Not far from New City University, a slender young man pushed open the door and entered a small house. "Miss, we thought this matter was important, so we wanted to inform you that Chen Haoxuan has nine strange people with him. We planned to investigate their identities afterward. I hope you can understand," the young man explained respectfully.
"Hmph, do you think I, Black Rose, am as useless as you? Let me tell you, I already knew this information yesterday afternoon and even knew the identities of those strange people. You are wasting my father's money; therefore, I must help him get rid of you, this useless thing." With a swift motion, a handgun appeared in Black Rose's hand.
Seeing Black Rose aiming the gun at him, the young man was so frightened that he fell to the ground. He knew who Black Rose was; she was called Black Rose because of her beauty but had a heart as dark as night—a ruthless killer who wouldn't blink an eye while taking lives. No one knew how many people she had killed except for herself.
"Miss, I am loyal to your father; you can't kill me. If you do, your father will blame you," the young man pleaded with a trembling voice.
"Heh heh heh... Do you think I don't know what you did yesterday? Do you need me to spell it out for you?" Black Rose replied coldly.
Upon hearing her words, the young man's forehead broke out in a cold sweat. He desperately began to bow his head repeatedly against the floor—bang bang bang... After just a few knocks, blood began to flow from his forehead. "Miss, considering my years of loyalty to your father... please spare me this time! I promise such a thing will never happen again."
"Hmph, while facing enemies, you dared to visit a prostitute. Someone like you shouldn't live in this world; die!" After saying this, Black Rose pulled the trigger. With a sharp sound, a bullet hole appeared in the young man's forehead.
"Someone take this waste away," Black Rose commanded sweetly.
Soon after, several farmers entered through the door and expressionlessly carried the deceased young man out.
Black Rose sat back on the sofa and removed the silencer from her handgun, muttering to herself, "Chen Haoxuan, don't think that just because you have people from the Dragon Group protecting you, you can cause trouble for me. I'll show you the power of Black Rose. Just wait! Hehehe..."
Chen Haoxuan, along with Shen Ruyan and the others, had been wandering around New City for a long time without spotting any enemies, which left Speedster and the others quite dissatisfied. They were there to protect Chen Haoxuan, not to accompany him on a shopping trip. However, Shen Ruyan, Little Fly, and Thief were having a great time because Chen Haoxuan had bought them many beautiful gifts. Instead of protesting to Chen Haoxuan, they told him they wanted to go shopping again the next day.
With no results from their outing, Chen Haoxuan had no choice but to take Shen Ruyan and the others back.
Around 10 PM, Abel and Meihiko were walking in the campus garden when suddenly a shadow rushed out from behind a dense tree. A massive fist struck Meihiko in the chest; despite her ample size, her resilient chest offered no protection against such overwhelming force. With a loud thud, Meihiko's body was sent flying several meters into a flowerbed.
