Chen Haoxuan and Shen Ruyan led the horse out of the Ranch. Shen Ruyan swiftly mounted the horse and smiled at Chen Haoxuan, saying, "Hurry up and get on! I'll take you for a ride."
Chen Haoxuan glanced at the majestic horse and awkwardly replied, "Actually, I don't know how to ride. Can you teach me?"

Chen Haoxuan laughed heartily and gave the horse a firm slap on its rear. Feeling a sudden sting, the horse galloped forward.

Chen Haoxuan and Shen Ruyan galloped across the Prairie. It was afternoon, and as the sun set, the clouds in the sky turned a fiery red, creating a beautiful scene. Such evening glow could never be seen in the city; it could only be appreciated in flat areas like the sea or the Prairie. Watching the sunset in these places was the most beautiful experience. The scene they were in felt poetic, like a couple playfully chasing each other.
Chen Haoxuan was very happy today; he loved the feeling of riding. It felt much more thrilling than driving.
He stopped on a higher patch of grass, jumped off his horse, and let it graze while he lay down on the grass, gazing at the endless Prairie and the beautiful sunset on the horizon.
"Although this place isn't picturesque with mountains and clear waters, it gives a sense of freedom and ease that can't be felt in the city. It's as beautiful here as by the sea; I wish I could be an ordinary herder here," Chen Haoxuan mused to himself while lying on the grass.
At that moment, Shen Ruyan rode up on her horse. She jumped off and ran to Chen Haoxuan's side, lightly kicking him with her foot and pouting, "I told you to wait for me! Why didn't you listen? Hmph."
Chen Haoxuan replied calmly, "Who knew you were such a poor rider?"
"You..." Shen Ruyan's chest heaved with anger at Chen Haoxuan's words; if he pushed her further, her clothes might burst from her frustration.
"Don't be mad! I was just joking! Come on, lie down with me and enjoy nature," Chen Haoxuan said, patting the grass beside him to invite Shen Ruyan to lie down next to him.
"Hmph, who wants to lie down with you?" Shen Ruyan pouted, saying this, but she still wanted to stay next to Chen Haoxuan. She sat beside him, hugging her legs and gazing into the distance.
"Shen Ruyan, how long have you been here?" Chen Haoxuan asked.
"Almost ten years. I remember I came to the Dragon Group for training when I was twelve," Shen Ruyan replied with a smile.
"So you were a genius at twelve?" Chen Haoxuan turned to look at Shen Ruyan.
Shen Ruyan awkwardly said, "Not really! I'm just a bit smarter than average, and my grandfather knows our team leader, so he recommended me. The team leader saw my talent and accepted me."
"Using connections?" Chen Haoxuan joked.
"Hey, you're the one using connections! I got in based on my abilities, okay? Just... just a little bit of help from my grandfather," Shen Ruyan said awkwardly.
"Can you tell me what you like?" Chen Haoxuan smiled at Shen Ruyan. He had developed quite a fondness for her and wanted to give her a gift.
Hearing Chen Haoxuan's words, Shen Ruyan looked at him happily and said, "You’re not thinking of giving me a gift, are you?"
