"My car is different from regular cars, so let me show you how to use it!" Speedster said, carefully explaining how to operate the vehicle to Chen Haoxuan. He only needed to say it once, knowing that Chen Haoxuan had a strong memory and didn't require a second explanation.
"Okay, I got it. You just sit tight!" Chen Haoxuan said before getting out of the car to open the iron gate of the garage. He quickly returned to the vehicle, pressed the accelerator, and with a roar, the black luxury van shot out.
Black Rose saw a van driving out from Chen Haoxuan's residence and exclaimed, "Shoot his tires."
Bang bang... Gunshots rang out immediately. "Miss, the car is going too fast; we can't hit it," a sniper lying on the ground replied to Black Rose.
Seeing the car heading toward them, Black Rose thought Chen Haoxuan wanted to confront her directly. She shouted, "Everyone get ready for battle."
Chen Haoxuan drove in circles, occasionally executing beautiful drifts; anyone unaware might think he was performing. His driving style was entirely for his own safety; if he drove in a straight line, enemies could easily hit him, so he had to maneuver around.
Soon, Chen Haoxuan approached Black Rose and her group, driving straight at them. Bang bang! He collided with two unfortunate individuals who couldn't dodge in time. Chen Haoxuan sharply turned the steering wheel for a perfect drift, sending a gunman flying who was desperately shooting at him.
Pressing the accelerator again, vroom... Chen Haoxuan drove wildly in all directions.
"Kong Ba, smash that car!" Black Rose shouted from a dirt mound. She had brought top-notch experts with her! Three of them had just been killed by the car; how could she not be furious?
Kong Ba's weapon was different from others; it wasn't a gun or a knife but a massive iron hammer. Weighing fifty pounds, it felt like a stick in his hands, allowing him to wield it however he pleased. Hearing Black Rose's command, he raised the giant hammer and charged toward Chen Haoxuan's car, aiming to crush it with one blow.
Chen Haoxuan ignored Kong Ba because no matter how fast he ran on foot, he couldn't catch up to him in the car. Upon hearing Black Rose's voice inside the vehicle, he thought that this woman must be their leader and drove straight toward her.
At that moment, Black Rose saw who was driving. When she recognized Chen Haoxuan, she revealed a sinister smile and stood still without dodging.
Illuminated by the headlights, Chen Haoxuan clearly saw Black Rose's face. Just as he thought he would run her over, Black Rose suddenly leaped into the air. With a loud thud on the roof of the car, Chen Haoxuan realized it was her.
"Speedster, what is your car's roof made of?" Chen Haoxuan asked worriedly.
"Don't worry! My roof is made of the best steel plates, so even if she throws a grenade on it, nothing will happen," Speedster proudly replied.
Chen Haoxuan drove out in the Speedster to find out who the enemy was. Now that he knew, it was time to leave. With Black Rose on the roof of the car, Chen Haoxuan drove fast, making sharp turns in an attempt to shake her off.
Kong Ba and the others saw Black Rose on top of the van, and as the van moved further away from them, Kong Ba shouted anxiously, "Hurry... get in the car and chase after them! We must rescue the lady; if anything happens to her, we're all done for."
Black Rose lay still on top of the van, not because she didn't want to move, but because Chen Haoxuan was driving too fast. Any movement could easily throw her off.
While driving, Chen Haoxuan laughed and said, "Speedster, what do you think about taking her to a deserted place and letting you have a good time with her?"
"Easy for you to say. If she dares to follow us, she must not fear either of us. That's why I wouldn't dare touch a rose with thorns like her," Speedster replied with a laugh.
Chen Haoxuan said to Speedster, "You drive; I'll go up to the roof and talk to her."
"No way! Our mission is to protect you, not let you take risks. I can't allow you to go," Speedster said seriously.
"You can't just say no!" After saying this, Chen Haoxuan opened the window and quickly climbed out.
With Chen Haoxuan on the roof, Speedster had no choice but to keep driving; otherwise, they would all be in trouble.
Since Chen Haoxuan was on the roof, Speedster drove fast but steadily enough for both him and Black Rose to stand on top of the car.
"Can you tell me who you are?" Chen Haoxuan asked Black Rose.
"My name is Black Rose," she replied coldly.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" This question almost made Black Rose fall off.
"Cough... Whether I have a boyfriend or not is none of your business. Now let me tell you why I'm here: I want the computer technology in your hands. If you agree to give it to me, you'll receive our help and support. If you refuse, then you're our enemy, and we will eliminate you at all costs," Black Rose stated firmly.
"Can you tell me your identity?" Chen Haoxuan asked.
"It's not that I don't want to tell you, but I'm afraid it would scare you. Besides, knowing our identity won't benefit you at all; it will only bring you a lot of trouble, so it's better if you don't know. Now just tell me, are you going to give it or not?" Black Rose replied.
"You can talk after you beat me," Chen Haoxuan said.
"This is what you asked for." After Black Rose finished speaking, she raised her hand and threw a sharp punch at Chen Haoxuan.
Chen Haoxuan tilted his head and dodged it. He swung his leg like a crocodile's tail, trying to kick Black Rose down. However, to his surprise, Black Rose was stronger than he expected. She grabbed Chen Haoxuan's leg and threw him directly onto the beach by the roadside, then jumped down herself.
Since it was nighttime, Speedster was unaware that Chen Haoxuan and Black Rose were fighting on the beach. After a while of noticing that the car roof was still, he parked the car and got out to check. He found that both Chen Haoxuan and Black Rose were gone. Chen Haoxuan was an important figure in China, so Speedster quickly drove back. He saw two shadows fighting on a beach by the roadside and immediately guessed it was Chen Haoxuan and Black Rose.
When Speedster intended to get out of the car to help Chen Haoxuan, several cars sped towards them from a distance. He knew those were Black Rose's subordinates.
Chen Haoxuan also noticed the situation by the roadside. He shouted to Speedster, "Speedster, don't worry about me; I can find a way to escape."
Outnumbered, even if Speedster went to help, it would be futile and might even drag Chen Haoxuan down. So he chose to leave first.
