"Here will be fine!" Chen Haoxuan replied.
"Okay." The security guard turned and ran back down.
The food that was brought up was neither by the security guard nor Li Ping but by the couple Chen Feng. "Brother Xuan, I'm here to mooch off food again!"
"When did you become interested in working as a server? If it weren't for me getting you a job at the Supermarket, would you even consider it?" Chen Haoxuan joked.
"I'd only consider it after I graduate from college! Right?" Chen Feng said as she placed the dishes on the dining table, serving each dish onto the table.
"Come on, let's eat. It's just simple food, so don't mind it!" Chen Haoxuan said enthusiastically.
"Do you think we're blind? This meal alone costs over five hundred Renminbi just for the ingredients. Do you really think this meal is lacking?" Jiang Xianghan complained about Chen Haoxuan's modesty.
"In a hotel, one dish can cost hundreds of dollars. This isn't simple food; what is it then? It's made by my Mother-in-law. She's been learning to cook every day and is almost a culinary master now. You should try it and see how it tastes!" Chen Haoxuan said warmly to Jiang Xianghan and the others.
To be fair, Chen Haoxuan's Mother-in-law, Li Ping, has indeed improved her cooking skills significantly. Lin Hao and the others have been enjoying the meals prepared by Li Ping every day.
After finishing lunch, Chen Haoxuan greeted Jiang Xianghan and went off to do his own thing. In order to show Jiang Xianghan their capabilities, Chen Yina took her to the top floor of the villa, where there was a gazebo that offered a view of the entire Chen Family Village, including the training area where Chen Haoxuan and the others practiced.
However, today it seemed that Chen Haoxuan was deliberately opposing Chen Yina. He wanted to show off his boyfriend's skills but ended up having Lin Hao and the others line up perfectly, each standing a meter apart. Even Chen Haoxuan stood still like Lin Hao and the others; if it weren't for their close proximity, Chen Yina would have suspected they were wooden figures.
Chen Haoxuan was currently training for endurance, which was tougher than any other exercise. Although it was simply standing still, could you really stand under the sun for hours without moving? Most people with weak endurance wouldn't be able to do such a thing.
