"You actually put egg whites on me and then released a snake. The snake, attracted by the smell of the egg whites, came after me. If it wants to eat the egg whites, it has to kill me first, right?" Chen Haoxuan said with a wicked smile.
"I'll tell you this: I am the Poison King. I can create any poison. If you release the snake in your hand, I won't bother you again. But if you don't, I will be killed by my own poison," the one known as the Poison King threatened Chen Haoxuan.

"Is that so?" Chen Haoxuan said with a wicked smile as he stepped closer to the Poison King. When he reached his third step, he stopped and playfully said to the Poison King, "Poison King, didn't you say I've been hit by your Three Steps Down? Why do I feel perfectly fine? Is your poison ineffective, or am I just too strong?"
"This!! This is impossible! How can you be immune to all poisons?" the Poison King said in distress.
"The reason is simple: you are the Poison King, and I am a divine doctor. I can cure all your poisons," Chen Haoxuan replied.
"You’re lying! Just now, I released the powder of Three Steps Down. You haven't taken any antidote after being hit!" The Poison King said in disbelief.
"Actually, it's quite simple. I'm a divine doctor! To treat various poisons and diseases, I had to test them on myself! Over time, I've developed this body that is immune to all poisons. If you're envious of me, you can train yourself!" Chen Haoxuan said while moving closer.
"You!! Don't come any closer." The Poison King continuously threw packets of poison powder at Chen Haoxuan, but it did nothing to stop his advance.
The snake in Chen Haoxuan's hand seemed excited; it kept opening its mouth and inhaling the poison powder in the air.
Seeing that all his poisons were ineffective against Chen Haoxuan, the Poison King finally believed that Chen Haoxuan was indeed immune to all poisons. He then resorted to his last resort: a handgun. He quickly drew a pistol and aimed it at Chen Haoxuan, coldly commanding, "Stop! If you come any closer, I'll shoot."
Chen Haoxuan used the snake in his hand like a whip and struck at the Poison King's wrist. With a loud crack, the Poison King's wrist was hit hard, causing him to lose grip on the gun which fell to the ground. As soon as the gun hit the floor, it went off with a bang, and Chen Haoxuan felt a bullet strike his chest.
Poison King laughed heartily when he saw Chen Haoxuan get shot in the chest. He bent down to pick up the handgun that had just fallen to the ground. However, Chen Haoxuan was actually unharmed; due to previous ambush experiences, he had placed several steel plates in the pocket of his chest, which had stopped the bullet and left him uninjured.
Seeing Poison King attempting to retrieve the gun, Chen Haoxuan kicked out, striking Poison King in the head. He quickly bent down to grab the handgun from the ground and darted into a corner.
Poison King realized that Chen Haoxuan was fine and that he was not a match for him, so he decided to flee.
When Chen Haoxuan saw Poison King trying to escape, he raised both guns and fired. Bang! Both of Poison King's legs were hit, forcing him to kneel on the ground. With another bang, a blood hole appeared in Poison King's forehead; this was caused by one of his own men. Chen Haoxuan had determined the sniper's approximate location based on where Poison King was shot.
After searching for a long time without success, he decided to lure the snake out of its hole. He took off his coat and threw it away. Then he fell to the ground and lay on his side, watching ahead.
It seemed that Chen Haoxuan's discarded clothing attracted the sniper's attention. Since snipers rely on their scopes to aim at targets, when Chen Haoxuan threw out his coat, they had to adjust their rifles. This slight movement could sometimes reveal their position.
Chen Haoxuan only took two seconds to look around; once those two seconds passed, he immediately hid again. "Looks like I should ask Shen Ruyan for help," he muttered as he took out his phone.
The call connected quickly: “Shen Ruyan, I'm at the entrance of New City University. Someone is trying to snipe me with a rifle. Please help me catch those who are after me,” said Chen Haoxuan.
“Just wait; I'll be there soon,” came Shen Ruyan's voice from the phone.
Shen Ruyan arrived quickly. Chen Haoxuan instructed her to hide elsewhere while he checked for the sniper's position. To find out where the sniper was located, Chen Haoxuan had no choice but to take a risk; he ran forward in an S-line pattern. Bang! Bang! The distinctive sound of a sniper rifle echoed.
This time, not only did Shen Ruyan notice it, but even Chen Haoxuan himself did as well. They realized where the shots were coming from, but they only had handguns and no sniper rifles; the distance was too far for handguns to be effective, and even Chen Haoxuan lacked confidence in hitting anything from that range. Therefore, the only option was to get closer. Chen Haoxuan continued running along the S route while Shen Ruyan followed suit.
The sniper fired multiple shots without hitting Chen Haoxuan, so he decided to retreat decisively. The sniper jumped down from a building on the other side and immediately got into a van.
By the time Chen Haoxuan and Shen Ruyan reached the spot where the sniper had been, he had already vanished without a trace.
Again missing the target, Chen Haoxuan felt quite displeased. If you were constantly being assassinated, you wouldn't be happy either.
"Chen Haoxuan, the sniper jumped down from the other side and ran away," Shen Ruyan said to Chen Haoxuan.

The team sent by the Dragon Group arrived at New City University that afternoon. Shen Ruyan brought them to Chen Haoxuan's residence.
"This is Flower Speed; he loves flowers and took a floral surname. His speed with knives is so fast that it can't be seen by the naked eye. This is Smiling Tiger; he's cheerful and enjoys joking around, which earned him this nickname. His ability lies in his eloquence and fortune-telling skills.
This is Sharpshooter; you should already know his expertise without me saying more. This is Strongman; he has natural strength and can compete with an African elephant. We once examined his body; his muscles are very hard, and when he strikes, it feels like hitting a rock. Additionally, his bones contain a small amount of metal.
This is Flying Leg; he practices lightness skill and can run faster than a car. She is Thief; she is incredibly flexible and can squeeze into very small spaces. No matter what lock it is, she can open it. This is Speedster; he loves to show off and is a car enthusiast who modifies cars himself. The fastest car he modified can even float in mid-air; he usually just handles our transportation."
He is called the Grim Reaper, and his specialty is creating various hidden weapons and poisons. He and you share a common trait: both are immune to all toxins. She is called Little Fly, my good sister; she is a Hacker Expert and can also create various electronic devices. The last one is me; my nickname is Beauty, the Commander.
"You are the Commander, so that means you are very smart, right?" Chen Haoxuan looked at Shen Ruyan in surprise.
"Yes! Didn't expect that, did you?" Shen Ruyan said proudly.
"I just can't understand how someone as smart as you can be a Commander and lead so many experts. I'm envious!" Chen Haoxuan said to Shen Ruyan.

Chen Haoxuan ignored her and addressed all the Dragon Group members: "I am Chen Haoxuan. Thank you all for coming to help me. Once this matter is over, you will all get what you desire."
"Are you bragging? If I say I want the perfect Motor, can you give it to me?" Speedster rolled his eyes at Chen Haoxuan.
"Of course! I will create a Motor that is only the size of a teapot. Don't underestimate its size; it can reach speeds of 600 kilometers per hour. Its engine noise is very low, and if driven slowly, it's almost silent. Would you want such a Motor?" Chen Haoxuan replied to Speedster.
"For that Motor, I'm in!" Speedster said excitedly; he was a car enthusiast, and what Chen Haoxuan described made him eager to have it.
"What about me? What can you give me?" asked the person called Flying Leg.
"I can help you create retractable wings. Although they won't allow you to fly, they will enable you to glide down from heights, allowing you to go anywhere," Chen Haoxuan said.
"What about me? What about me!" the girl called Thief excitedly asked Chen Haoxuan.
"Your bones are soft due to a condition that prevents you from lifting heavier objects. I can treat this condition for you; however, if I fix your cartilage, you won't be able to move as freely as before," Chen Haoxuan explained.
"Wow, you're amazing! You can even treat a disease like soft bone disease. I admire you so much," the Thief said affectionately to Chen Haoxuan.
A girl named Little Fly walked up to Chen Haoxuan and said seriously, "I don't want anything else; I just want to learn your hacking skills."
"That's no problem. As long as your character is reliable, I'll consider teaching you," Chen Haoxuan replied readily.
Others approached Chen Haoxuan, wanting to know if he had what they were looking for. What Chen Haoxuan mentioned earlier couldn't be accomplished immediately; it required a lot of time, so he didn't want to promise them anything right now.
"Everyone, please be quiet. Once this matter is settled, you will definitely be satisfied with your gifts," Chen Haoxuan said.
"Everyone, please be quiet and follow me. I'll take you to your rooms," Shen Ruyan said loudly.
Now Chen Haoxuan's living space had expanded because he rented the house next door as well. He had torn down the wall in between, so the two rooms became one—how could it not be spacious?
Since Shen Ruyan's teammates were visiting for the first time, their host should treat them to a good meal. So, Chen Haoxuan took them to Villa Hotel and ordered a table full of delicious dishes.
The Strongman lived up to his name. When Chen Haoxuan offered him red wine, he waved his hand dismissively: "No." He had the waiter bring over a case of sixty-degree white liquor, and his drinking style was impressive; even Chen Haoxuan felt he was formidable, downing an entire bottle in one go.
Although Chen Haoxuan still didn't know how strong they really were, just listening to their capabilities made him believe they wouldn't be lacking. He thought that once he dealt with those who wanted to kill him, he would take them to Chen Family Village to help train Jiang Dong and the others; perhaps Jiang Dong and the others would improve.
Chen Haoxuan and his group didn't return until midnight. By the time they got back, three of them were drunk: Smiling Tiger, Speedster, and Thief. At that moment, the Strongman played a significant role; he carried Smiling Tiger and Speedster back by himself while Little Fly supported Thief.
Upon returning to their residence, Shen Ruyan sat next to Chen Haoxuan and asked, "So, what do you think? Our Dragon Group's strength isn't low, right?"
"How would I know without fighting? Just like you—intelligent—but somehow became their commander. Because of that point alone, I have my doubts," Chen Haoxuan replied.
"I said, if you’re not angry with me, is that not okay?" Shen Ruyan said angrily. She really couldn't understand why Chen Haoxuan could chat normally with others! He was polite and everything, but with her, it was always about what was wrong or what couldn't be done, often leaving her feeling hurt.
"I'm just speaking the truth! If you don't believe me, we can try it out," Chen Haoxuan replied.
"How do we try?" Shen Ruyan asked eagerly.
"What is one plus one?" Chen Haoxuan asked.
Shen Ruyan playfully extended a finger and poked Chen Haoxuan's forehead, laughing, "You silly! One plus one definitely equals two!"
"You’re the silly one! I never said what we were adding. What if I said we were adding a couple? If they had a baby together, wouldn’t that make three? So you should use your brain more; otherwise, your commander will soon be replaced by someone else," Chen Haoxuan said.
"That's just nonsense," Shen Ruyan replied unhappily.
"Whether it’s nonsense or not, as long as it makes sense, it’s good," Chen Haoxuan smiled.
"I can't argue with you," Shen Ruyan pouted.
"I see you've had quite a bit to drink tonight; you should head to bed early!" Chen Haoxuan told Shen Ruyan.
"Can you kiss me again?" Shen Ruyan looked at Chen Haoxuan expectantly, emboldened by the alcohol.
"I charge for that!" Chen Haoxuan replied.
Ignoring whether Chen Haoxuan was willing or not, Shen Ruyan quickly kissed his lips and then got up, laughing as she ran off to sleep.
Looking at Shen Ruyan's back, Chen Haoxuan wondered if he was too soft. Even a girl dared to bully him, and several people had been forcefully kissed by girls. Once, he was even forced to escape through a window.
The next morning, Chen Haoxuan personally cooked breakfast. After finishing, he took Shen Ruyan and the others to stroll around New City University. The scene was quite impressive: a muscular man over two meters tall, a cute and lovely girl, a handsome noble prince, and a scruffy guy reeking of gasoline… each person had their own unique characteristics.
With Shen Ruyan and the others by his side, Chen Haoxuan felt fearless. In fact, he was eager for someone to come and cause trouble for him. Unfortunately, Abel and Meihiko seemed to have disappeared; otherwise, he would have gone directly to find them. As for another enemy, Chen Haoxuan still had no idea who it was.
